as an engineer and working with Guenther.

Yeah, I have to be honest and say we hit rock bottom.

This season, the performance of Esteban was not really what we expect.

The car obviously hasn't been performing as well throughout the entire season.

At the moment, our biggest, um, you know, rival and enemy is ourselves.

The car is not as competitive as we would like.

We have done great things with this team.

One very clear reason that I decided to go to Haas is Ayao.

He's really someone that understands,

you know, the technical aspect of it as well

because he's been running a car in the past.

And I hope I can lead this team to... to great things in the future.

Knowing where we were last year, how many people we've got, et cetera,

I think it's really amazing.

It's really all down to you guys,

so you should be proud of what you guys achieved.

I don't think about hanging on to P6.

I think I'd like to approach every single race

to get the best out of the car, the best out of the drivers.

Are you fully 100% sure that Ocon is a good fit for us?

The main thing for me is his work ethic.

so I'm pretty confident he was the best choice.

Esteban... I think when the time is tough,

like he's going through this year with Alpine,

I think it really shows the character of who you are.

For drivers to perform,

they need to be comfortable with the environment,

and I believe, as Haas F1 team, we are providing that environment.

but it doesn't really take any pain away from us that, as the Haas F1 team,

we really had a very, very poor weekend.
