[thunder crashes]

[Russell] Right.

So here in Singapore,

the rain has come.

That's my last hope for the weekend. Please stay like that.

[Russell] Netflix have given us these phones.

I'm gonna introduce you to Lando Norris.

Alexander Albono.

-Charles Leclerc. -[Albon laughs]

And Pierre Gasly!

So we're gonna be showing you guys a weekend through our lens.

Let's go!

[upbeat music plays]

-[man] Look at that. -This place is a movie, bro.

[Russell] We grew up together.

We used to train together, eat together, travel together.

[Albon] People don't realize

we're spending more time with each other than with our own families.

What's up, world?

[Russell] Private. Is he in?

It's past midnight.

-What's this? -[Norris] Netflix.

-Suck my balls. -[laughter]

-[in French] Mom, say hello. -Hello.

[Norris in English] Singapore is one of my favorites.

You need people on the outside to understand how it feels.

Oh my God, there's too many cameras.

Bye.

[dramatic music plays]

Singapore is one of those tracks that you know stuff's about to happen.

90% humidity. Sixty degrees in the cockpit.

It's like a sauna in here.

Between these walls, everything warps.

You have all these strong lights.

It's a cool feeling. [laughs]

Singapore is unforgiving.

If you do a mistake,

that's it.

It's gonna be the toughest race of the season.

We're all fierce competitors.

We all want to win.

In Singapore, the consequences could be massive if you get it wrong.

-I think my knob's gone. -[man] Wasn't much in the first place.

It's shrunk from six to three.

[wheel gun whirring]

[engine revs]

[PA chimes]

All right. Give that a wipe.

-Oh, we gotta go landscape. -[Russell] Wrong way, yeah.

-[Albon] This is George, everyone. -Hi, guys.

Is this for the personal collection or Netflix?

[Albon] My private collection.

[upbeat cheeky music playing]

Don't get the feet on show, please. [chuckles]

I'm George Russell.

I am 26 years old.

And I wouldn't say I'm geeky, but I probably am a bit.

I'm gonna turn it around now and show you the view on the way to Singapore.

-Is that how influencers do it? -Yeah, that wasn't cool, mate.

[Russell] Alex and I travel together.

He's the closest friend I have from all of the drivers.

He's definitely

seen as the joker.

Hello, I'm Alex Albon.

I race for Williams Racing. I'm 28 years old.

-Am I 28? -[woman] You're 28.

Hello, I'm Alex Albon.

When I travel, I'll fly almost always commercial.

So does George because, even though he's on a good salary,

he's… he's still pretty tight. [laughs]

[music stops]

-Where's Lando? Is he not on… -[Albon] He's flying with Max.

Oh yeah. Lando wouldn't wanna fly, uh, commercial, would he?

-He's too big time for that. -He's just not…

[upbeat music plays]

[music stops]

Hello.

[upbeat music plays]

Morning.

I'm Lando Norris.

I'm 24 years old.

This bit of freaking hair! Do you have a hat I can wear?

-[producer] Hair looks fine. -Fine. I won't do the interview.

[producer] Look at me.

-Cheers, Max. -[Verstappen] I'll see you later.

I feel like Lando is turning into a bit of a playboy.

[Ricciardo] Which one's yours?

[Norris] Daniel's hitching a ride.

-What's this? -[Norris] Netflix.

-Netflix? -[Norris] Yeah.

-Really? -[Norris] In the phone.

[Ricciardo] Oh, shut up!

[music stops]

I look… perfect.

[laughs]

I have the piano. I have everything. Thank you so much.

My name is Charles Leclerc.

I'm 27 years old, and I drive for Scuderia Ferrari.

[Russell] Charles is a good-looking guy.

I've got the best hair, but he's the best looking.

I mean, the guy plays piano.

[gentle piano music plays]

[music stops]

Pierre, he's always late.

-[Gasly] How are you? -[producer] Good. How're you?

Always late.

I'm Pierre Gasly.

I'm 28 years old.

-Hello. -[producer] Hey, hey.

[producer] And how do you think the others might describe you?

I've got no fucking idea. [laughs]

I have the same room every year.

This is it.

[producer] Is that a superstition?

No.

[producer] Why this room, then?

'Cause it's the one I get put in. [laughs]

[Russell] I travel with my own pillow.

I can assure you it's comfy.

And I actually travel also

with a duvet.

If you want, you can take a shit with a view. It's pretty impressive.

[Leclerc] Though we are different, we have different personalities,

we have lots of things in common.

Yeah, that makes us very close.

I think your stay's not welcome now.

-[producer] Night, Alex. -Bye-bye. Go away. Thank you.

[alarm beeps]

Afternoon, everyone.

Oh, I look terrible.

What's up, world?

Hello, everyone.

Right, so it's two o'clock local time.

Kind of have to stay on European time because the race is super late.

Ready for the day.

[shower runs]

[Russell] Oh wow!

Alex taking her breakfast. What do you take for breakfast, baby?

-[Alex] Chicken satay. -But this is for lunch.

-I don't want that for breakfast. -It's 3:00 p.m.

[Albon] There's this photo. This was the top five drivers of karting.

Good old Lando.

He was young, but he also looked really young.

I mean, he looks like a baby.

And obviously, you might know that guy. That's George.

He looks the same, man.

Like, same same.

Back then,

his mum cut his hair.

Charles was very strong in Junior Formulas.

Lando, clearly very strong.

Pierre Gasly.

But in karting, back in my day,

um, I was seen as a bit of a big dog.

[engines roar]

So when I was nine years old to 14,

I had strong success.

[upbeat music plays]

My first ever race that I went to,

I was probably seven at the time,

Alex Albon was there.

I was like, "Who's this guy?"

Alex is one of the reasons I'm racing now.

[Leclerc] I remember when we were karting

and we were dreaming about becoming Formula 1 drivers.

But now we are all here in Formula 1. It's… It's… It's very special.

[music stops]

[Albon] In Formula 1, I've had my setbacks.

A P7, a P6 is a win for me.

Now I see everyone else up front.

That's okay. I have no chip on my shoulder.

It's not like I'm P20. [laughs]

My story is totally different to theirs.

[producer] But aren't you a megastar in Singapore?

Yes.

[upbeat music plays]

[fans clamoring]

[fan 1] Please, please, please, please!

Thank you so much! Thank you!

[fan 2] Oh my God!

[crowd] Albon! Alex! Albon!

Alex! Albon! Alex! Albon!

Megastar is a big word.

But I would say that I'm, um…

I'm more known in Singapore than at other races I go to.

[crowd cheering]

[man 1] Keep going!

-[man 2] Okay. -[Albon] Thank you very much.

It's so good to see this many people.

Particularly in a race that is, for you, a home from home.

-It must be extra special. -It is. It is, it is.

[crowd cheering]

I'm from Thailand, so I consider Singapore my home race.

We're kind of like one big family in Southeast Asia.

Hopefully, I'll do you guys proud, represent Southeast Asia.

And, um, yeah. We'll give it our best. Thank you.

[crowd cheering]

This is pretty special, by the way. Is it a mat?

Is it for me to keep?

Oh, thank you very much.

It would mean a lot to deliver in front of my home fans,

and it would be nice to give them something.

[crowd] Alex! Albon! Alex! Albon!

[upbeat music plays]

[Sainz] So I heard they miked up your girlfriends.

[Leclerc] And?

[Sainz] You're becoming a Kardashian?

[laughs] We are the Kardashians of Formula 1.

[upbeat music plays]

[commentator 1] Welcome to the first practice of the weekend.

-[fan 1] Thanks, Pierre. Good luck. -Thank you.

[fan 2] Lando!

-[fan 3] Good luck today. -Thank you.

[fan 3] Tomorrow.

And today.

I'm not gonna be able to sign because I'm on camera duty.

Give us a wave.

All right, so we're now walking to the press conference.

-How are you doing? -Good. You?

[Russell] Valtteri's already here. Hi, Tom.

[Tom] The influencer's arrived.

This is… Say hello, Oscar.

We'll flip the camera over straight into the Finnish porn star.

Do you feel that you have unfinished business in Singapore?

[dramatic music plays]

[Russell] Last year, I was in second for the majority of the race.

[commentator 2] Mercedes chasing down the win.

[Russell] But I misjudged the corner by a centimeter.

Fuck!

The track in Singapore, sometimes it bites you.

So this year, I can't make a single mistake.

[tense music plays]

[wheel gun whirring]

Practice is the moment where you're kind of getting in your zone.

[Norris] You've just gotta focus on your own driving.

You can't afford to switch off.

You have to use 100% of your brain all the time.

[Norris] Do I have time to go to the toilet?

[Joseph] Uh…

Not really.

[Howard] Let's go, buddy.

[Gasly] Copy.

[exciting music plays]

-[Howard] Let's do some weaving if we can. -Yep.

It's a track that's usually

always suited me.

I always had, um, um, pretty strong finishes there.

-[Howard] How's the balance so far? -[Gasly] The traction's not that great.

[music fades]

That was very, very close.

It's a different story this year.

The… The car, we haven't had that performance in the recent events,

but we still hope we can get something out of it.

[commentator 3] Here comes Alex Albon, driving for Williams.

-It feels fairly positive. -[Urwin] Copy.

[tense music plays]

-[Bozzi] Much better. -[Leclerc] Copy that.

Singapore is one of my favorite tracks of the season.

The feeling of driving on street tracks in general

is incredible.

It's a challenge that I like.

[Joseph] Lando, the Ferraris seem to be going quicker.

[Norris] Confirm.

[tense music continues]

Getting so close to the walls and… judging things correctly,

hitting the bumps at the right angles,

it's like scary, but it's insanely cool at the same time.

[music stops]

[Russell] Not very quick at the moment. Think we need to try something.

[tense music plays]

Last year was a disastrous way to end any race in any weekend.

I'm just going out there to put that aside,

drive as fast as possible.

[music stops]

I'm in the wall.

[Dudley] Are you all right?

[Russell] That was a bit hectic.

[Dudley] Yeah, affirm. Not the best prep.

[somber music plays]

[Russell] It's actually been probably the worst Friday of the season.

Today was surprising how bad it was.

Really got our work cut out to turn it around

ahead of… ahead of qualifying and the race,

otherwise, there's no way we'll be fighting for… for a podium.

[grunting]

[Norris] Gave him a nice one there, didn't you, mate?

-[Norris grunts] -[man] Well, we're getting warmed up.

-How are you feeling about Sunday? -I feel good.

[Fewtrell] Think the Ferraris will be strong? I think Charles will be on it.

You could be under threat.

No threat.

Now we're about

to play some nice padel.

We got some very famous

F1 race winners right here.

You might recognize this guy.

You been playing much?

-[Norris] No. -[Gasly laughs]

-[Gasly] I don't believe that. -[laughs]

[Gasly in French] Come on. We're gonna destroy them.

[in English] Let's go!

[upbeat music plays]

When we get together, you can see everybody wants to win.

Lando is definitely getting his chance

to be, uh, you know, at the top of Formula 1 now with McLaren.

[in French] Ah, shit!

[in English] But for me, it started terribly, the season.

I'm not gonna lie.

We are not getting the results that we need.

[Norris] What a shit shot!

It was so shit! [laughs]

[Gasly] Come on, then.

[producer] Do you find yourself feeling jealous?

No, I'm not jealous. Um…

I just know at the end of the day, I wanna fight with them.

-[Gasly] 15-40. -[Fewtrell] Give me the fucking balls!

-Karma, karma. -[Norris] This racket's shit.

[Gasly] Try again, my friend.

When you're competitive, as I am,

I wake up every day thinking, "There might be a chance today. Somehow."

[music stops]

[Gasly in French] Come on!

-[Norris in English] Fuck a bitch! -[Gasly laughs]

[Norris] I'm going easy. I've got a race tomorrow, got quali.

This guy gives the biggest chat.

-Good game. -See you tomorrow night.

-Tomorrow night? -We miss qualifying. Just straight here.

[laughter]

Beating satisfaction. This is…

Yeah. Winner mentality always remains.

[alarm beeps]

[upbeat music plays]

[Albon] Hey. Very nice.

I've just seen something crazy.

Look at these guys.

[groans] Why is he so far away from his mates?

I bet you he's forgot his sponge.

They're like, "Dave, you idiot!"

"Yeah, sorry, mate."

[upbeat music continues]

[Leclerc] Today is an important day because it's qualifying day.

It doesn't really stress me… whatsoever.

Today is the day that sets up the rest of the weekend.

Qualifying is the one where I want to start to feel a bit more of the nerves.

Uh…

That's all.

[music fades]

[Gasly] Oh man.

Look at this guy!

I just woke up!

[crowd screaming]

How are you feeling to now be here in Singapore with this level of support?

[Leclerc] I'm feeling good. Uh…

It's going to be very tight with McLaren. Everything is possible in qualifying.

Thank you!

In my mind, I'm confident, and you need to be confident,

especially on a track like this.

If you are missing a little bit of confidence,

that's where things are starting to go wrong.

[tense music plays]

[reporter] Here in Singapore,

Lando is firmly putting himself into Driver Championship contention.

[music stops]

[Norris] This year, all of a sudden,

there's the expectation, "You're fighting for a championship."

[fans] Lando! Lando!

[Norris] There is pressure and nerves.

You have all the eyes on you

that are ready to judge you if you make a mistake.

-[fan 1] Lando! -[fan 2] I love you, Lando.

It's not a nice position to be in, mentally, for a driver.

All right, guys. We're at the track.

[tense music plays]

Oh my God, there's too many cameras.

I hate doing this, by the way.

Let's go.

[tense music continues]

-[photographer 1] Hey, Lando. -[photographer 2] Lando!

[Norris] Oh God.

This is the worst bit. I actually hate walking in every morning.

I struggle to do all of the media stuff.

I get shy. I… I… I hate doing it.

Do you think it's now your championship to lose?

It's pretty stupid if you think that.

Are you quite good at not thinking about it?

Yeah, I mean, it's hard

when every question is basically just about that, you know.

I think people need to give Lando a little bit of, uh, bit of space.

I can't imagine how much pressure he's put under.

[music fades]

[inaudible]

[commentator 1] The crowd are ready, and so are we.

Welcome to qualifying.

This is gonna be a really interesting session.

Usually in Singapore, quali's always high intensity.

The next 90 seconds is gonna totally make or break your weekend.

[Dudley] George, I recommend keep doing what you're doing.

-[Russell] Got no fucking grip, mate. -[Dudley] Understood.

[Russell] Having hit the wall in practice,

that put a huge amount of pressure on my shoulders.

Man, I'm really struggling out here.

Just keep working.

-P4. -[Russell] Okay, well, good recovery.

It was a pretty good lap at the end.

Always feeling excited for quali.

[Howard] Okay, Pierre, let's go.

[tense music plays]

[Gasly] I'm really trying to get into my own space.

[Howard] And we can go flat out.

[Gasly] Trying to really nail that lap.

[music stops]

[Howard] P18.

[Gasly] Yeah, very bad.

It's probably the worst one of the year.

[Urwin] Okay, Alex. It's clear to go.

[exciting music plays]

Let's go. Push.

[Albon] Oh man.

Massive rear locking.

[Urwin] That's P11. P11.

[tense music plays]

It's tense, you know?

As much as there is pressure and nerves,

I just need to focus on myself,

achieve my target, which is to qualify at the front.

[commentator 4] Lando Norris on an absolute stonking lap.

-[Joseph] Okay, Lando. This is good. -[Lando] Yeah, all good.

Feeling consistent at the minute.

[commentator 2] Wringing the neck of that McLaren.

[Norris] I can't afford to make a mistake in qualifying.

The target is to win.

[tense music plays]

[man 1] Come on, boy!

[Joseph] Full concentration now.

Okay, Lando. You are currently… first.

-Come on! -Well done!

[Norris] Yeah, well done. Another great lap.

[tense music plays]

[Leclerc] Lando was very fast.

And in Singapore,

I'm usually pretty good in qualifying.

[Bozzi] Start pushing.

[Leclerc] Our whole weekend depends on this lap.

I cannot afford to do any mistakes.

[music stops]

[Adami] Are you okay?

[Sainz] Yeah, I'm okay.

[commentator 1] Carlos Sainz has lost it into the barrier.

There was a… a red flag with… with Carlos, unfortunately.

And so then, everything relies on me.

[tense music plays]

[commentator 1] Lockup on the left front sends him a bit wide there.

[music stops]

[Bozzi] P9.

[Leclerc] For fuck's sake!

That is a very, very shit lap.

[tense music plays]

You were extremely fast in the trainings, now P9.

Is that something you are happy about?

Pretty obvious, of course, we are not happy.

If you do a mistake, that's it, and, uh, that's what I've done.

And I… I paid the price for it by being ninth on the grid for Sunday.

[music stops]

[Norris exhales]

Oh, it's cold.

[cameras shutters click]

I think my knob's gone.

-[man] Wasn't much in the first place. -It's shrunk from six to three.

[laughter]

-[man] Centimeters? -[Lando laughs]

Hello. Good evening. Thank you. Thank you very much.

[in French] I think you can see a part of the circuit.

-[Pascale] It's pretty though. -[Leclerc] There's a full moon.

[Pascale] You have to make a request to the universe.

Ask the universe to give you a podium tomorrow.

[Leclerc] If I get something, it won't be the podium.

[in English] I absolutely hate Saturday nights

when quali hasn't gone the way I… I want

because it just… You're just disappointed.

[in French] What's that Gasly doing to us? He's always late.

[in English] We will order some starters because I think the others will be late.

[cell phone dials]

[in French] Hey, Calamari. Where are you?

We're on the road. We're coming.

[Leclerc] You're always late. Always.

We are on the road.

I told the boss to drive like Charles Leclerc, but he's chilling.

[Leclerc] I'm going to start eating. I don't care.

[both chuckle]

[in English] All right.

I've been friends with Charles for, like, 20 years.

We've been through a lot. Different challenges.

Thank you.

We care about each other's opinions and advice.

And, uh, it's great to have a friend.

[Leclerc] This friendship means a lot to me.

Once you get into Formula 1,

you cannot trust many people.

But with Pierre, it's different.

[in French] There they are!

How's it going, Calamari?

[Gasly] How are you? Kiss.

[man] How do you feel about this weekend?

Mentally, it's so complicated because you have the walls.

A little mistake, but here the consequences are crazy.

It's one of the toughest Grand Prix of the year.

McLaren progressed faster than all of us.

[Gasly] With Lando.

[in English] It's been a very difficult start to the weekend,

but I'm a very optimistic person by nature,

so I'm still extremely motivated to turn that situation around.

Nothing will be finished until the very last lap.

[laughs]

-[Russell laughs] Hello. -Hello.

-You okay? -[Carmen] Yeah, good.

[Russell] Looking good for someone who's just come off a… ten-hour-long flight.

Ten hours! I've been traveling for 18 hours.

[Russell] Looking very nice for someone who's been traveling for 18 hours.

That's very kind of you.

Carmen brings me

stability when it comes to racing, and also a way to… disconnect.

If we were being authentic, Carmen would be skinny-dipping here.

As I always do.

But as we have company…

Jump in.

[Carmen] Oh, that's good.

[Russell] It was like a bloody roller coaster today.

So slow at the start, and we qualified fourth.

I'm pretty happy with that.

Are you ready for tomorrow?

[Russell] It's gonna be hell.

Know what my body temperature was in practice yesterday?

I was 37 degrees body temperature before, which is normal.

And then 40 degrees by the end of the session.

It's like you're in a sauna,

but the sauna's getting hotter the longer you stay in it.

[Carmen] How many laps?

I actually do not know.

[both laugh]

-I just keep driving around. -[Carmen] The race is tomorrow.

You should know this.

[Russell] I just keep driving until they tell me.

Basically.

-[Russell] Well-- -Or until you faint.

Self-documentary on the way, so… Hey, guys.

-How are you doing, guys? -Hi, George.

-[Russell] Hello. -Hi, George. How are you?

[Russell] Hey, guys. Hey, guys.

All right, it's race day.

Walking in on the way to the drivers' parade.

-Hello. -Hi.

[Russell] Hello. Hello. Hello.

Stinky and sweaty already.

I like your, uh, balaclava.

[tense music plays]

Singapore is always mayhem, and that does bring excitement.

[Gasly] You have a lot of people. You got the fans.

Everything is very energetic.

There's nowhere to stay away from the spotlight.

The excitement, the nerves… It's a pretty crazy moment.

[music stops]

How are you feeling, Max? We reckon you and Lando on the top.

-Intermediates. -Intermediates?

-[Verstappen] Just for the launch. -I don't think that's a good strategy.

I think he'll be on the softs.

I think he'll start on the hard. He likes to be hard.

-Yeah. -Who doesn't?

[Russell] You like a hard-on, don't you?

[Leclerc] During the drivers' parade,

you start to analyze how everybody feels going into the race.

[crowd cheering]

And you can already see who has a lot of confidence,

who maybe has a little less confidence. Um…

And this you can see with behaviors.

Here he is. The happy guy. The only happy guy.

-Why? -You are P1, mate.

He's not happy, and he's on pole.

[Norris] I'm a very conscious person.

At times, caring too much about what people think.

-Um, sometimes too much. -Barcelona last year.

You guys have been so quick. Just need to get that start right today.

[Norris] It is like noise,

but it's dealing with that noise in the best way possible.

My best opportunity to do that

is win the race.

[tense music plays]

[music stops]

[crowd cheering]

[commentator 3] Welcome along to the Singapore Grand Prix.

[tense music plays]

[commentator 4] In these temperatures, it'll be a tough night of driving.

[Gasly] It's hot. Wow!

[music stops]

[Russell] It's 30-odd degrees out there, almost 90% humidity.

[tense music plays]

We're about to go out for two hours. You're already dripping in sweat.

So you know this is gonna be a tough race.

[music fades]

[Albon] If we have a good start, we'll be okay.

[man] Yeah.

[crowd] Albon! Alex! Albon! Alex! Albon!

[Albon] Being a home race, there was a weird sense of pressure.

Like, "Okay, you've gotta perform."

[tense music plays]

[Gasly] As competitive as I am,

I should not be at the back of the field.

I wanna fight at the front.

[Leclerc] It's always better to be starting front of the grid.

I need to turn the page very, very quickly and move on.

[Russell] My aims are simple.

Finish on the podium again,

and try not to crash into any walls.

[Norris] Starting on pole,

I can't afford to make a mistake because you normally pay the price.

[music stops]

[commentator 1] Good reaction time for Lando Norris.

[man] Go on, Lando! Yes!

[tense music plays]

[commentator 1] Good start from Charles Leclerc.

Going wide there, Alex Albon, into 15th.

[Albon] I'm massively down.

[commentator 2] Little bit of a kerfuffle going on down at turn one.

[Dudley] This pace is really good, George.

[Howard] Okay, Pierre, looking good.

[Joseph] Lando, you are on target.

[Norris] Yeah, loud and clear.

[music stops]

[Bozzi] You are P8. Alonso ahead.

[commentator 5] Leclerc really needs to move if his race is gonna pan out

with anywhere close to the podium.

[tense music plays]

[commentator 3] Charles Leclerc's got past Fernando Alonso.

[Bozzi] Our race is from now on. Let's go.

[tense music continues]

[Howard] Okay, Pierre, so Albon is the car ahead.

Start increasing the pace.

[Urwin] Okay, Alex.

Adjust to mode push.

[Howard] You should catch these guys ahead.

Let's go, buddy.

[commentator 3] The temperature, 37 degrees.

That is the hottest the track has been at this time of night.

[tense music continues]

[Urwin] Alex, temperatures are now hot.

[Albon] I don't get it.

-[Urwin] So we have a cooling issue. -[Albon] Yeah, so what do we wanna do?

[Urwin] Just start managing.

[Howard] Okay, Pierre, Albon is vulnerable.

Overtake is available.

[Gasly] I got no traction, man.

[Howard] You have what you've got. We have nothing else to give.

[music stops]

[Gasly] I hit the wall.

Look how far behind I am.

[commentator 2] And the Haas goes through, as Gasly tumbles down to 19th.

-Alex Albon pressing Kevin Magnussen. -That's it! Move!

[Urwin] Alex, we have a problem.

[Albon] Push or not?

-[Urwin] Negative, negative. -[Albon] Just do nothing?

[Urwin] You're gonna have to back off.

[commentator 1] And Alex Albon looks to be limping around the track a little bit.

[Urwin] We have to box this lap. Everything's too hot.

[Albon sarcastically] Brilliant race.

[commentator 5] This is retirement. What a disappointment.

The Singapore Grand Prix is so important to Alex.

The closest race of the year to Thailand, of course, where his family is from.

[Urwin] Okay, sorry for that. Try and protect what we've got.

[Albon] Okay. Should've just taken a new engine.

[somber music plays]

Honestly, yeah, it's frustrating.

When I think about every category I ever raced in,

it was always to win.

And, of course, I want to win. It's just going to take that acceptance.

[music fades]

[commentator 1] With hot conditions, mistakes can happen and things can change.

[Bozzi] Russell is ahead.

Let's push. Push, push.

[tense music plays]

[Dudley] Leclerc now car behind.

[Bozzi] If you keep this pace, we should catch Russell.

Keep doing what you're doing.

[Russell] Towards the end of the race, I've got Charles closing in on me.

You don't even really comprehend the heat from the engine.

I can't describe how hot it is, guys.

You feel dizzy,

mentally and physically.

[tense music continues]

Just kissed the wall.

I just need to keep on pushing.

[commentator 3] Good driving from Russell to maintain this fourth place.

[commentator 2] Lando Norris not too far away from a third Grand Prix victory.

[Joseph] Okay, Lando, this gap is good. Just chill out. Bring the car home.

[tense music continues]

[music stops]

-[commentator 3] Ooh, he hit the wall. -[commentator 4] Yeah.

[Joseph] Lando, how does the car feel to you?

-[Norris] Maybe front wing damage. -[Joseph] Be careful.

[commentator 4] Wow. Lucky escape.

[Lambiase] Final lap, Max.

[commentator 3] Can Max Verstappen charge now to the end of the race?

-[Lambiase] This is good, Max. Keep it up. -[Verstappen] We have to keep pushing.

[tense music plays]

[Joseph] This is the last lap.

Full concentration now.

-[man 1] Last lap. -[man 2] Here we go.

[commentator 3] Charles Leclerc fighting George Russell.

[Bozzi] And last lap, last lap.

[Dudley] George, just keep doing what you're doing.

[Russell] I'm driving as fast as possible.

It's like a sauna in here, mate.

[commentator 3] Is there a move coming?

[Bozzi] It's tight. Keep full throttle.

[music fades]

[commentator 3] Lando Norris wins the Singapore Grand Prix.

[triumphant music plays]

[Joseph] Well done, mate. Good job.

[Norris] Yeah, lovely jubbly.

Amazing car all weekend. Thank you very much, everyone.

One of many more. Let's keep pushing.

[commentator 3] Russell takes fourth place,

ahead of the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc.

[Bozzi] And P5.

-You tried your best. It was good. -[Leclerc] Copy.

[Dudley] Great job, that. P4 in the end.

[music fades]

[Russell sighs]

[Russell] I need a bath. I am toasty.

[Howard] Okay, Pierre. That's the checkered flag. P17.

Tough day out there, mate. Sorry about that.

[Gasly] Please look at the car.

Just find a way to make it faster because it's not okay.

It's not good enough.

[Norris] Winning in Singapore was definitely, uh…

Yeah, no, it's a… it's a very special moment.

And I'm happy. Then I'm like… [sighs] …I can breathe.

I always have my doubts. [chuckles]

I doubt a lot in my life, but

I have that confidence, then

I think it's… it's hard to…

I think it's hard to beat me.

It's just getting…

The worst race ever.

-[somber music plays] -[Gasly sighs]

It's like I'm fighting my fucking ass off.

I am fighting every corner.

I have no grip. I'm like…

It's tough seeing,

you know, the guys I used to race my entire life in karting,

Charles, Lando, George,

fighting for podiums.

Oh man, it fucking piss me off.

I know I'm as fast as most of them,

and I'm obviously hoping to be, uh, fighting with them

like we used to in karting.

And knowing that at some point, I'll get the car I need

to, uh, display, um, you know, my full potential.

[music fades]

[Albon] Not the Sunday we wanted.

It leaves a sour taste in my mouth, but, um, I hope you guys enjoyed.

I'm talking like I'm a YouTuber. [chuckles]

[somber music plays]

Final diary cam.

Thank God! [laughs]

[Leclerc] Mixed feelings, but happy about today.

However, of course, we are losing points to McLaren,

but we will keep going.

Still six races to go, so anything is possible,

and we'll do the math at the end of the year.

[crowd screaming]

[Russell] Brutal race.

[man] Hello!

-I don't feel good. -Everybody's struggling.

All my skin's, like, tingling.

Hold on. Wait.

There.

[tense music plays]

It was 60 degrees in there.

[woman] Oh my God.

I feel really sick.

[music fades]

[man] Okay. Slow… Slow the breathing. Slow the breathing, slow the breathing.

-[Russell breathes deeply] -[man] Slow the… That's it, that's it.

Okay?

[Russell] My body totally overheated.

I lost four kilos in that race.

[somber music plays]

It's only afterwards when you get out and you're…

You recognize "that was pretty serious, what we all did there."

Mm.

-Oh. -[Russell] Another race done.

Another race done.

I think that sort of hit me a little bit.

-I'll sleep well tonight. -[Carmen] Yeah.

Yeah, you need it.

And that's racing.

[music fades]

[man] See you down the party?

[Norris] No, I'm going home.

[woman] Well done. See you later.

Champagne hair.

Champagne hair means one thing. Podium!

Amazing. Amazing weekend.

My most dominant weekend that I've ever done.

Thank you.

I'm more just, like, focused and in the zone

than I probably ever have been before.

I'm fighting for a world championship.

Like, this is… this is history.

This is one of the biggest things in the world.

Like, this is, you know, it's my life.

[rock music plays]

You motherfuckers. I'm so happy I'm leaving you.

[man] Lando!

Actually, I'm flying home with Max, so… bros!

Bye, everyone.

[music fades]

[Bird] We're out, Checo.

Checo's form has taken a dive. We can't rely just on one car.

-[Pérez] Oh fuck. -I am here for one reason only.

To get back to Red Bull. Fuck it, why not go all-in?

But Daniel's got serious competition.

[Lawson] Fuck, that's so fast.

I'm not here to make friends.

We're fighting with Haas to be P6.

-What's your name? -Ayao.

You finish sixth place in the Constructors' Championship,

you're taking home tens of millions of dollars.

[Gasly] What the fuck?!

[commentator 3] Hülkenberg goes off.

[Hülkenberg] Gotta be fucking shitting me.

[upbeat music plays]

[music fades]
