[Love of Petals]

[Episode 7]

Lyu Gengyun, you're indeed capable.

You saw through it in such a short time.

Unfortunately,

you can't

crack it.

Ya Zi,

I'll avenge you

for what happened on the 7th day of March of the lunar calendar.

Master,

help!

Gu Qingcheng?

Why is there a mess?

Master.

Master.

Gu Qingcheng!

Master.

Master.

Without the Flower Spirit,

my spiritual power is increasingly unstable.

Master.

Master.

Master.

Where are we?

Where is this place?

This is...

What's going on here?

Why have all these people become like this?

Gu Qingcheng,

you need to leave here first.

Master,

why are there strange meridians appearing on your body?

Leave here.

I'll tell you what happened later.

Master, are you feeling unwell?

Were you injured just now?

Gu Qingcheng!

You can't help me.

Master,

leave with me.

Go.

Master.

Don't you understand?

Master, aren't you coming with me?

Leave now.

Go home.

Why was Master full of anger suddenly?

In addition, he was so...

Pingkang.

Qingcheng, what are you doing here?

I finally found you.

Why did you come to the Tianxiang House?

There is something strange here.

Stop talking. We need to leave quickly.

Lyu Gengyun has fallen into the trap.

I think you two mortals

won't be able to make any trouble.

I should go back and help Master.

Where are we?

I don't know.

Pingkang, what's that sound?

What's this?

Why is there blood?

Let's take a look.

Okay.

Miss.

It is cruel.

Pingkang, I can't open it.

She's dangerous.

What demon has lured me here?

Lyu Gengyun,

I shouldn't underestimate you.

What a pity!

Though you have broken through my illusion,

you can't resist the power of my Poisonous Spider Silk.

If you don't show up,

I'll destroy the Tianxiang House.

Lyu Gengyun,

your demonic aura can no longer be suppressed.

I was wondering why this Tianxiang House reeks of fox.

It turns out that the mastermind

is a Jade-Eyed Fox.

Naughty.

[Shan Xiao, ape demon]

[It's called Shan Xiao. When people throw bamboo into the fire, bamboo will burst. The sound would scare Shan Xiao, the ape demon. It would flee.]

[Shan Xiao is a kind of beast in the deep mountain in the west. He's short and fearless of people. If you offend him, he will give you chills and fever.]

This is a deer demon,

which is extremely dangerous.

She's badly injured.

How can she be dangerous?

A demon is also a living being.

Yes.

But we can't let her go.

You can do it.

[Shi Huai, a thousand-year-old bird demon]

Hurry.

Slow down.

Hold on, Miss.

Come on.

Open the door.

-Miss. -Miss.

Miss, wake up.

Miss.

Miss.

Miss.

Let go.

We're not bad people.

We're not bad people.

We're not bad people.

We're here to help you.

We're here to help you.

Let go. Let go.

Pingkang, are you okay?

Master?

Why do you have the smell of Master?

What did you do to him?

Who's your master?

Her master is

Lyu Gengyun.

Say it!

I didn't do anything to him.

I came with Master to look for Pingkang.

Master is here too?

I was

trapped by spider silk just now.

Master arrived in time and saved me.

Spider silk?

Oh no!

What's wrong?

The spider silk is highly poisonous.

It's a trap

for Master.

What?

Miss.

Lyu Gengyun,

my Poisonous Spider Silk is powerful, right?

Every time you use your spiritual power,

you'll suffer like ants gnawing your bones and heart.

It feels bad, right?

By the way,

did your mother

tell you

what exactly happened on the 7th day of March of the lunar calendar?

Shut up!

Well, then,

let me tell you about it.

You, the Demon King's son, are indeed powerful.

Stop trying to escape.

The more you use your inner power,

the more it will backfire on you.

Anyway,

you're doomed.

I can kill you

easily.

Master,

the spider silk is poisonous!

Flower Spirit?

How could this be?

Master.

Master.

Are you okay?

Master.

What happened to me?

What happened?

Lyu Gengyun's Flower Spirit

is in the body of that girl.

Master,

we can't kill them now.

We shouldn't linger in battle.

Leave here now.

Master.

You killed so many citizens of Pingcheng.

How could I let you go so easily?

Stop!

How dare you cross the line

to capture demons?

Lyu Gengyun,

don't celebrate too soon.

Many people died because of you.

Someone will kill you on our behalf.

Lyu Gengyun.

Immortal Qin Shan.

You came at just the right time, huh?

Lyu Gengyun,

do you

remember who you are?

Who am I?

You came here right after

I found out

the culprit of the Tianxiang House incident.

You're good at taking advantage of others' work.

You're a half-demon.

I didn't expect that you could survive

after your spiritual root was destroyed.

You don't repent

or focus on cultivation

but wander in the world of mortals.

What do you want to do?

None of your business.

Half-demon?

Isn't Master

the Flowers Immortal Lord?

Show some respect.

I have been ordered to guard the Heavenly Gate

for the peace of the three worlds.

I will fulfill my duties diligently.

If there are any destabilizing factors,

I will intervene,

especially you

and these demons.

We didn't do anything evil.

We…

We were captured here.

Excuses.

Your Excellency,

I can testify for them.

They

do not have evil intentions.

Who are you?

I'm just a citizen of Pingcheng.

But I can testify that

these minor demons were all

captured by a powerful demon and imprisoned in the Tianxiang House.

They are innocent.

Nevertheless,

they followed the Jade-Eyed Fox

and made trouble in the area.

Shouldn't they be punished?

Is there a reward for

you immortals to catch demons?

Why do you make things difficult for them?

Nonsense!

I am carrying out Heaven's will

to eliminate threats to human beings.

I was a Lonely Bird.

I was captured and abused by the Jade-Eyed Fox.

He forced me to entertain others.

When we were suffering torment,

where were you immortals?

Qiansi controlled us with poison,

forcing us to nourish her with mortals' essence.

If we were the least bit careless,

she would beat us up,

almost killing us.

Your Excellency,

did you

ever think of coming to rescue us?

The Jade-Eyed Fox has been doing evil for so long,

why didn't you immortals

come to punish him?

Your Excellency,

please give them another chance.

They

won't do this again.

I will investigate what the Jade-Eyed Fox has done

and punish him severely.

But right now, you demons have no master.

Considering the safety of the people,

I will not have mercy on you.

Who says they do not have a master?

I, Lyu Gengyun,

will be their new master.

Are you determined to be my enemy?

I never want to be anyone's enemy.

Qin Shan,

it's widely known that you're upright and impartial,

and you are strict in enforcing the law.

They've been beaten and abused.

It could be considered as atonement for their sins.

What about handing them over to me?

If they commit any crimes,

you can punish them then.

Alright.

You offered to vouch for them.

If these demons

cause any trouble

and endanger the world of mortals,

you should bear the responsibility.

It's a deal.

Why did Master deceive me?

I trusted him so much.

He knew

how much I longed to meet the Flowers Immortal Lord.

Why did he deceive me?

[Tianxiang House]

♫Get love in the world of mortals♫

♫Listen to the words of flowers through the years♫

Master,

don't

you have anything to say to me?

♫Having eye contact with you, it's like we've gone back to the moment we first met♫

What?

Thank you for risking your life to save me just now?

♫I fell in love with you at first glance. I've been looking for you for thousands of years♫

That's not what I meant, Master.

No.

♫Wind follows water, asking the flower spirit♫

Who are you?

♫Years pass, yet we are fortunate to reunite♫

Haven't you already known who I am?

So, you aren't the Flowers Immortal Lord?

♫A blessed land, moonlight shines on two shadows♫

Then,

why did you impersonate him and deceive me?

I never said I am the Flowers Immortal Lord.

♫Love fills the city, inseparable like shadows♫

You insisted on taking me as your master.

♫Evergreen like the bond we share♫

Do you know how important this was to me?

♫Liuli grass sways, carrying my longing♫

♫Fate turns, time flows like a waterwheel♫

♫Peonies bloom, stars shine deep in the clouds♫

♫Evergreen like the bond we share♫

Your Majesty,

I dare not

accept your gift.

♫Liuli grass sways, carrying my longing♫

♫Fate turns, time flows like a waterwheel♫

Qingcheng.

Mr. Lyu,

that lady woke up.

♫Peonies bloom, stars shine deep in the clouds♫

♫Seasons change, but my love for you stays♫

♫A gentle smile binds our hearts forever♫

♫Cicadas in summer, snow in winter, our souls rest in dawn and dusk♫

Master.

♫Through countless journeys, we cherish each other still♫

Who injured you?

I...

I went to the graveyard as usual

to visit Master

but I couldn't find your body.

The Crow Demon said

your had been dug up and taken away by someone.

Ye You followed that person.

So, I searched everywhere for you guys.

However,

I

had caught the eye of the Jade-Eyed Fox.

He knew that I love eating precious herbs.

So, he deliberately used the Black-jointed Grass as bait to trap me.

I noticed something was wrong

and fled into a courtyard with the grass.

But they caught me.

[Sun's Mansion]

The Black-jointed Grass

was left in that courtyard.

Day after day,

he took my blood

to attract customers

and drain their energy.

He sent the high-quality deer blood

and the freshly extracted energy

to that person

to aid his cultivation.

[Deer's blood can help cure mania, severe injuries, nosebleeds and erectile dysfunction, nourish Qi and blood, and relieve back pain.]

The Tianxiang House

has an even greater conspiracy.

-Miss. -Miss.

Miss!

What's wrong with her?

Miss!

What's wrong with you?

I mean,

what's wrong with her?

Her spiritual power is exhausted.

She needs to recuperate in a place full of flowers and plants.

My home...

The flower garden in my mansion is a good place for her.

-Okay. -Okay.

That's fine.

After I settle things here,

I'll pick her up.

Mr. Lyu,

aren't you coming back with us?

I have other matters to attend to.

You can go back first.

Forget it, Pingkang.

He's now

the leader of demons.

Naturally, he looks down on

our flower garden.

Mr. Lyu is not that kind of person...

demon.

Then, let's take the lady back first.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Qingcheng.

I'm sorry.

It's all because of me

that you and Mr. Lyu

are in such an awkward situation.

If it weren't for me...

Pingkang,

what you said is wrong.

This isn't your fault.

What are you thinking about?

Are you thinking about Mr. Lyu?

No.

I'm not thinking about him.

Pingkang,

when do you think

I can meet the real Flowers Immortal Lord?

When will I...

You will.

Yes.

Her clothes are covered in blood.

What should we do?

Never mind.

I'll go to the Sun's Mansion later and get her new clothes.

They have left?

You just let her leave?

All my life,

I've never kept anyone.

You lost your Flower Spirit.

You must have lost a lot of energy in the intensive battle.

And you've been poisoned by the Spider Venom.

You should go to the flower garden at the Sun's Mansion to recover.

Why didn't you go with them?

I'm not the supreme immortal in her heart.

I'm just a despicable demon.

She surely doesn't want me to go back.

Women are soft-hearted.

Why don't you apologize?

Apologize?

Yes.

You hid the truth in the first place.

You should say sorry to her.

You think so highly of her.

Why don't you go back with her?

I have to follow you.

It has been five hundred years.

I've watched you bloom.

Then, you should follow her back to the Sun's Mansion

to keep an eye on her.

After all, my Flower Spirit is in her body.

To restore my immortal root,

the Flower Spirit is crucial.

There must be no mistakes.

Well...

You know,

it has been so long

but you haven't told me

what exactly you're restoring the immortal root for.

Do you want to fight back to Heaven?

I am curious.

I am just curious.

With

your cultivation,

not to mention the past,

even now,

few men could be your match.

And the minor demons of the Tianxiang House

are your subordinates.

Are you going to follow your father's path

to be the Demon King?

I just want

to know the truth.

By the way,

did your mother tell you

what exactly happened on the 7th day of March of the lunar calendar?

Let's go.

My Lord.

Why are you still here?

My Lord,

from now on,

you are our master.

I said I would be your master

in front of Qin Shan

just to save you guys.

Now you are free.

You can go wherever you want.

We'll

follow you.

Sir,

the Tianxiang House was destroyed.

We have no shelter,

and our lives are in danger.

Please let us follow you.

My Lord,

you are kind to us.

We'll follow you from now on.

If you disagree,

we won't get up.

Mr. Lyu said

he would come back to pick up this lady

after they find a new place to stay.

Should we

help them look for a place?

No.

Are you still angry with Mr. Lyu

as he deceived you?

Or are you still bothered

that he's a demon?

What he is has nothing to do with me.

He's

a liar.

Mr. Lyu and I were strangers.

His spiritual power is so high.

But

he was willing to do so many things

to prove my innocence.

I think

you know

him better than I do.

I...

Though he deceived you,

he was by your side.

I think

he must have some reasons.

How is it?

How much longer do we have to walk?

We're almost there.

Okay, okay.

Shi Huai,

you need to keep an eye on Hong.

Don't let it fall or get hurt.

You don't care about all this luggage

but a chicken?

It's my dude who accompanied me.

One day, it will also succeed in cultivation.

Okay.

Master, I don't understand

why we are moving to this place?

The Tianxiang House

was too conspicuous in the bustling city.

Your master

is afraid that you'll be exposed.

He found a quiet place

where everyone can relax.

Master is thoughtful.

Here we are.

Look to the right.

Great!

Great!

Good. That's wonderful!

There are so many flowers here!

Well done.

It took me a long time to find such a place.

Master, is...

Is this our new home?

It's a place

close to mountains and waters, having a mild climate.

It's very suitable for you.

Yes.

From now on,

we will dedicate our life

to serving you.

We will obey your every word from now on.

Thank you for giving us a home.

Please stand up.

There's a saying in the world of mortals.

A man's dignity is as valuable as gold.

It also can be applied to demons.

I saved you

because I want you

to live with dignity,

not to bow and scrape

to anyone.

Get up.

We will do as you say, Master.

I have only one requirement

for all of you.

Do no evil.

We will follow your words, Master.

We will never do evil.

We will never do evil.

Alright,

come in and see your new home.

Choose the places you like.

Okay.

Good.

Let's go.

These rooms are for you.

The kitchen is over there.

This is the loo.

[Lan An, a thousand-year-old tree demon]

Lan An.

I'm here.
