So this is the last drive
I'll ever make to the club.

to control the mob right now.

than working in a bar.

I'm ready to leave now and not come back.

Great way to finish a weekend at Tequila.

Have a manager that's all pissy.

Unfortunately the end is near.

It's time to grow up.

We've had a miraculous run,
many good times.

I wouldn't have done it any differently.

I've been here since the beginning

when it was absolutely amazing,

and for whatever reasons, it's dying off.

I'm sad to see the club coming to an end.

It's been like my second home
and I'm not ready for it to close.

We weren't quite making enough money
to really make it worthwhile to keep

and we've really decided
to just let it go, put it for sale.

We've had a great run
and it's been an amazing year,

and running the club alone
was a great experience for me.

But I'm really tired,
my patience has run out,

and it's just that time to close.

So if we have to close the doors,
it's important we go out big,

and we need to have a banger
like the old days.

We better go out with a banger, I think,
and let's do it.

For our last big party,
we're gonna throw a bush party.

1,500 students out the bush,
we're gonna bus them all out

and throw the best party
we've had all year.

We've got about 30 hours to turn
this place from a horse corral

into a 20,000 square foot nightclub.

We start from scratch.

We build it, build a stage,
we have to build a dance floor,

35-foot-long bars,
bring in a sound system, food.

The trailer I want right there,
with the beer and mix in it.

It's a massive party
and a massive undertaking.

So we asked one of our most
reliable staff members,

Aaron, to really help us
on this last night.

I'm Aaron, bouncer, handyman,
jack of all trades.

Just adrenaline rush.

You may not see me involved in
as much stuff around here,

but I'm always in the background
doing something.

You just didn't listen to instructions.

You didn't give me instructions.

The bottom line is listen, listen.

You take Simon
and how stressed out Simon is,

and you times it by about three
and you get Aaron.

Chunk and I, we've developed
this love-hate relationship.

He loves to yell at me and I hate it.

He's real good at giving
you disorganized lists

and then sitting back
and watching everybody just explode.

We've got our big closing
for summer party on the weekend

and I want you to throw down
with Justin on Friday.

-This weekend's your last weekend?
-Yeah.

We're closing in to the last finale.

Chunk will be taking care of
operations at the outdoor bash,

alongside a club party here
that Layna and I are gonna man.

We'll bring all the boys out
and throw a big banger on Friday.

Yeah, for sure. I'll spread the word.

I have to make sure I have my DJs
on board, my staff all set up,

and make sure I have my inventory
and everything else in order.

Si, I'm in a situation where
I gotta get these busses running

or we're not gonna be able
to transport everybody

out to the bush party.

This is more of that vandalism

and repair for the bush party.

Have to get this glass cleaned up,
get some new windows ordered

and get them put in here,
hopefully this week.

Well the black one
had someone living in it.

I cleaned that, too.

They found a whole bunch
of used needles in it.

They cut the battery cable,
stole the batteries.

This is some of the stuff
we find on our busses.

We gotta be careful
when cleaning the busses out

'cause homeless people
every once in a while

tend to use them as a place to sleep.

I don't get paid enough for this.

-She's belching smoke pretty heavy.

-Yep.

I had so much fun today.

I am covered in diesel fuel
and I'm greasy and oily.

All for the love of the bar.

But we will have busses,
they'll be going.

Tequila's last night is coming up,
combined with a massive bush party.

So, I'm just coming in to check inventory
and see if paychecks are ready.

And we still got a whole lot of nothing.

There's practically no liquor in the club.

I'll double tell Simon
anything that we do need

and hopefully it comes
this weekend or we're screwed.

It's great that Chunk and Simon
have decided to sell the bar,

but I really wish they would remember
that it's not closed yet.

Oh, what is going on?

Tequila Nightclub.

Payroll hasn't been done.

We haven't been paid
for probably two checks now.

Personally, like,
I'm not gonna work for free.

I'm really just trying to
get through the weekend

and end my time here on a good note.

to start pulling up

and should be chaos here by about 8:00.

Nobody gave me full instructions
of what's going on.

It is getting stressful.

I've been going steady
since early this morning.

Aaron's always a stress basket.

That beer tub's gotta get filled
and a then bus tubs.

This should be the end
of everything coming out.

so hopefully this is my last trip.

another trip back to the city

to pick up more stuff.

The mob from the bush party
is about to be passing through.

As I'm setting up the bar,

I notice that there's practically
no liquor in the club.

another Malibu.

We got Tequila and Malibu.
Make your choice.

Simon, I'm sure hoping his SUV
is stocked to the roof

because there's still nothing
and I'm stressed.

Do you know where we might
have a receipt book?

You know what?

If you don't do it yourself,
it's probably not gonna get done.

I don't think we have enough booze.

We'll fight through.

Obviously I didn't bring
more booze with me

because I wanted to get rid
of everything that we had.

So it's just bringing people in
and selling all that...

rather than worrying
about if we have enough.

If we get a killer busy night,

they're gonna be drinking Malibu tonight.

Tonight's the final night at Tequila's.

I don't think it'll ever open again.

So this is the last drive
I'll ever make to the club.

I hope the bar does well tonight.

I hope there's no issues.

I hope that we can end this chapter
of Tequila's in a good way.

It's bush party night.

I got masses of kids showing up,

and it's my job to get them lined up,

onto the bus in orderly fashion

and get them shipped out to the bush.

Hey, people, the bus is leaving.

The night's going well,
getting on the buses,

but the crowd is starting to amass
and starting to pile up.

John, how many more?

We're running a little behind schedule.

Okay, come on out, people.

Crowd's getting a little unruly.

The busses aren't running
as fast as we wanted them to.

Tell them to move.

We had two break down,
and one lost fourth and fifth gear.

So we've got a top speed
of about 40 kilometers an hour.

Can I work M2 tonight?

-You wanna work M2 tonight?
-Yeah.

It's the last night.

Can you work M1, too?

So after we get all the college people
onto the busses

to go out to the bush party,

Layna confronts me to take
the top M1 bar spot for herself.

I'd rather let you work kitchen.

Why would I want to work kitchen?

Fine, I'll work M1, I thought I'd ask.

I feel I've put
a lot of time into Tequila

for managing, coming in early,
putting in extra hours,

that for our last night
I deserved to work

on the busy side of the bar.

I'll bite my tongue and whatever.

I can't believe you'd be a baby

That's like me on my last night

trying to make an extra 200 bucks
and go, you know what, guys,

I'm bartending M2 tonight.

It's just frustrating
when I really don't ask for much.

which we knew was gonna happen.

One bus is just a lemon.

Now we're starting to throw a good party.

So Aaron, for the years past,
he's been our runner.

He's been the guy that runs
and grabs us stuff during the night.

Not literally runs, he drives his truck.

I asked you,
you never said anything, you walked away.

I don't have my keys to the drink.

I was like, "Aaron, we're out of tequila."

"Can you just go grab half a case
of tequila?"

Run into Tequila and grab a half a case.

All I need is tequila.

I'm gonna take a quick look and I'll send
you a text if there's something else.

And he looked at me
and he didn't come out with his truck.

He came out on a bus.

He forgot his truck this time.

Seriously, of all the things you forgot,

Chunk gets very upset, yelling at me

about how I was supposed
to have my own vehicle,

and that I have to go back
and he doesn't care how.

He told me take a bus.

Now he's saying,
"No, I told you to take your truck out."

A lot of drunk disorderly

causing a little bit of mayhem,

and I should actually be there
helping control things.

Got two fights, one porter's

It's very frustrating sometimes
having to do these errands,

because now when I got back
to see him with what I've got,

he's just gonna get even more irate.

Everybody's loading out.

It's a really calm night
and here comes stress basket.

Here we go.

Simon left bar.
The only person there is Kevin.

He wants the doorman to come back.
He wants me to come back.

Come the end of the night I was stressed

just from trying to keep
everything operating smoothly.

Just run ragged all week.

It was starting to catch up to me.

I appreciate all you do, but don't
over think things. Quit stressing.

I was on my way back to the club
because Simon wanted me back there.

I was on the bus to go back.

Aaron's stress finally
got to me a little bit,

but I wanted him to know
that I appreciated his hard work

and everything he did those
last couple days.

He really gave it his best.

when you haven't slept for a while,

and puts a lot of my shoulders.

It's the end of the night and I decide
a grudge isn't worth holding,

so I decide to drop it, have a good time,

and end on a good note like I wanted to.

We had a very good party.

It got a little out of hand
with shirts being ripped off.

Overall it was a really fun night.

Let's call it a night.

I want to have some fun.

The real party ended up
being at the bush party.

Not many people showed up,

but regardless, the staff's like family

and we're gonna have a good time

with people around us or not.

Let's shut the cameras off,

So the club's for sale now

and it's time for us to get paid back,

you know, a few,
a few of the loans we've done

and our original investment,

and get our money back out of the place

and start a new chapter.

With Tequila's closing,
and, I'm rather sad.

I've been here a long time,
it's like my second home.

And now I won't know
what to do with myself.

My life's about to get pretty busy here.

Got a kid on the way,

and it'll probably keep me out
of every nightclub in Saskatoon now.

I'm going back to school.

I'm studying occupational
health and safety.

So I'm looking forward to graduating

and moving on to a career,

and putting these late nights behind me.

So I've been told I have to grow up

and move on in life and settle down.

I'm gonna miss this place.

We've had some pretty crazy parties,
some amazing times.

I've met so many people.

And I wouldn't have done it
any differently.

I'll never grow up.

the rest of my life, just a drunk.
