the way they're growing,

gonna spend a couple of days in your town.

a proper deputy for this town,

and he's just convinced me
that he and guns were strangers.

in the prizefighting game.

We had a big, powerful pugilist

we named the Tinsmith
who'd been pretty lucky for us.

Out of 12 matches,
not one of his opponents

had managed to last
more than a minute.

About the time it was getting
pretty hard to find anybody

brave enough to get
in the ring with him,

we heard about a young
policeman named Hogan.

Not only was he willing
to meet our boy,

but the word got around that
Hogan had a secret weapon.

We set up the match on Staten
Island, where it wasn't likely

we'd have any interference
from the police.
