In the strangest way,
I feel like the universe,

or Lexi Love, I should say,
placed this role in my lap.

I'm so grateful, I mean,
I feel like it's

going to allow me
to loosen up, you know,

release
my evil wicked witch side.

I, like, found myself doing
musical theater, you know?

- I grew up in a small,
conservative town,

and I always felt
a little bit like

I couldn't be myself fully.

I was always asked
to butch it up or be

a little less flamboyant.

I was forced to play
sports growing up.

- Yeah.

- And then, in high school,
we did "Little Mermaid"

and I played Ursula.

- It was like my
world opened up.

For the first time,
I was able to fully

embrace the full drag fantasy.

I was so terrified, too,
because I was like,

bullied a lot
for being out and gay.

And the football team
and everyone

was out in the
auditorium watching,

and I just knew they were
going to give me hell.

But for the most part,
they lived.

They got the life.

- They got the life!

- I was very sad
a lot of my life

because I had to
suppress who I was.

But now that I'm able
to go balls to the walls,

gay, gay, gay, gay, gay,
I'm living on cloud nine.

here in my neck of the woods?

- I want to see
how you're doing.

- We're talking about,
you know, like childhood life.

- I used to be a big, ugly girl.

the toilet many times or, like,

passing out in the shower.

eight months old,

I was diagnosed
with cystic fibrosis.

and at the time,
the life expectancy was

that I wouldn't live
past high school.

We always had to do
a lot of treatments

and nebulizers and inhalers.

And so, like, my parents
devoted like their whole life

to trying to keep us as,
like, healthy as possible.

Every time we'd get
like a cold, that, like,

can take years off your life.

- That is insane, bitch.

- I was always very aware
of my own mortality.

Growing up, my parents were
very honest with, like,

what the outcome could be.

And my parents really
sacrificed their whole life

to make sure that we could
live a full life of experiences

and love in a matter
of 15 to 20 years.

It really put into perspective,

you don't take
anything for granted,

and you just work hard,
and love hard.

And you act like it's
the only way to do life.

She did a flip while lip syncing

and she looked and
sounded amazing.

I love to see on this stage.

- I think the performance
was fine, it just...

it was a bit forgettable.

- In Kori's case,
I think the problem was,

she got outshone by a butthole.
