seems unwise but it's no trick see see

the best way to hide is to come right

out in the open Ida hello CeCe

have you heard anything yes but it's not

good to Viennese hot chocolate mmm doula

is accused of having set fire to the

Opera House and endangering the life of

Empress Sofia they've locked him up with

more gas and the other Hungarian

delegates in the state prison we will

unmask whoever is behind this whole

thing I really think that it's

counselors art or neck that can't be I

can't believe that he can be as mean as

that you warned me about Colonel Andrus

a counselors Oh tonic and you were right

sentence will be carried out tomorrow

majesty anything else one of my spies is

currently keeping an eye on the brains

behind the operation the man who

organized everything well what are you

waiting for arrest him oh well Majesty

it's just that it's very delicate

someone close to the imperial house well

speak who is it it's Duke max Majesty

it's father

that's impossible it's beyond doubt

majesty

what do you advise councillors atomic we

must deal with the enemies of the Empire

without mercy

but Cece she certainly cannot marry

Franz now it's really too bad I was

beginning to warmth you must sign

majesty

we can't be lenient with traitors no

matter who they are

at such times as these I almost paid to

being the Empress some frogs shall

replace me and then he shall have hard

decisions to make but speaking of

marriage may I remind you of your first

choice for France Helena and Grossberg

that's true

Helena is a serious honest girl and

courageous after all she is the one who

saved my life at the Opera House Cece

you have to use your influence at the

palace the Empress must be made to

realize that and Rossi is innocent you

know Papa with Franz gone I don't have

much influence there's only one other

solution we have to plan their escape

yes but how the state prison is being

guarded by a whole garrison we would

need an ally on the inside which we

don't have huh the imperial guard I'll

stay here and stall them

[Music]

look max by order of the Empress I have

the duty to arrest you me on what

grounds

you must be making a mistake my friend

you're accused of high treason guards

seize that man

[Music]

you can slow down no one's chasing us

you can count on Papa you must have sent

them down a dead-end come on Ida you'd

better go back to the orphanage stop

[Music]

if the Habsburg tiara is in Budapest

this is where we'll find it

look around you France there's jewelry

as far as the eye can see it would be a

miracle if huh don't be such a pessimist

Karl remember that it's one of a kind

the thief will have a hard time going

unnoticed Karl Karl where'd you go look

and it costs just a handful of Florence

hmm the tiara but where on earth did you

manage to find it he was right there in

this window

[Music]

I need to get to the bottom of this

[Music]

sure go ahead and laugh but now that he

knows who we are he proposed that we

come back around five o'clock he knows

how to get us the real TIA of course the

Empress has always liked you very much

miss bun Grossberg but since you saved

her life she absolutely adores you

I only did my duty in fact she was

telling me that you'd make an

exceptional princess I agree if only we

could get rid of that Elizabeth once and

for all I think I finally found a

solution to our problem you will soon be

giving the princess some bad news very

bad news

[Music]

don't even think about escaping look at

all the keys you would need the key to

the guards quarters the courtyard you're

sure have to go through a lot of keys

before finding the key to freedom oh you

loved my friend

so they trapped you too today yes now

Cece is our only hope and I left Ida at

the orphanage with the orphans and

little Jo she's in good hands still I

hope Franz comes backs I've had enough

of your games what my poor dear you you

don't know one wouldn't wish a fate so

cruel on her worst enemy

poor Cece may I call you Cece stop your

play-acting and explain yourself your

custody under the orders of the Empress

you and your petty schemes you have been

against me ever since day one you have

done everything you could to keep me

away from prawns you protect my animals

Tommy lady Mathilda and my Hungarian

friends but that wasn't enough for you

was it now you've had my father arrested

I demand that you free him here and now

gentlemen please excuse us no not you

stay counselor

Elizabeth tomorrow your father will be

done away with but at the same time as

Colonel Andrus a and for the same reason

what reason he is behind the assault

from the Opera House we have proof

cancerous atomic spies swear they saw

him light the fire with Colonel Andrews

II it is an unpardonable crime lying

my father is innocent oh that's a stable

evening I beg of you

have mercy Majesty although whenever you

wish but don't kill my father

that case we must come to an

understanding

Austria he will be loved and respected
