the romance between Franz and CC depends

much to the disdain of Helmut who has a

chance encounter with arcus Sophia

summons her son's home and there is much

sadness at passi at their departure

Franz rushes back to say one last

goodbye with a special gift

I think of you every day all the time

[Music]

ah

[Music]

dear Franz so much has happened since

you left Posse I hardly know where to

begin

Papa has gone off on one of his

mysterious trips it has been a month

since he left and weeks since his last

letter when he does come back he'll find

Posse much changed the drought was

terrible this summer and we lost most of

our grain harvest the Ravens tried to

eat what was left but we didn't let them

[Music]

the result here is that money is tight

we had to sell all our cattle to that

horrible killed orcas were next to

nothing but the saddest thing is that we

couldn't keep the Bronner family

yesterday they left the beautiful house

that Papa had built them to look for

work elsewhere thankfully we persuaded

them to let us watch over Tommy he's

part of the family now

I miss you Franz I'm so sad that you

haven't been able to come back yet but I

understand that you have much work at

the palace and I know that you face

serious problems across the Austrian

Empire as well I've heard that the

people are unhappy and that they talk of

rebellion in Hungary I know that when

you're emperor peace and harmony will

reign but in the meantime I wait for you

every day at the top of our

someday I know I will see you there

galloping over the horizon on your

trusty panache whenever you look at it

think of me

[Music]

see see a letters come from Vienna I'm

cold

can't we put it more cool that was the

last piece ooh Jerusalem artichokes at

posi yeah no thanks Greta I'm not hungry

Franz has no time to come he always has

too much work well I'm tired of waiting

was very nice to take care of us for so

long but she doesn't eat your warm mouse

things are gone and so is crunchy he

went out the window his sheets are still

hanging from why why would he want to

less about your dog I'm looking for a

horse a black stallion that ran away

from my stables

[Music]

fault that animal escaped if you don't

find him out of your own pockets and if

I catch you two rolling around on my

land you'll get a punishment you won't

soon forget you disguise is walking day

so maybe it's the scare off mr. champ

[Laughter]

food creep ones get away you

from Marcus Marcus yeah he told us

himself when we ran see where you're

going I have to find that horse go back

wanted to play rough Hey I'll teach you

the hard way I've tamed tougher than you

take up the ropes but be careful no

false moves this time we can't let them

do it

they have to free that horse so you

really don't want to come with me

colonel

that's too bad the soup is good and the

beds are soft you've lost a lot of blood

from that sword wound you're so weak

that you can't even speak anymore

no matter how risky it is I can't leave

you here

no max all right I won't insist I'll

come back soon to feed you and take care

of you in the meantime drink a little

water

[Music]

[Applause]

that'll teach him to disobey anytime

soon

have you learned your lesson this time

you stubborn mule shackle him and no

food for today

the monster he doesn't deserve that

horse

[Music]

promise that you'll never leave again

yeah told me you got a promise I swear

that I'll never leave you again

and yeah and if I don't fulfill my oath

I swear that I'll swallow could you save

me one or two tummy

I'm awfully hungry somehow she'll sense

that you're back she won't be long as

soon as she saves her horse her force

well the one that escaped from count

artists and saved Tommy the one sees he

liked she went to look for it maybe even

at the counts castle simple is that blue

Devika I'll be right back

we'll stay don't worry I'm your friend

come on follow me your suffering is over

so Miss Elizabeth stealing horses now

not stealing rescuing him from your

cruelty

insolent you deserve some punishment

yourself maybe so but not from you arcus

[Music]

sweetheart better keep an eye on your

daughter Duke she gets into mischief

when you're away thanks for the advice

count but I'm sure Cece had good reason

to do what she did he was hurting the

poor creature now see see this horse

belongs to count arcus I'm sure he knows

how best to train him why he's probably

already gotten tame enough to ride

isn't that right of course

watch this beast

snaggy horse quick

[Music]

no longer tolerate that beast nor your

daughter so long you nuts he's going to

hurt him you'll hurt him it's his right

the horse is his property Bubba no I

don't want him to be hurt he's beautiful

he saved Tommy last night oh he's a

wonderful horse

[Music]

still here I thought I already said

goodbye

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

you shouldn't have tried it it was

impossible this is what happens when you

try to ride a beast untrainable that's

not true

let me have him and I'll prove it to you

what would you do to the crippled horse

No no one will have him snidely I'll buy

him from you

I didn't think you were so sentimental

Duke still what's your offer a thousand

forints if you can heal him a thousand

forints if you get him off my land right

away alive or dead walking on three legs

or four I'll heal him Papa he'll get

better you'll see if anyone can do it

you can

cc-can Tarkus you'll get your thousand

forints sold a thousand forints for a

horse that cost me five hundred but

Yugi's a fool just like his daughter he

really is splendid and he's strong and

furious like a tempest that will be his

name Tempest

he even has a streak of lightning on his

forehead everything will be all right

now Tempest you'll see everything will

be just fine
