Franz what do you think of this vars

nothing mother

it's just a Vaz now about the guest list

our Duke Max and his family included

Prince Franz doesn't like his bars you

might as well destroy it and all the

opinion mother everything is over done

it's too fussy and ornate even the

flowers smell bad this can't go on

what do you want invite the Duke and his

family that's what I want mother but

an official invitation

[Laughter]

[Music]

yes you called for me Franz you have to

take this letter to see see what I

explained everything to her in the

letter she has to know what really

happened

Karl you're the only person I can trust

to deliver this letter into CeCe's own

head but she hasn't answered any of your

other letters no they must have been

intercepted by mother or by duke max you

can count on me Franz that letter will

get to her and no one else will read it

I swear she may read it but certainly

not before the engagement ball the other

letters I'm leaving right away be very

careful there are people who would do

anything to see that letter doesn't

arrive don't worry it'll get there

of me be here by tomorrow

Oh No that trash I threw away go see my

father marshal von Grossberg he'll pay

for it

the perfect necklace for a princess he

is not to leave Vienna under any

circumstances he shouldn't even leave

the palace at your command excellency no

I said no I'm not under orders from

Empress Sofia that's final

I'm not going and I won't oblige Sisi to

either we're staying home you may do as

you wish max dear it's just an

invitation you're free to decline well

then why are you packing the bags I

packed my bag max I forbid you to go so

that's how it is

Duke max makes the rules you're as great

a tyrant as Sophia you refused to allow

Sisi to marry Franz then you wonder why

she's so unhappy but you go off to your

revolutionary games in Hungary when your

own family can't afford to heat the

house you don't want to accept the

Empress's invitation therefore you deny

your children the rare privilege of a

visit to the palace there there my sweet

calm down I've no intention of calming

down I'm taking the children to the end

of whether you like it or not

you win Duchess offer my most profuse

apologies to the Empress I'll stay home

and console CC Duke max you're the best

of fathers and an ideal husband
