Well, he was my stepfather,

Clyde.
He was Ben's father.

He used to beat us and our mom.
And so when our mom died,

I took Ben and I ran away.
And we hid out from Clyde

for years.
But slowly Ben started

to turn into Clyde.

And I knew that he would
keep doing it

if somebody didn't stop him,
if I didn't stop him.

safe from Ben.
