Then they were thrown in the deep end with a new challenge -

the Shield.

It was a fierce battle for immunity...

..with Nigel winning protection

from both banishment and murder that night,

not that he needed it, because it was Angus in the spotlight.

When you came out of the lake...

(ANGUS LAUGHS)

Like, I just want to know what that comment was.

"'cause I was about to murder you in the pond."

But during banishment, the spotlight shifted yet again.

The purpose of a Traitor is to create a rumour around a Faithful

and gain momentum on that.

You were the worst at that!

And Olivia's old rumour was her ultimate undoing.

By all means, if you want to have a crack at me.

We're gonna be one less again.

And, alas, another Faithful was sent home.

Far out! Like, how have we not got one of you?!

As the Traitors plot the fate of the next victim...

Justine, she's one that I think needs to be talked about for murder.

MARIELLE: Olivia last night being banished,

we have literally gotten rid of 10 Faithfuls

and the four of us that were sitting there at the start

are still sitting in that tower.

I think I'm sitting pretty safe.

But as the numbers of the game dwindle down more and more,

there's a real sense of the Faithfuls getting really frustrated

that they haven't caught a Traitor.

And, inevitably, there's gonna come this point

where the Traitors are gonna have to start turning on each other.

At this point, it's about how I think I'm gonna get through to the end.

I'm here to win, I'm here to play the game

and it doesn't matter about anyone else.

It's to identify a Traitor.

If I identify a Traitor as a Faithful, that means I'm Faithful.

So, our Traitor,

the first identified Traitor for the game is Teresa.

I did go out on a limb yesterday and name Teresa and Fi,

but when I thought about it, she's the puppet.

Teresa's the master and the puppeteer.

He's also kind of a liability to the Traitors

when we really need to be playing a tough game.

to collect different sculptures from around the grounds

to make them balance precisely on an enormous set of scales.

Each correctly balanced set of scales will be worth five silver bars,

so there's a possible 15 up for grabs.

Or $30,000.

DIRK: By this stage, we should be sitting on $108,000.

So thrilled with that.

We're really kicking goals with not getting rid of any Traitors

and sitting on a pittance.

Now, two players will have a bird's-eye view

from up on the balcony

where they'll use three paintings

that will give clues of the correct combination of sculptures.

The remaining players will be broken up into three groups.

Each group will be allocated a set of scales.

The first group must finish before the second group can start and so on.

So, do we have our spotters?

We need to describe to each group

the picture that we see in front of us.

That group then needs to go and find those statues.

Could be anywhere in this sprawling estate.

As long as they do as we say, we've got this. Won't be a problem.

MARIELLE: They're up there.

There are four statues you're looking for.

So, one is a little cherub hitching its skirt.

And then there's a small, um, like, a jug, like an urn.

ALEX: Yeah. It's small and it's fat.

NIGEL: Over there. (GASPS) Yeah, that one.

It's got two on either side and it's very plain.

A whitish colour, possibly.

And then there's a taller one with a longer neck

and two handles near the top.

And then the other one is a little cherub

that's holding onto the bottom of a base

and it's got, like, a little birdbath on the top.

I definitely think that Angus is someone I need to address

and then all three of them are voting for me,

but also, it was the whole Olivia witness situation.

and I'm still gonna fight hard for that.

I've been trying to push this agenda with Matt

I feel like I have the most red flags on Teresa right now

and I've got to stop ignoring my gut, to be honest.

because I can trust the other Traitors

to take the spotlight off me.

We have to start looking at the people who are not making noise

because we are doing the Traitors' work for them.

The Faithfuls need a Traitor to relax a little bit,

but my main strategy here

is that I want them to see me vote for a Traitor

because that's how I'll get the heat off my back.

So, for me, Angus is very much at the top of my list.

The deflection and the extreme comfort

when we're all so tense.

I have no issue with cutting them down

but I'm a bit scared of repercussions from Claire

if we do banish Angus.

will absolutely shake up this game.

If I vote against the group tonight,

that's gonna basically put me in the spotlight,

so it's either Teresa or Angus.

As in the people that we're sort of looking at now

and we need to flip it on our head.

I mean, we looked in the obvious places and it...it was not there.

I mean, it was not there four times.

One thing that is just really surprising to me is

the very, very short memory of the people in this room.

I was quite surprised that, come last banishment,

everyone seemed to have immediately forgotten when we left the room...

..that it was a tiebreak between Angus and Kash.

And then I was the only one that wrote Angus down.

You suspect me 'cause I'm the least likely.

I think that, yes, you are super unsuspecting.

You'd be a really not obvious choice...

..because the obvious choice has done us absolutely zero favours.

Are we just using information from the last 24 hours to make a decision

when we're not looking at the last seven days?

It's like we are just solely focused on what has happened

in a 24-hour period.

On that, I think I was a victim of that

prior to me being blindsided

by three people in the room on one night.

I had no heat on me,

but as soon as the three ladies voted me,

then my behaviour changed 'cause I was under pressure.

I told you I walked in here with three other names in mind

and it was how you held yourself at that banishment that swayed me.

And then you came into breakfast and then you pointed at me

and said, "Teresa's your Traitor."

Yeah, because I'm onto something

and I wholeheartedly believe you're a Traitor.

Yeah, but why?

One, the whole three blindside. You're in there.

Two, Olivia's situation with the lie

and you were the person that actually was...

No, darling, I was in the car.

No, no, no, the words came out of Fi's mouth

that you said you saw it and you denied it.

Wholeheartedly, I thought I heard Teresa say, "I saw it."

We then sat at that breakfast table and I said to Teresa,

"Did I hear that correctly?"

"No, no, you misheard me."

Was squashed.

A Traitor would say, "No, you misheard me."

The very first time I told you

that I thought you were a Traitor to your face,

the most normal response to someone saying, "I think you're a Traitor,"

is either, "Why?" or, "No, I'm not."

And you said, "Oh, I think you're a Traitor as well!"

But you had no reason

and then the whole thing just evaporated into the air.

I thought you were too. I just hadn't told you yet.

Yeah, it just seemed really convenient to me. That's all.

Angus, I know I've addressed this with you,

and I'd love to address it in here.

After the Shield Challenge, there was a comment that was made

and it was, "That's lucky

"'cause I was thinking about murdering you tonight."

I said the word... I said the word 'murder'.

I said something like, "Oh, I had daytime murder on my mind,"

or some silly throwaway comment.

I shouldn't have... I shouldn't have said it.

As soon as it came out of my mouth, I thought,

"If someone's heard that, I'm gonna have to talk to that point."

Being so flippant with a word like 'murder', like, really surprises me.
