Tutorial 60 is scaling parts. We have this part made in the previous tutorial and if we

want to remake it again with the half size it takes a lot of time to make it again. So in

Katia you have a feature to rescale the parts to the size you want either to double the size

or under issue you want. So let's go to the next feature in the transformable engine feature

which is scaling. And now let's scaling and you have the plane one. We can use the reference

to be first XY and let's make the ratio to 0.5. Okay so now we rescale the parts on the XY

direction. So now to resize the whole part we need to rescale them on the rest of the planes.

So let's again click scale. We have half. You can change that ratio. YZ.

Okay so we rescale it on the YZ and to get the same details of the original parts let's now

rescale to the ZX plane. Okay so now we have the original part rescale for with half the size.

You can make also the chop with doubling the size. Just take scale, YZ and let's make it three times

rear. Okay and again three times YZ. Okay three times rear ZX. So now we rescale the original part.

So this is a very helpful tool and it allows you to change a complicated design into different sizes

according to the customer's requirements.
