the doom of racket czar Vincent Canelli

and bank bandit Peter Manning.

Both men will be put
to death tomorrow night

in the execution chamber
at state's prison.

giving the final verdict,

the governor traced the
racket czar's bloody career.

He pointed out that Canelli
has been directly responsible

for 17 murders during his rise to power.
