and attempt for us too.

for the fans to see it in person.

we were nominated for a Grammy.

we were faced with the cold reality.

The concert,

will be its first face-to-face concert
since the COVID-19 outbreak

at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

[Jimin] I stayed up all night,
so I wouldn't get jetlagged.

[RM] I exercised a lot
because I was scared, but I don't know.

I'm a little worried about my stamina.

So I just focused on

performing for four days

and easier for us to pronounce.

[SUGA] A concert isn't just�

a performance of the artist.

It's a collaboration
of the artist and the audience.

We witnessed firsthand
over the past two years

how static a performance
without an audience is.

We receive the audience's reaction
and they receive our energy.

It's an interaction between both parties.

I just want them
to enjoy that interaction.

[Jin] I liked being able to focus

solely on practicing for the concert,

and I think our quality got better.

We were able to have more time
to talk about the performance aspect.

And we prepared more things
for the onstage performance as well.

I think it was a good change for us
to have the time to do so.

so it's a little nerve-racking
and exciting at the same time.

I think it's half and half.

But I think after the first day,

the jitters will disappear.

express our passion and enthusiasm

and do what we've wanted to do,

I think the energy was on another level.

I think compared with our energy level
for our concert two years ago,

our energy level for our recent US concert

was very different.

after the rehearsal?

[Jung Kook] To keep fit.

The concert is coming up.

[Jimin] There's a theory that it's been
a long time since we've done this.

Of course.

How do you feel about
performing after so long?

I'm really looking forward to it.

Going in for the final sprint.

[RM] In the case of this concert,

it's like a one-and-done deal.

We went hard
from the beginning to the end.

It was scary.
Can we really keep up with the cue sheet?

But despite that, we believed
we simply had to

since the audience would love it.

It's been a while,
so we needed a cue sheet this epic.

Other than coming to see us after so long,

we needed to give them
another reason for coming.

after having gone through so much,

with uncertainty about

I was very nervous
since it's been a while.

the two years we couldn't perform.

we were able to gain more strength.

The feeling of coming home.

It really felt like
we were facing one another.

[Jimin] It was a thrill
I hadn't felt in a while.

It reminded me of the emotions we had

during our performances

wouldn't feel so impossible anymore.

and important time for the seven of us.

This concert really was like

the end of a chapter for us.

that we couldn't take this tour
anywhere else in the world.

I mean, if it hadn't been for COVID-19,

we wouldn't have been able to
prepare such a concert.

We put everything into this
as much as we were on a break.

Whether in Europe or Korea.

But there's nowhere else we can go
besides here as of now.

Seoul is also
in a very uncertain situation.

at the AMAs.

We were like too excited
and nervous at the time.

It's been a long
and amazing ride since then,

on the odds of us standing here,
receiving this award.

At the time, the theme of the AMAs

covered the history of boy groups
from New Kids On The Block

until the birth of BTS.

I think it was this moment
at an awards ceremony in the US

where they had to acknowledge K-pop
as its own genre.

I think we can say
it was a historic moment

that perfectly recorded
their existence within the US market

and how influential they were as artists.

We learned that

each and every moment is precious.

[Jin] The last two years were
a time to reorganize things for us.

Thanks to this period,
we were able to reorganize ourselves

and release songs like Dynamite,

Butter, and Permission to Dance.

I want to say that because of those songs,

we were able to do better
and get recognition overseas and in Korea.

More of our songs gained popularity,

which made our concerts
more exciting in my opinion.

It was a nice experience.

It was a very enjoyable,
happy, and hectic day.

[Jung Kook] We weren't expecting
to actually win at the AMAs,

but we were named Artist of the Year.

We achieved something new again.

Since it's an award from the US,

I was sure more doors

would open for us.

I began thinking and hoping
that if we continue down this path,

we'll be able to open even more new doors.

It was like a flare, a signal.

as someone different from them,

As a BTS member,
I want our group to be remembered

as artists who impart positive influences.

how to be remembered as such.

"We received Artist of the Year,

so we no longer have a goal."
That's not an option.

In fact, this gives us another goal.

The goal may not be clear,
but you get a feeling.

I'm in awe.

I'm not sure
if I'm half-asleep or something.

I can't tell if I'm in America or Korea.

I can't tell anymore.

[Jin] You came out 0.1 seconds early,

but the others followed,
so I think it's okay.

But you really do stick out a bit.

Almost nine years, to be exact.

There seems to be some sort of mannerism.

We receive love for whatever we do.

Of course, there are things
we create really well.

Seeing that we receive love
for just being BTS

makes us feel like we're receiving
an overwhelming amount of love.

I want to challenge myself
in the midst of all that.

A new chapter will open,
and I'll make new efforts.

when we spoke to our generation.

The second chapter
was the start of our global success.

new things for that chapter.

[Jimin] I think a lot
of things will change.

I think we need to
gather our thoughts personally

and think a lot about

It's also a time for us to get together
