In this video, you're going to learn how to set up a MailChimp account for free.

MailChimp allows you to send emails to up to 2000 contacts for free, so if you're a small business

or you're just getting started, it's a great way to grow on a budget and you only have to pay then

once you get beyond 2000 subscribers.

To create your mail to McCain for free, simply go to MailChimp dot com and click on Sign of Free.

Then enter your email, a username on a password and click sign up.

The next step is to check your email, to activate your account, so go ahead and log in to the email

that you signed up with and click into the email from MailChimp and click on the button to go ahead

and to activate your account.

Next, you may need to confirm you're not a robot, so go ahead and click that, make sure that you

have the free plan selected.

I can go ahead and hit complete.

Next, we need to add a few more details to set up your account.

So enter your business name on a website.

You werle if you have one and then go ahead and click continue.

Next step is then to add your address there, believe it or not, MailChimp actually needs to get a

physical address from you to make sure that your emails comply with some international spam laws.

Now, if you don't have an official business address, there are some alternative physical addresses

that you can add in, as they suggest here.

And that could be some business managers, some rehearsal or studio space teachers or some gallery or

store affiliations.

Another option that you can also do is to put in your actual address, but maybe leave out the apartment

or house number.

That way you can keep some of your privacy.

Once you've done that, click continue.

And for now, you can just say that you are not going to add any contacts and then click complete.

Next click what you plan to offer.

You can click on other if you don't see it listed there, or you can also just go ahead and skip this

step, sign up to the newsletters if you want and click on Lets Go Now.

Your account is all set up.
