he just needs the adult
to carry it home for him.

This evening's tale takes
place in California,

where the climate is sunny,

but dispositions are not
necessarily so.

Our heroine survives one tragedy

only to learn that she is
not at the end of her trials,

but at the beginning.

Speaking of beginnings, I
had hoped to open our show

with some attention-getting
sound,

fortunately our sponsor
has come to the rescue,

conversation,

why, the whole thing wasn't
more than a minute long.

- Then are you saying that
you think it's possible

the baby managed to
climb out of the playpen

and meet death by drowning
in no more than a minute?

- I believe the investigating
officer

proved it could be possible.

- You were Mrs. Castillejo's
nurse too years ago?

- Oh yes, yes, till she
went away to school,

when she was 12.

- And you have been in
retirement for some years?

- Until last year, when she
wrote to me

to say they thought of
adopting the little boy
