Having the confidence

was all based off of those first couple
years of performing with just a guitar.

I went from a small bedroom in Pickering

to playing in front of a few
thousand people in a couple years.

just being friends

I was upset for a while.

feeling like I let them down.

These next 10 years are when
everything I do is going full speed.

The heaviness of the tour

made me want to flip things around
and become more positive, you know?

The last year of my life
has been this tour, and...

when I come into the venue,

and it's been weeks,
and all of a sudden,

and I'm like, "He's coming to town."

I'm realizing

this is something
I want to do for the rest of my life.
