All language subtitles for 32 - Setting Up Your Email On Your External Host English

Okay.

Fantastic.

You've got your domain now through TMD and now you're looking at a page like this.

You should be now automatically logged in to TMD hosting.

Now, before I get into the details of this, just to say that if you're looking for your invoice,

it's going to be here under billing.

And if at any time you have any problems with TMD, you can very quickly come over here and open a ticket.

One of the reasons that I highly recommend TMD hosting is because their support is excellent.

So really take full advantage of that should you have any problems.

But right now what I want you to do is to go over here to services and click on my services.

Now here you should see your domain name registered.

Okay, mine's a business package.

It's something a bit different.

Please don't worry about that.

But you should probably just see your domain in there.

What you will see is a button over to the right which says Manage product.

So I'd like you to click on that and then scroll all the way down to the bottom here where you see,

see panel.

So click on see panel pops a million icons again.

But don't worry, because the only thing that we need is email accounts.

You might see it here at the top.

You might have to look for it a bit.

You see email and then email accounts because of course this lecture is all about setting up your email

account in the correct way.

So let's click on email accounts and for me it brings up this great big list, but for you, you're

not going to see that, okay?

All you need to do is to go over here and click on the create button.

And this is where we're going to create an email account.

All right.

So first of all, domain.

Now, I have many domains registered, so you're not going to see exactly the same as me.

You should just have your one domain sitting here for me.

I've got a lot.

So I need to go and find the dog of Dora's.

Okay, so I check the dog of Dora's.

Now the username, we are going to create just one email address.

Just to keep things simple, I'm going to show you how to create one email address.

And if in the future you want to create more than one, then you can certainly do that.

But for the time being, all we need is an info at.

So all we got to do is put in info here.

So we've got info at the doggy doors dot com.

And then all we need to do is to choose a password.

And what I suggest you do here is you use this generate button because of course it will generate you

immediately a very strong password.

But don't forget to note it down somewhere because we do need to log in in a moment.

Okay, so note down your password having generated it and then all you need to do is to scroll down

the bottom here and simply click on Create.

And when the page refreshes you should see just one line here.

Info at and then your domain.

Com.

You have now created your email address for me.

As I said before, I've got a bunch so I need to scroll down to look for it.

But you can see it here.

Okay, so now that I've created this email address, the next thing I want to do is to log in.

So I'm now going to go back to CMD.

So clicking back on TMD on the home page here, I'm going to go to services again.

My services.

Click once again on Manage Product, scroll down.

And this time we're going to go to a web mail.

Now I can log into my email, so I need to put in my email, address my info at the Dogger, Dora's

dot com and then put in my password, which of course I've saved in a very safe place.

So I put in my password and simply click on log in, then up pops this page.

This is only going to happen once in our very first time of looking at this.

So all you need to do is to click on Open Over Here C Round Cube, just click on open next to it and

you arrive on your email account for info at the door dotcom.

In my case, with everything that you know and love about email.

So now you can send emails and you can receive emails in a professional manner.

So this really is a fantastic way to set things up.

Now, at this point, I do just want to take a moment to say that I know I'm giving you a lot of information

and sometimes you might feel overwhelmed.

And if you do, that's completely normal.

It's totally normal to feel overwhelmed.

If that happens, just take a step back.

Take your time with it.

Should you feel a bit overwhelmed?

Now, the other thing you can do if you feel a bit overwhelmed is reach for help.

Okay, so you have me, but you also, as I said before, at the beginning of this lecture, you also

have TMD.

So I just want to show you how you would actually raise a ticket should you have a problem.

So if I go back to TMD to the home page, so down here on Open Ticket, I now draw your attention to

this just a few minutes ago, but let's now have a look in a little bit more detail.

So all you have to do is click on Open Ticket and then you have these various categories or website

down.

Highly unlikely that's going to happen.

A website transfer.

I don't think you're going to need that general request.

That's probably more likely.

Script install and sales also unlikely, but possibly the billing department.

Most of your stuff is going to be related, most likely around general requests.

And then all you've got to do then is click on the subject here, write something, write a description

and submit it and send it off.

And I can almost guarantee within minutes, or at least within an hour, they're going to come back

with some form of help.

They really are fantastic.

As I said before, I'm repeating myself.

I've been working with these guys for years now and they have never let me down.

So that's email all set up.

So now what we've got to do is point out domain our new domain to our Shopify store, and we're going
