All language subtitles for 5. Advanced Amazon KDP Keyword Research Strategy & Trend Identification

Hello there, everybody, and welcome back into this lecture.

Now, in this particular lecture, we're going to discuss Google Trends.

Now, as you are aware of it, I'm pretty sure most of you already know what Google Trends is.

But let's say, for example, you want to know what is trending right now.

Now, if you go to Google Trends, all you need to do is just scroll down and if you scroll down, you

can see what are the trending topics.

So here they're talking about adventures with Superman.

They're talking about all kinds of things.

So Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift is trending and so on and so forth.

So you can just have a look at here what is trending.

So, for instance here, Britney Spears Victor, I don't know who that is, but maybe that's something

related to Britney Spears.

And here, let me just keep scrolling.

Now, there's nothing to see.

But if you search for a specific topic, you can actually see how how trending it is right.

Or is it so, for example, if you look for.

ChatGPT, which is a topic of my passion as well as a very, very, very trending topic and very promising,

very profitable at the same time.

Because I want to add that behind anything that gets a lot of searches, you can expect to earn a lot

of money.

So for instance, here you can see the situation of interest over time.

Now, do not be shocked.

These spikes are actually in the same day.

So this is practically the 7th of July.

All of this that you're seeing is the 7th of July.

And so I can actually click here and change this from past day to past 12 months.

And you can see the interest in the in ChatGPT has spiked around December, which is exactly when it

came out.

But it didn't spike that much.

It really spiked on February.

That's when it really spiked and then it spiked to the top on April.

So in April is when really things got heated.

Now it dropped a little bit compared to what it was in April.

But believe me, there is another wave that's coming because now we're at ChatGPT four.

That's the latest version of ChatGPT.

I was actually just listening to a interview between Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson, and he was talking

about GPT five and GPT six.

And by the way, if you don't know it, Elon Musk is one of the people that invested in OpenAI, the

company that created ChatGPT.

So he knows the ins and outs.

I'm not pretty sure whether he's still an investor, I don't know.

But he invested in making this stuff happen and he talked about the fact that ChatGPT five and six are

going to be much more sophisticated.

And so, I mean, to me, ChatGPT four is already much superior to me, to a human being and to any

other human being because of its capacity to write, to resonate to everything.

Everything, everything.

It can write poetry better than Shakespeare.

I don't know if Shakespeare.

Shakespeare was a poet, to be honest with you, but it can really write better than practically every

human on earth.

And I mean, what is human or what is intelligence, but writing and talking and language, That's actually

what intelligence really is.

If you find someone who's really witty, really knows how to talk, then there's high chances that that

guy is actually intelligent or that girl is intelligent.

And so if you can create a tool.

Such as Chad GPG that can talk better, doesn't have emotions, doesn't have time.

It can answer in one, 2 seconds or 3 seconds.

That's really amazing, to be honest with you, that such a tool exists.

So right here, this is ChatGPT.

So the term, there's a lot of traffic for it.

Now, by the way, you have to note that we're checking in the United States.

So the United States, I should say, they're not really searching as much about ChatGPT anymore.

But if I change this to worldwide, you'll notice that it's going to change.

So you can see that there is interest on or about for ChatGPT worldwide more than in the US.

And these are the top countries in which there is a lot of interest right now.

So China, they seem to have the highest trend, Singapore a little in Nepal and so on and so forth.

And you can see some related topics that people are also searching for regarding ChatGPT.

So they're searching about AI, chatbot software, artificial intelligence, OpenAI online chat API.

And you can actually see more chatbot intelligence, and these are the queries that people are using

related to ChatGPT such as chat, chat, GPT chat, GPT, log in, GPT chat, GPT.

So pretty much everybody enters different stuff and you will also find that ChatGPT is a capacity that's

also a very famous method, but it's not as trending as it was at the beginning.

So now this is a way to know whether a keyword is worth writing a book about or not.

And I can tell you that writing a book about ChatGPT or artificial intelligence right now is really

trending.

Now there's another chat bot that that actually competes with ChatGPT, which is I think going to change

the game.

Googlebot, There's not a lot of interest in Googlebot.

People don't seem to really like it as much as they liked ChatGPT and even the interest on in Googlebot

didn't really spike a lot.

It's I mean it spiked around May.

And dropped.

But I really estimate that it's going to spike if they release something fantastic.

Now, you could also check other tools such as Midjourney.

By the way, all of these or all of these tools that are mentioned in here, you can write books about

you can write books about Mid-journey, you can write books about ChatGPT, you can write books about

Dall-e, you can write books about voiceover.

AI.

And the good news is that you can use ChatGPT to write that.

So if we look for Mid-journey, I'm interested to see the results, right?

Mid-journey There is there's not a lot of reviews for books about Mid-journey I have to say that, but

there's also not a lot of competition, right?

So a thousand results as opposed to if you look for a keyword such as ChatGPT.

You can see that there is 6000 results for ChatGPT, which is fairly, to be honest, still not a lot

of competition Considering that it's going to grow, it's going to increase and considering the fact

that for some products you can find hundreds of thousands of results.

And so, I mean, that's a far fetched, but that such things exist.

And so here it's important to find out the trend.

So now that we covered this, I have another tool which I want to share with you, which is Semrush

Semrush.

Now please listen to me.

I'm using Semrush for free.

Not because I'm an instructor or because of anything.

It's because the free plan actually allows you to do keyword research for free and listen to me again.

You won't have to pay a dime.

This is completely free.

Completely free.

You just create a free account and free trial and they will give you access to the keyword overview,

I think, for 30 days.

And then perhaps you're going to have to pay.

But you get that for the free trial.

So here if you go and search for ChatGPT, let me say this.

Let me say this now just just the the past week, just the past week, when I released my course about

becoming a best seller on Amazon using ChatGPT.

There was only, I think about 36 million people worldwide looking for ChatGPT.

Now, a week after that, it has grown to 46 million.

And let me tell you, I was one of the very first people that created courses about ChatGPT on Udemy,

believe it or not.

I created it, I think one month after ChatGPT came out and there was very little knowledge about it

at the time.

People didn't really use it that much.

They didn't incorporate it that much in their day to day marketing, job or jobs.

And so there was not a lot of information.

And so I spent a lot of a lot seven plus months getting to know the tool and mastering it.

And I can tell you that at the beginning, I don't think that there was even 1 million people looking

for it when it first came out.

So the global volume is continuing, continuously growing.

Continuously growing.

Now, let me tell you this.

Do you think that this volume is monthly?

Actually, this volume is do you think that this is yearly?

This is actually monthly.

Its monthly volume.

Okay, so this is really, really awesome.

Monthly volume and 46 million and growing and so why not go ahead and create a book and I don't mind

if you call it the ChatGPT millionaire.

I mean, there's proof of concept here as these guys are already making money.

I'm as well on the road and so just do whatever it takes.

Now, of course, not asking you to rip anybody off, not asking you to write a book that has no value,

at least ensure that when you're going to sell a book, that it's going to have some value in it.

It's going to be a decent book with some decent value.

Because let's face it, if your book doesn't have value, it's going to end up getting very low reviews.

For example, our guy here has got 3.6 reviews now, even though I think he's he's sponsoring now,

he's not sponsoring it.

But even if he's sponsors, this book, there's not a lot of people that are going to purchase the book

because they can see the reviews are low.

So working for creating a great book, even if it means using ChatGPT to write it.

Is good.

So when I say you can use ChatGPT to write a book, I'm not telling you to just go and write a book

about ChatGPT and not make an effort.

Just write it and just throw it out there and hope it works.

No, that's not how it works because it will not work for you in the long run.

You'll not make sales.

So at least make sure that you polish the book.

And so so here, like I said, this is my second best preferred way to find out if a keyword is trending.

For example, there are other keywords.

Let's check.

Googlebot doesn't get that much traffic, to be honest.

I think it gets 100 times less traffic than ChatGPT.

You can see that it's 336,000 monthly searchers, which is still fair considering the fact that if you

search for Googlebot on Amazon, there's not a lot of books and I'm actually going to release a book

about Googlebot and it's going to be 50 marketing hacks or 50 Googlebot marketing hacks, and I'm pretty

sure that I can make it at the top because the guy that made it at the top.

This guy.

3.3 reviews and he's at the top now.

He published the book in February, but he's at the top, right.

And so I'm going to create something even better and put it up there.

And of course, since I already have a course 50 Google Barred ChatGPT hacks, I can easily promote

my books or cross promote them to students of that course and elsewhere.

I have my ways, but this is the second tool, right?

So now that we spoke about the second tool and notice that all of this, all this stuff is for free.

So I didn't steal.

I still didn't mention anything paid.

So the next one we're going to move on to is Amazon.

Believe it or not, there is a tool that I want you to go ahead and install or a extension.

It's called AMZ suggestion expander.

You can actually go ahead and check this out on Google.

It's an extension AMS extension.

Expander.

So if you search for this extension right here, it's a Google Chrome extension.

So go ahead and click on that link.

I'm actually going to leave the link to you in the resources as well as to Semrush and to Google Trends

as well.

And once you are there, once you are on Amazon, if you click ChatGPT or select ChatGPT and just select

it, what happens is that they will actually expand your search.

You will see what people are searching for.

And the good news is that you can see here now I can't really see it, but if I click on this.

And it takes me right here, which I think I'm going to have to purchase their $9.99 per month.

But this is good because I believe it shows you the search traffic, the monthly traffic that people

are searching for a specific keyword.

So you can know, for instance, how many people are looking for ChatGPT, How many people are looking

for ChatGPT millionaire?

How many how many people are looking for ChatGPT prompts?

And this is really interesting because what it helps you do is it helps you pick the tags that you can

use.

Now we're going to talk about tags later and tags are important, but it also not just tags.

It also shows you which keywords that you better include in your description, because the description

when we say description, it should be optimized for SEO.

And when we say SEO, it should be it should contain some keywords and these keywords, they need to

have search traffic behind them because if they don't, then you'll just end up, you know, getting

very little traffic and so you can become the first ranked, the first for a keyword.

But if that keyword only gets ten people every month, obviously it's not going to make any sales.

You're not going to make any money from it and so on and so forth.

Now, one thing I also like to point out is that AMC suggests an expander.

It gives you details about Amazon.

So for example, if you buy their pro plan, which I recommend you if you want to make business, I

mean, if you want to publish books, I don't do it personally because I just follow the trend, right?

So ChatGPT is a trending keyword, so I'm just going to use ChatGPT ChatGPT books prompts, writing

money.

All of those are keywords, so I'm going to use those.

But if you want to go the route of purchasing AMC suggestion expander hey, go ahead, do it.

I mean, you can do it.

It's going to benefit you.

So this is the tool I'm talking about.

And also, for instance, if I click how to use ChatGPT, you can see that there is not much keywords

and not there's not much results.

Okay.

That's what I wanted to say.

There's not many results.

There's only about 120 results, which means that it is easy to compete for a keyword such as how to

use ChatGPT.

Now, for instance, if you search for another keyword.

ChatGPT book.

I would say there's also not a lot a thousand compared to 6000, which is basically the number or the

estimated traffic.

That you can find, right?

So ChatGPT.

All right.

Let me remove this.

So for some reason.

This is like a stubborn oak, right?

So, yeah, ChatGPT a thousand results, and you can see that the more you broaden the keyword, the

more the keyword is long tail keyword, the more it actually gets less competition.

So how to make money with ChatGPT 249 results.

Now mine is not yet popping, but I'm going to do my best with some effort.

It's definitely going to be there.

And also, I think with paid ads, it's really going to be there.

And so you can see that this is the strategy that I use.

And I think personally, this is the strategy that many other online self published authors use.

And it doesn't require any money.

It doesn't require anything.

It's just common sense.

And write about what's trending.

Don't write about what you want to write about.

Write about what people are searching for.

Write about what is trending.

That's the best route.
