Four of you will start by standing
on a raised platform holding a wire
that will lead backto me.

Behind you will be a communal
table full of different items.

On 'go', you will race to the
table and pick an item one at a time
to send back down the wire to me.

Whoever can send the most items back
down the wire in one minute will win
that round.

- As soon as I see it, I don't know,
for some reason, I think the wire's,
like, electric shock,

which doesn't make sense, cos they
wouldn't electrocute us on here.

And, you know, another charity
challenge, and no biscuits in sight.

off the end of the actual line.

Steve, Turia and Eli,

this is for 5K for your charities.
Are you ready to go?

- HIGH-PITCHED: I guess so.

- Me and Eli both haven't won
any money for our charities,
so we both need this.

so he's already got 10K.

It's got some symbols in it.

I am starting to think that maybe
my eyesight's going bad too, cos I
can't really see.

- Kia ora, everybody. Welcome back
to another individual face-off.

Anyone feel like they're due
an individual challenge win?

- A few people nodding.
Steve says yep.

- I've gotta win this face-off. If I
don't win the face-off, I'm gonna be
up for elimination,

and it's a big chance it'll
be me and Nicko that are up,

cos it's obvious
that we're the biggest threats
for everyone left in this game.

- Here's how it's gonna work ― for
this take, you will all swim out to
the pontoon,

where you will find a wheel with
corresponding numbers and symbols
on it.

You must memorise those pairings
and then swim back to shore.

There you will find a
spinning disc with keys and
an arrangement of symbols.

You must remember which numbers
correspond with your symbols and
turn your disc that many times.

If you are correct, the key
in front of you will unlock
your crate.

If you try a key and it doesn't work,
you must swim back out to the pontoon
and try again.

Once your crate is open, you will
find letter blocks that you will
use to solve a word puzzle.

First person to solve
that word puzzle wins.

The winner will get individual
immunity and decide who faces off
in the elimination battle.

- Let's talk about also
what's up for grabs.

Now, my Italian heritage runs deep.

straight to number one, cos he's in.

moving those letters around.

- (GROANS) This is
the worst thing that could happen.

- JAYDEN: Nick furiously

- Like, I'm kicking myself,
cos I have such a headstart.

- All he has to do is
figure out that word.

It's quite a fun challenge.

- I'm turning the board, and I keep
getting myself confused about which
way it's gotta go.

for Turia. She's deciding who goes
up for elimination again.

- I'm just so happy it's a
Maori word, and, honestly,
I'm, like, 'Maunga!'

who you're up against.'

How does that feel?

bittersweet, so... mixed feelings.

How did you get
everything done so fast?

- I knew that I didn't
wanna swim out again,

so I just tried to make sure that
I knew the symbols off by heart and
very grateful it was a Maori word.

that you kinda saw instantly?

That's why everyone should
learn te reo Maori, maybe.

On one side is a table with coloured
squares on top; on the other side,
an empty platform.

On 'timata', I will reveal a board
which will show the correct order
to stack your squares in.

You will have 15 seconds to look at
the board, then you must stack the
squares in that order

without dropping them. If you do drop
them, you'll pick them up, take them
back to the startingtable.

You can each ask me one time
to have another look at the board.

First person to stack all of their
squares in order and have it stand
for 10 seconds wins.

or are living in domestic violence,

and they do incredible work.

- I am a bit concerned about only
getting 15 seconds to have a look.

- Both of them grab an orange plate,
and I'm like, what the hell is going

- You'd hate to get all of your
squares out there and be wrong.

- NICK: All right, Stevie boy.

- You each get one chance
to have another look.

- Oh my gosh, and they're gonna be
so dark when they realise what has
happened.

- Steve with his second square.

- Can I get that colour, please?
- Gonna get 15 seconds.

Both players getting
a look at the board.

- That's when I realise there was
a black colour right on the bottom,
which you couldn't really see.

- Right, 15 seconds is up.
Flipping the board.

- I'm actually OK,
cos I don't think Mel has seen it.

- Steve going back out
with no squares on his paddle.
Has he made a mistake somewhere?

- Ooh, he's made a mistake.
Excellent. I am so ahead.
But then I realise...

Can I have a look at the board,

- This will be the third and
final time you can both have
a look at the board.

- We've both made the same mistake ―
didn't see the black line.

I'm about six deep, so I've gotta
unstack them all and start again.

- All right. Third and final
look at the board is over.

- This is it. I'm done.

- Both Mel and Steve
removing squares.

- I'm gonna do it in a way that's
not gonna fumble up my order that
I had everything in.

So I just need to get
the black one on the bottom.

- Have they figured it out?
Will they get it right this time?

- Mel's way behind me, so I've got
the opportunity to be able to take
my time.

- Steve places his sixth square.
Got four left.

What can Mel do here?

- Not much, Jayden. (CHUCKLES)
- You're never out till you're out.

- And I just start restacking,
restacking, and I look over at
Steve's pile at one stage,

and I realise one of us
has got this wrong.

- A wobble from Steve's tower.

One last square to place.
If it's correct, it has to
stand for 10 seconds.

- I put my last colour on, and all
I could do is the 10, nine count of
the 10 seconds.

And then Jayden goes...

- Incorrect.

- I don't know what I've done wrong.

- Steve now has to figure out where
he's gone wrong, giving Mel a chance
to potentially take the lead.

- Keep it goin'.

- Mel picking up the pace.

Nobody wants their stack to drop now.

Mel placing her ninth.

- JAMES: I'm watching Mel just
praying that she's got it right.

- She's got one more square to stack.

- This is tense. I need Steve out.

- I'm hoping to goodness that
her stack falls over, cos that's
the only chance I'm gonna have.
