share with you lots of affiliate

marketing terms that you need to know.

So the first one here, affiliate

marketing, Affiliate marketing is a type
of marketing that is based on

performance. In affiliate marketing, affiliates are

paid for successfully promoting a product
or services advertiser.

An advertiser is a person or organization
that owns a business and offers services

or products to customer.

Advertisers are willing to pay affiliates

for each new customer or lead they bring.

It helps them promote their brand and

acquire new customers.

Affiliate Affiliate is a person or

organization that promotes offers.

Affiliates are sometimes also called

partners, publishers, and external
marketers these are people that promotes

products in return to any commissions
from the sale of those products.

Affiliate Program An affiliate program is
an arrangement in which the advertiser

pays Commission to an affiliate.

The Commission model is usually based on

actions performed by users.

It usually involves lead generation

subscription to a service.

Affiliate network.

Affiliate network acts as an intermediary
between affiliates and advertisers.

Affiliate networks allow affiliates to
easily find and participate in affiliate

programs which are suitable for their
inventory.

Advertisers who offer affiliate programs
work with affiliate networks to reach

larger audience.
That is all affiliates participating in

the Affiliate Network.

Affiliate Network is an organization that

makes its profit on the difference
between revenue from advertisers and

costs which they have to pay to affiliate
offer.

Offer is a promotion of a service or a
product.

Offers are created by affiliate managers
and they usually contain all relevant

information about the payout model and
marketing prices.

The alternative name for offer is
campaign Offer URL.

Offer URL is the final URL where the
visitor will land after clicking the

promotion link or banner conversion.

Conversion is an event generated by a

user that an advertiser is willing to pay
for.

This is usually a target action of the

Affiliate Manager An affiliate manager is

a person who communicates with
affiliates.

Affiliate managers often create offers
and take care of maximizing performance

of the Affiliate program.

Referral Bonus Program Referral Bonus

program is a special type of payout
awarded to affiliates who brought in new

affiliates. In the affiliate program.

For each referred affiliates, they can
receive a fixed price, sign up Commission

and a percentage of their total earnings
in a given period.

Landing Page A landing page is a website
or web page to which affiliates send

traffic to.
For example, when users click on banners,

they are redirected to a landing page
that provides more information about the

product advertised on that banner,
usually with options to purchase.

page is to complete an action.

It can be a purchase, a service sign up
download on any similar action that has a

certain value for the advertiser.

Cpa, which is also known as cost per

action or cost per acquisition, is a
payment model according to which

advertisers pay their affiliates for
conversions only.

Cpc which stands for cost per click, is
actually a payment model according to

which advertisers pay their affiliate for
each click their online ads receive.

Lead means a contact that has the
potential to become a customer SEO which

stands for search engine optimization
which is the process of getting a better

ranking on search engine result page.

The purpose is to achieve higher

visibility and attract more traffic to
our website, resulting into more sales or

more leads.

Attribution attribution is a process of

identifying which affiliates are
thriving, conversions CPO which stands

for cost per order and as a traditional
payment model for affiliate marketing.

Athlete Marketing is performance based
and advertiser pays a given Commission

per order with which an affiliate
contributes Google Analytics.

Gogo Analytics is a free web analytics
tool that generates detailed statistics

of your website visitors.

Sem which stands for Search Engine

Marketing which include Search Engine
optimization, paid ads and other search

engine related services.

Cpm, which stands for Cost per thousand

Impressions. In this case, the advertiser pays a given

price per thousand activity.

Pixel A tracking pixel, is a code snippet

that allows the tracking of Vista
behavior on a website.

When a user visits a website, a pixel is
loaded.

Tracking pixels let advertisers acquire
data for online marketing, web analysis,

or email marketing.

Adblocker Adblocker is a technology that

prevents online ads from displaying on
our website.

Niche Marketing Niche marketing is a type
of marketing focus on a specific group of

consumers. A well defined niche enables marketers to

create more personalized campaigns that
will yield better results, yes, which is

known as cost per sale.

Cost per sale is a payment model that is

used for online advertisement.

When a product or service has been

purchased, a pre agreed amount is paid by
the advertiser and the payment model is

based on CPS.

Cpl which stands for cost per lead, is a

payment model for online advertisements.

A lead can be an email, address a

requested quotation or a completed
contact form.

In this case, no actual purchase has been
made yet, but the potential customer is

looking For more information about a
product or service so that way they're

going to complete all those actions
because they are actually interested in

those products for services.

Cpcv which stands for cost per completed

view. This is the amount an advertiser pays to

the affiliate for every time a consumer
completely viewed a video Commission.

An affiliate Commission is the fee you
get when you successfully promote

products from other people.

In order to do this, you need special

affiliate link.
This link can only be obtained by

registering with an affiliate network
cookies.

More piece of data that is stored on the
user's computer when they click on a

specific link.
And in affiliate marketing, cookies are

used to track affiliate referrals and
such cookies sometimes have expiration

dates. Cookie expiration date.

The cookie expiration refers to how long
that cookie stays on a visitor's browser

user's browser.

When they finally make a purchase, the
