were a nickel-and-dime

liquor operation,

behind the facade
of respectability.

But all together, the formed
the biggest single outlet

in Chicago,

for illicit whiskey.

And Solly was the king.

My luck.

Pick a lawyer
who likes to look at books

in the middle of the night.
Let's get it over with, huh?

(cheers, applause)

and the Untouchables
waited for the tiger

to strike at the bait.

BOY:
