All right.

So the 180 wraparound shot,
what you're going to do is you're going

to basically get a 180 degree

shot of the object, whether it's a person,
a car, a house, whatever.

And so this is the movement of the drone.

Now, the camera on the drone
is going to stay focused

on the object. The whole time.

So as you're moving around,

you know, it's going
to be focused up there the entire time.

This is a really, really important shot.

Probably one of the shots
I use the most on all of my shoots

just because it's just
it gives you a really, really cool effect.

It gives you
like a 3D effect of the object.

You can see this
side, this side of this side.

And another thing
you have to watch out for is perspective.

You want to make sure that you're close
enough to the object.

Usually I like to kind of be standing

you know, maybe standing right here
or right here,

because if you if you're too far away,
like if you're trying to do it from

back, back here,
you won't be able to tell how far

what you're helicopter is from the object.

And so you have a much higher

chance of hitting that person or the car
or whatever it is you are filming.

So I can usually stand
right about here or here

and then fly it close to me and then away
and then around and then there's

do your best to keep it like, you know, a
really good, you know, 180 arc.

It can be kind of tricky.

And another thing that can be cool is

usually a DJI
camera is about a 20 millimeter lens,

which is really quite wide.

And then when you have a wider lens,
you're going to see more.

But there's something called
a parallax effect,

and the parallax effect is going to be
less the wider angle you have.

So if you put a tighter lens
on, say like a zoom lens,

so like an x five or something
is a 30 millimeter,

or some people
you can put like a 50 millimeter on there.

And if you put those lenses or you use

those lenses, you're
going to have a much tighter focal length.

So you'll be cropped in on the object.

But the background and the parallax effect
is going to spin really, really fast.

So if you put a tighter lens on,

then that parallax effect
can look really, really cool as well.

So just kind of depending
on what you're going for and what you have

available, you know, maybe messing around
with different four focal lengths,

20 to 50, depending on, you know,
what drone you fly.

But yeah, it can be a very,
very cool shot, guys.

So that's the one that you wrap around.

into the field

and teach you guys how to make it happen.

around this very cool shot.

Okay. So as you can.

See, it's
very good for like buildings, for houses.

You know, if you want to show
guys on the top of a cliff or whatever,

just makes for a very, very cool shot.

Good for landscapes
like this, good for buildings.

Kind of showing the front part
of the building here.

Very cool stuff.

Here's
one of my favorite shots is a corridor

digital shoot.

And we did a 180 wraparound
and I was pushing forward with him

as he was running.

So ended up being very, very cool shot.

All right, guys.

So we're going to do
the 180 wraparound shot right now.

And I like to do the shot manually.

You can try and do the 360 thing,
but you're going to hit something

if there's something behind it.

So most times,
if when you do a 180, you know,

you want to be kind of like lower across
the front of the building or whatever.

On this example,
I'm going to use a smokestack right here,

and so I'm going to manually operate it.

One thing I like to do is
I don't like to look at my monitor

when I'm doing it
because I find that when I do it,

there's a little bit of like sync issues.

There's like a delay in the downlink

and it throws me off
and I end up not doing a perfect arc.

Now, I won't do a perfect dog,
but at least I can try and get closer.

So here we go.

Okay, Is

okay.

So we
give to the height that we want to be at.

I'm going to come down a little bit lower

in my tilt anyway,
so I'm going to tilt down.

We'll have a little bit closer.

Okay.

So you want to stand in a position
where you can kind of

I kind of like to be in a position
kind of like this to the object,

kind of like not directly this way
or this way, but this way.

This object doesn't matter quite so much.

But in general, that's
kind of how I like to do it. So.

All right, here we go.

So I'm going to look up as a drone

the whole time

and try and fly this.

Here we go.

Keep it nice and smooth.

Nice and smooth.

Okay, So I'm going to reset.

So I'm just eyeballing this, guys.

I'm not even looking at my monitor,
really.

I'm glancing down at occasionally.

All right. So,

yeah, once you kind of get into the rhythm
and kind of get a good system down

as far as the movement,

then I think it's okay
to kind of look down at your monitor.

I guess.

So that's the 180 wraparound shot.

This takes a lot of practice,
just a lot of super, super

slow movements on the sticks,
if you noticed.

It's just a lot of gradual movements,
Like you don't want to be very jerky

jerky with it.

It might help to have someone
watching your screen kind of telling you,

you know, how it's going
so you can figure that, that out.

But yeah, that's the 180 wrap around

that.

So this is

a tricky shot guys with the hands
just in the wind.

The wind makes it tough

and the closer

you are, the harder to get a beat as well.

If I'm up, I'm not looking at it
when I'm flying.

Kind of a shot.

I can hear you do a quicker spin.

That's pretty sweet shot.
