charity challenges need to be won.

- Welcome to another
charity challenge.

Jordan, you managed to overthrow
their captain. How are you feeling?

- Relief as captain that, you know,
the calls that you make, they
actually do sort of comethrough,

and that extra surprise of being
able to have that little scroll ―
great day for our team.

- Pretty big advantage to win,
right, guys?

- ELI: Mm.
- Yeah.

- Should we get into
today's charity challenge?
- Yeah.

- You can probably tell by looking
at this challenge that we're going
downtown LeBron style

with a classic game of basketball.

In randomly assigned teams of two
on two, and unlike the normal game
of basketball,

in this version, you'll be able to
walk or run with the ball without
dribbling.

That's because you'll be wearing
a classic pair of Treasure Island
inverted goggles.

You cannot see anything.
- That's fantastic.

- The first team to score
a goal wins and moves on
to our final round,

where the winning pair will
split the 5K down the middle
50/50. Sound good?

- Sounds good.
- All right. It's time to getcha,
getcha, getcha head in the game.

- I didn't even know what zaddy was.
I still kinda don't,

Apparently it's a compliment.

- ELI: We bestowed a true honour
on Blair today ―

that he's not just the daddy of
Karearea; he's the zaddy of Karearea.

And he may not know what that word
means. He definitely didn't at the
time,

and I still get the impression
he's confused by what we're saying.

Blair, you kept it tight; you're the
oldest man in the group, but you look

for your two charities.

Jazz, can you tell us a bit
about who you're supporting?

- The charity that I co-founded
with Genevieve Mora, Voice of Hope,

which I got to talk a little bit
about on the first elimination,
so I'll let Nick talk about his.

- I'm supporting the amazing charity
called Buttabean Motivation.

I'm at a point in my life where
I realise how important it is to
stay moving,

and so many people need a lot of
that support, so Buttabean has done
this work for many, many years.

- Amazing work, guys ― that money
going to two amazing charities.
And we had a lot of fun.

But right now it's time
to head back to your kainga and
get ready for that team face-off.

- Pretty good. My back is a little
bit sore from carrying my team in
that pushing challenge yesterday.

- It was a really tight battle.
Our guys were very spirited, so
we're pumped for another biggame.

- You strap on those sexy water
shoes, and you're ready to roll.

so I'm ready to give 'em a crack.

I spent the five years just
to sorta kinda manage my

I thought I was ready. I did
prepare myself psychologically,
physically to be part of this,

to support this kaupapa, cos
they are really important kaupapa.

And I hope that we inspire and
motivate people, particularly
my generation.

So thank you to my team, and thank
you to everybody, because we gotta

- So, when we arrived here and we
saw him here, after the life he's
led,

coming in to play this game, it's
just like he's an actual legend.

all wanted to either challenge or
meet up with

or just have some
sort of connection with, even
though we're on the other team.

- We might be playing a game, and
we might be competing against each
other,

but this man has
been in real battles.

It's just really emotional. It's
the first time I really did get
emotional.

But I also understand that he's
making the right decision for him,

and it was just a really beautiful,
humbling moment.

worked up straight away as soon

- My favourite part of the
experience was getting to know him.

- This is how this is gonna work ―
all of you will start out on the
pontoon.

Players will take turns diving down
to unlock four shackles, releasing
the ladder on their pontoon.

Then your entire team must take their
ladder to their overhead frame to get
players on to the pontoon

to grab the two hanging keys.

Then you will use those keys to
unlock a crate full of puzzle pieces.

First team to complete
the tree puzzle wins.

- So, swim, swim, swim,
tree, tree, tree. (CHUCKLES)

- Remember, the kaihautu
of the winning team

will decide who will face who
in today's elimination battle.

- But, of course, with a face-off,
there's always a reward.

And you wanna know
what you're playing for.

Now, I figure,
out in the wild, it could get a
little bit uncomfortable at times,

so I thought I'd put together
a bit of a pamper package.
Hope there's some sweet tooths.

I think to myself, OK, at least if
you get a couple, that will be fine.

But in my head, I'm like,
'Try get all of them at once, Laura.

breath long enough.'

- We got Laura and Jordan in the
water working on unlocking those
shackles.

- Every second while you're
underwater, that's vital oxygen time
that's starting to disappear.

- If one of them can do it
on one breath, they will get
a massive lead in this game.

Laura's up. She's got them all!

(CHEERING)

- I was like, boom, boom, boom,
boom, boom. We're done. Did all
four. No one else had to dive in.

- Jordan's coming back.

- I don't think my team knew that I
had them, because I didn't have any
oxygen to be like, 'I'm done,'

and I had to kind of, like,
be like... '(GASPS) I got them.
I got them.'

And they were like, 'Oh, OK.'
And, like, off we went again.

- Both teams have their ladders.

- Maybe we made it too easy.

- We're neck and neck.

- Oh no, a hat's gone in.

It's right in
the middle of the shot.

- Playing for sweets,
champagne and a little bit of luxury.

- It sort of dawned on me,
look, none of us are actually
that crash hot at puzzles.

- NICK: A few of us make
the decision to just go,

hey, let's shut our mouths and
let the puzzle kings and queens
do their thing.

For me personally, I do my best

so if you get a piece in,

then you're able to then find
another piece that can go in.

come to an elimination battle
that you haven't had immunity,

Here's how this is gonna work.

You will cart letter blocks
through a tricky course.

Once you reach the end, you will use
those blocks to solve a word puzzle.

If you drop your blocks on any
section, you must go back to the
start of the section you failed.

Once you have all blocks at the end,
you can start attempting the word
puzzle.

First person to complete
the puzzle wins.

Loser goes home, missing out
on the $100,000 grand prize
for their charity.

- There is nothing in this challenge
at the moment. Both women have seven
blocks on their table.

table. She can start the puzzle.
