All language subtitles for 2. Photoshop Remove Tool

We talked about how to remove objects using generative fill.

But in Photoshop there is a new removal tool which is also powered by AI.

And I want to show you that as well because it comes with a brush and makes easier to remove things.

All right.

You can find the remove tool on the left side menu.

You can just right click here on this one and select Remove tool.

This will give you a brush and you can draw over the objects, the things you want to remove.

For instance, this sponge looks like dirty and we can clean it up using this tool.

I will just draw this white region just like this.

And you don't need to do anything else.

It will disappear instantly.

Normally I speed up the video in order not to waste your time.

But this tool is so fast I don't even need to make video faster.

Okay, let's also remove these scars here.

And there you go.

It becomes much better.

Maybe we can remove these details too, so that it looks cleaner.

Okay.

Just like this.

Nice.

Also on the left side, there are things like stickers, which looks ugly.

We can just draw over them like this.

And also this one.

All right.

I can say that this tool works perfectly on things like this.

Scars, scratches and so on.

One more thing I want to show you is that you can also make skin smoother using this tool.

So let me get closer to the face.

I just click on the points, the pimples.

Agnes And they disappeared instantly.

So this is working well on the skin as well.

Okay, great.

What about removing an object?

For instance, let's try to remove this tree on the back and we can adjust the brush size up here.

I will make it bigger for the tree.

Maybe bigger.

A little more.

And this is great.

Now let's draw.

I need to be sure that I include all of the parts of the tree and be careful on the details.

You don't want to remove the arm, so you shouldn't include the surrounding objects.

And it goes away.

I'm not sure that this result is good enough.

Notice how it becomes blurry and some areas became weird.

Maybe this was my fault.

I could draw more accurately, but to fix it, we can continue removing these areas.

And in general, I think the generative field feature works better in cases like this.

Notice that the plant on the back is not generated, it just removed the tree and there is a gap now

because it didn't generate new images on on these pixels.

Okay.

This thing also looks weird.

So as I said, I'm not sure this remove tool worked good on this case.

So let's try one more thing.

Let's try to remove this watch.

I will make the brush size smaller and draw on all of the boundaries of the watch.

Like this.

And again, it removed the watch but left weird texture on the wrist.

Good thing here is that we can keep removing.

So I will just draw the areas I don't like, and in that way we can make it look better.

I will just continue removing the pixels until it looks good.

And after some iterations I made it to look like real.

And this process was really fast.

All right, folks, that was the new remove tool.

I think it did a great job for most of the cases.

Maybe not on the tree, by the way.

We could also continue using remove tool to edit these parts.

But in my opinion, generative field might be a better choice here.

So remove tool is suitable where the background is clear and doesn't require to generate new assets

while removing.
