of skating is just going

to some of the tricks.

With each fall,
you kind of know

that you're sinking
a little bit.

Is that the hardest thing
to get through

for a lot of these skaters
as they compete?

-Yeah, especially in Japan,
you know,

especially
on that stage with the heat.

It was really gnarly.

Like, everybody
was kind of falling

and everybody was going
through the same thing.

What athletes at this level
are really good at doing

is turning negatives
into positives.

You know,
we just needed four scores.

We had seven tries to do it.

And I feel like, you know,
most of them did that.
