To begin, one of you

is gonna be standing
on that wheel.

The other person is gonna
be at the crankshaft.

When I say go,
the person on the ground

is gonna have to come untie
that first

little steering wheel.

You got to go in order,
small to big.

You're gonna
grab that small one,

come over here
and try and use it.

If it's too hard,
then you're gonna go back,

untie the second one.

Then, if you can't get it done,

you go to the third wheel.

You're gonna keep on going

until you get the person
on the wheel off.

Your goal is to shake them off

as fast as you can.

Their goal is to stay on

as long as they can.

The person to stay

on the wheel the longest

will win
tonight's elimination round

and stay in the game.

As a fan of The Challenge,

growing up, watching this
for the last 20 years,

you don't earn your stripes
until you go down

into the arena
and bust someone's ass.

I hate that it's Wes.

It's a guy that I've watched

half of my life,

but I have to
send his ass home.

WES:
Here we are again.

I have always
been foiled by knots.

I've lost four times

on knot untying contests.

But curses
are meant to be broken.

All right, Dusty,
go ahead and get up top.

MONTE: Wes seems to be
going through this

very methodically

and very controlled.

I'm wondering if

he's going a little too slow,

WES: The first steering wheel

might be too small

to get enough leverage
to create any sort of speed.

So you either have to be

incredibly strong

or strategically know

that you have to go to
the next steering wheel,

but that's a big risk

because you have to
untie it yet again.

WES:
There is a difference between

frantic and fast.

I am going as fast as I can.

I'm following along,
I'm staying composed,

I'm looking at this
as one big puzzle.

TORI:

it'll be a huge relief to me

safe and sound.

I'm definitely worried about

the winner of this elimination

using the power of defection,

which is nerve racking
because right now

the Blue team
is in a really good place

in this game.

DUSTY: I'm trying to
untangle the rope

in the middle of the contraption
holding the wheel,

and it is a pain in my ass.

MICHAELA: Instead of taking
the more methodical

approach to the knots,
Dusty's just....

...creating a tornado,

but his strategy
seems to be working.

Dusty went straight to
a second steering wheel.

It seems like a good strategy.

He's got a hell of a head start

and it does not look good

for Wes.

DESI:

DUSTY:

the second wheel off
immediately.

It was kind of embarrassing.

I kind of know that I've lost.

It's time for my loser speech.

from this standpoint again.
