All language subtitles for 19. How to Make Animated Lower Thirds

Okay so I'm going to show you how to add lower thirds to your video projects to make them look really

nice.

Really professional with absolutely zero editing skill whatsoever without after effects without Photoshop

doing everything within Premier pro Sisi.

The first thing I need to do though before we get underway is download the file that I'll link up either

inside this video or after this video which will give you 15 free lower thirds to use in your video

projects and an hour supply that to they're completely free to use from rocket stock and you can install

them and then you can get underway inside the download folder.

There's a folder for fonts so you need to go and download and install these fonts first so download

them first and then you'll go into Premier process he that you see on your screen right now and click

on graphics up here just to make sure that on the same page.

This is the layout that we want to be looking at.

And then over on the right hand side you see where it says essential graphics and there's two tabs browse

and edit right browse and edit if you don't see a central graphics just go over here to window go down

to central graphics and just make sure that's ticked and then you'll see it over here so you'll see

edit and browse and then down here you'll see where it says install motion graphics template and this

little icon here.

If you click on that it opens up a window and these are the 15 free lower third files they call Mogahed.

So emoji Artie or motion graphic template files and there's 15 of them which are for free but you need

to install them one by one doing it this way to click on the first one open and you know obviously I

had these installed already.

So it says Do you want to override and for the purposes of the video I'm going to say yes if you just

go through one by one.

It'll take you five seconds just to install these like that.

Right.

I'm not going to do it now because I've already got them installed and then over here is where they'll

show up in this window.

All right.

You can scroll through this.

Now just quickly you can make this these thumbnails larger or smaller.

You just click on this little scroll line and just move it to the right or move it to the left.

You can make it into a list but I like it somewhere around here.

So these are the lower thirds that you've just installed.

Now seriously this is how easy it is.

All you need to do is click what you want and drag it over on to timeline like that.

Right.

And so if I do that I've got here one that I've added already.

And as you can see I've got my little video here and I'll just drag that over the top that lower third

over the top of my video and that's it.

Right.

So I'll just delete that and I'll start from the top.

So browse.

I'll click on this one or drag it across.

And there we go.

Now we have the default details here of somebody else.

Jeff you know I'm not Jeff so we need to change that.

Those details all you need to do is click on it over here in your timeline and then over and edit.

So the central graphics and edit you can change the name you can change the subtext so you can change

all of that here and I'll do that real quick.

Well I've got you.

So Brad new turn logs and then my subtext will be just my Instagram handle Newton official and then

what you can also do.

These are some of the parameters that you can change for this lower third.

So if you want to make the top box longer if you have a longer name or shorter you can see how easy

that is to manipulate.

And the bottom box the length of that can be shifted as well.

You can also change the color.

So if you add the text to be a different color you can have it as white white text.

And if you want the top box color to be you know something different you can change all of that here.

Red orange and maybe a slightly lighter shade you know.

And if you want You can also change the master scale which is what you use to make it larger or smaller

as a whole.

So everything enlarges and gets smaller without pixel lighting.

So I highly suggest if you want to change the size of the lower third from from this then you'll need

to do it through mass scale as opposed to going over into your effects controls and using the scale

function here.

And then if you want you can just click on that here in your timeline that lower third go over to your

effects controls over here and then where it says position you can shift the position to move it along

the x and y axis.

So it's more in the corner you can shift to the other side if you like but these are the controls to

move that lower third and position it sort of like that and you can make it smaller.

It's all up to use.

You can just fiddle around with this.

You can see how easy that is.

And that's literally how easy it is to create a little lower third like that.

I'll play that back and that's it.

Now there's many different options.

I'll let you play with it.

But you can see here if we go back into our motion graphics we have different options.

That's pretty cool.

Oh I want this one.

I can just drop that over the top as you can see I can change the name.

The subtitle the length of the box or the colors I can turn the subtitle on subtexts on and off and

so on and so forth.

So that's how easy it is to create lower thirds in Adobe Premiere processor without any knowledge of

Photoshop and after effects I hope that was helpful.
