have not eaten

and continue to suffer

in Africa's debilitating heat.

We need to take more trips

I think that's a big part of
the problem from yesterday.

Alyssa: Yeah.
It's getting too hot.

So, last night was real rough.

We had worked really
hard in the sun yesterday

and ended up getting
kind of heat exhaustion

and blistering up.

Tawny: We're
definitely at our lowest.

We haven't had food yet,

so basically water's
gonna be our food

until we get the
fishing thing figured out.

Phaedra: I've lived in
Alaska a lot of my life,

and fishing is a
big part of my life.

I really enjoy it.

But the fish haven't really been
biting with the grasshoppers,

and so we're gonna
try a different approach.

So, this is a fishing

The fish are -- it's

that has more hunting skills,

Kim: Well, the hardest
part about getting water

is definitely the sun.

We're down one partner,
and, you know, that sucks.

Kim: It's very hot. You can feel
it burning you within seconds.

Last time, I had a partner
tap out on me on day 4,

and I was by myself for 17 days.

And to kind of have the
same emotions coming up

is kind of a scary thing.

Darrin: So, you're
shaving the metal off.

Oh, yeah.

But I'm really glad
that Darrin's my partner.

He seems really eager to teach
what he knows, and I love it.

of been ingrained in me

due to my military experience

he wakes up at

and probably goes on a

and there's really not much
