The copy note allows us to copy channel sets or individual channels and
we can also kind of do some rudimentary shuffling.
I'm gonna take the The full copy is already set up to copy the A.
M puts rgb dot alfa and it's going to copy it to
the rgb dot alfa of the B input.
This is a this is B So by hooking this up in this manner,
what it's going to do is it's going to copy it directly over now.
You can see it gave us an error and that's because the default is Alfa.
Well, again, this is just RGB so we need to select one of the channels.
So now it's combining it and we can see that we have a correct channel there.
We can also go ahead and rearrange channels.
We can actually take something like the RGB Red Channel and we can
copy it to a different channel such as RGB green.
And now we've replaced one of the white channels over
here with one of the green channels.
From this side, we can also use layer copy,
which will copy an entire layer with all of its
channel sets over into the other stream.
We can use the bounding box to either combine or take from a or two B side.
We can mask the copy by using a mask input.
Or we can use the external mask input,
which let's just create a quick example of that.
Let's hook that up and you can see now it's on Lee doing that function
to that area and copying Onley what's being masked.
And when I hooked it up, you can see it's selecting mask RGB tha alfa,
and we can also tell it to unbolt and pre mult the edges
before it processes the operation.
Then, of course,
we have a mix function which allows us to either mix the replacement
or use it at full capacity or a partial opacity,
and we have our invert and our invert will invert.
The various masks or the various channels that are used by the
promotes and UN promote copy note is really effective at quickly
copying layers and using it to quickly copy an Alfa Channel from an
external source into the image stream,
replacing the existing Alfa in the next clip.
