on our click funnels trading

and in this video

I like to talk about Facebook pixels

or any pixels for that matter

so over here

I'm currently logged into my

business manager for Facebook

it's where you're able to run ads

and monitor your pixels

and track different activities for your funnel

so before I go into

how you can install pixels on your funnel

I'll let you just walk you through

what actually is a Facebook pixel

so pixels are actually very powerful trackers

that are able to compile data from your visitors

and store it inside your Facebook ad account

for example

you're able to track website activities

which will lead to improvement on

your ROI in terms of investing

and allows you to reach new and existing customers

through future retargeting

or creation of custom audiences

so without a Pixel

it would actually be very difficult

and expensive to track down the right leads

and to market to them

so if you like to utilize Facebook Pixel

or run Facebook ads

this is a very important video

so that you're able to optimize your Facebook campaigns

and build retargeting audiences

so to start off

you will need a business manager on Facebook

so it's very

very easy to create one account

if you haven't already done so

all you need to do is just go to Google

and type in Business Manager for Facebook

that's where you go to business start Facebook com

and create an account over here

so it links to your Facebook account

so if you're already logged in

you will be able to create one with ease

see see that I need to log into my account

but I'm actually already logged in on the other end

so just go ahead and create a business manager

and this is the page that you will see if you go to

your Events Manager menu under pixels

alright so I'm just going to create

a brand new Facebook Pixel

just to show you how it's done

so what you want to do is create a pixel

you can name your pixel based on the product

or the different campaigns that you're running

but for this video

I'll just put a simple name a demo pixel

and I'll create a pixel

okay so installing a Pixel does require you to

you know utilize code

but it's a fairly simple process

you can use different options over here

but usually the most straightforward one would

be to manually install the code yourself

so you just want to click on this option

so you can see here

that pixel codes are often installed

in the header of a website

and in this case

it's the funnel

so here it's just guiding you how to locate

the header code for your website

and this is actually

the pixel code that you'll need to copy and paste it

inside your funnel

so I'll just quickly show you

just press this copy

it's copied to your clipboard

and you want to head back to your Click Funnels account

so the example here I'm going to use

is the opt in funnel that I've created

in your case

it will be the funnel that you're working on

what you want to do is head over to settings

and you'll be able to see that

there's the hit tracking code over here

and the body tracking code

so just by following the instructions

paste it in the website hitter

so it's very straightforward

step 1 copy the code step two

paste the code over here to install the Pixel

and then you can go ahead and save

and update your settings

okay so that means that

the base pixel code has been installed

in your funnel right here

so note that this code that you paste over here

actually applies to the whole funnel

so it's funnel white tracking code

the next thing I like to go through is how to install

individual pixels based on perhaps an event

something that your customer has to do on that website

which you like to track

and how to install that in individual funnel steps

because the base Pixel only allows you to track

you know how many people has visited your website

as the most basic action

so if I go back here to Facebook Pixel

what I can do is I can

you can center test traffic

but I walk you through how to do that

how to actually monitor your different activities later

so you press continue

now since we have already installed the base Pixel

the next thing you need to learn about is

how Facebook track events

you can read more about it here

but basically

you're able to track individually on individual pages

whether someone has purchased your product

whether they have complete the registration

whether they have at their payment info

these are currently the options

they are compatible with Facebook

and it's really

really handy

because you're able to track different activities

and how you do that is for example

if I want to see whether someone has completed

their registration

so if I toggle this on

I'll be able to then get the code

so that I can paste it in my funnel

and that is where Facebook is able to track

if someone completes a registration

so there are two type of event tracking

the first one is track event on page load so

only choose this option if the action you wanna track

can be tracked when someone lands on a certain page

for example

if you put this code in a confirmation page

um you know

after completing a purchase

that's when

you know okay

there's 10 people that actually lands on this page

and therefore

redeem it as they've completed the purchase

because the next final step after purchase

is the confirmation page

so in this example

I like to just show you

since we have an opt in page

and the next page is a thank you page

so what I can do is I can copy this code

and if I paste it in my thank you final step

so the amount of people that

manage to reach the thank you step is therefore Dean

as you know

they have completed their registration so

how you want to do that click in this individual step

go inside edit page

and under settings

you'll be able to see a tracking code

click on this

under the header code just paste the pixel over here

and don't forget to save

all right cool

so that means we've installed the

complete registration pixel

over at that individual final step

you'll be able to create multiple events

to track different pages

oh okay I think I missed this out

track event on inline action

so this is useful if the action you want to track

requires someone to click on something

so whether it's an add to card or add to card button

or perhaps application button

that's where you use this code right here

so that when someone clicks on a particular button

Facebook will then know and you know

relay this information back to you

so in this case I'll use this page load option

all right once I'm done

you can actually take a look at this

section over here

the verify events

using the Pixel Helper

so I highly recommend you to install this extension

on Google Chrome

so this is an extension

in fact it's up here

where you're able to see whether you have

successfully installed your Facebook Pixel correctly

so what you can do

is install this Pixel helper

and your extension will then pop up here

I'll show you how it works

but in the meantime I'll put this as done

so then activities and events

and how you track and monitor your pixels

are displayed over here

it might take some time to show up

since I've just set it up

but just to recap

what I've done is

on my final set settings

I've pasted a base pixel code in my hit tracking code

under my settings

which applies to my whole funnel

the second thing in my

thank you final step

I've installed an event pixel tracker

that tracks whether someone completes the registration

or not upon page low

okay so I've installed two codes

you can do multiple events

but I'll just go ahead and show you

so if I take this page

and I paste it over here

so you can see

let me see if I'm able to do this right

so if just a page without a pixel tracker

you can see that nothing really pops up over here

because there's no pixels

but you can see here

that because I've installed the Pixel code

you'll be able to see that there's a green

checkbox over here

which means

I've successfully installed the base Pixel code

so this is really handy

because then that's when you know that okay

your Pixel is successfully installed

so let me go to my thank you page

and you can see here

that I've an additional event tracker over here

so whoever that falls or lands on this page

it will trigger the Pixel

to inform Facebook

that someone has completed their registration

so I can see that it's successfully installed over here

let me close these pages

let me do a quick refresh

to see if the stats came in already

okay so you can see because I've installed my Pixel

at the moment only page view was updated

you can see that

I'm able to track the amount of times visitors

or amount of visitors that has visited my opt in page

so immediately

you're able to see so much more statistics

and over here there's so many different options

and for you to view analytics

that is such a handy tool if you're running a business

or a marketing funnel

so this is something that's really essential

especially if you're running Facebook ads

you're able to do Google Analytics

and the idea is almost the same

it will tell you where to paste your codes

it will usually be on the hit tracking code

over here but you get the idea

and then you'll be able

to track so many different things

your active users

your users activity

and your top landing pages

so that's really the gist of

how to install a Facebook Pixel on Clickfunnels

I'll just do a quick refresh to see

if the complete registration data is coming

doesn't seem like it's updated yet

yep it may take up to 20 minutes for events to show up

but I've got an image over here

so this is just one of the pixels that I've installed

on a separate site

but it's the same pixels that I've installed

the base pixel page view

and the amount of completed registrations

so you can imagine that you know

if you have multiple events

you'll be able to track so many things

and it will really help you to

optimize your Facebook campaigns and in the future

build retargeting audiences
