We checked for fingerprints and
they belong to the dead man.

- These tablets had been prescribed?

on the label of the bottle,

they came from a chemist in Chelsea

near Mr. Springer's flat.

We did check the register
and they were prescribed

by a Dr. Crawley of Wimple Street.

- [Coroner] Mmm, did you
find a note of any sort?

- [Inspector] No, sir.

- [Coroner] You looked?

- [Inspector] Of course.

- [Coroner] Any suspicions?

- [Inspector] Of foul play?

Not at all, sir.

I'm perfectly satisfied that
Mr. Springer committed suicide.

- I swear that the
evidence I shall give shall

be the truth, the whole truth
and nothing but the truth.

Under the circumstances, it
all seems quite clear cut.

And I record a verdict.
