good at history.

- We did.

I got a B.

- I thought B's were
supposed to be good?
- Not as good as A's.

- Guess who got an
A on his history test?

The extra credit
put me over the top.

- Congratulations.

You deserve it, after
all the work that you did.

- How'd you do?

- Oh, I did okay... But I'm
going to do better next time.

- If you want, I
can help you study.

- You know what? I
could actually use the help.

- Okay, but you're gonna have to explain
it all to me first. I stink at math.

- You look like a man

who just got a job offer.
- I did.

Just not the one
I interviewed for.

They went with someone who
they said is more right for this job,

but then offered me something even
better in Seattle, where they're opening up

a new branch.
- Seattle is a beautiful city.

- I've kind of always
wanted to live there.
- Hm.

And I hear
congratulations are in order.

- I guess so, yeah.
- I'm really happy for you.

They made an excellent choice.

Except I turned them down.

- I took the interview

because I wanted to find out if there
was something better out there for me.

And I realized I
kind of like the job

I already have.

And then I found a book
in your library about Seattle

and it just made me realize I didn't
want to leave my friends back home.

- You're from Seattle?

- Annabel's whole family's from there.
And now Jim is moving there as well.

- For a job, yeah.
- Maybe I can show you around.

- I'd really like that.

it and spent time together.

gonna end before I start them.

- Where's the mystery in that?
- I like to think of it
as being prepared.

You can't go into surgery without
knowing exactly what you're gonna do.
