Direct federal intervention
in local law enforcement is rare.

It's usually reserved for terrorists,
drug traffickers.

Well, there have been cases of, uh,
federal agents working in concert

with local police to round up
murderers and gang members.

But the results have been mixed,
at best.

Carl, what agencies
are you talking about?

Most of these crimes
involve drugs or guns.

So you'd be talking about the DEA,
the FBI, the ATF.

You send them into PG County,

you're going to be cutting
a pretty wide swath.
