50 million gallons of heavy crude.

She breaks, it's enough
to blanket the East Coast.

I figured the president

Trouble is, we can't predict when.

We could contain the spill
and offload the balance of the oil.

that risk increases exponentially

the farther the ship has to travel.

My experts think
it's best to share the risk.

Perhaps the Cambria should be
taken out to sea and sunk.

Maria, even if that worked,

we'd just be leaving the problem
for future generations.

We have to deal with this

Anyone can see
that it's not just people

whose lives and habitats
need to be preserved.

our lives and our wildlife at risk.

she would do whatever she could

to secure that hope, and that future.

she turned her back on us,

and she embarked on a reckless course
of action that will destroy that hope,
