What they didn't
realize was that

this specific conference room,

which is normally
reserved for OMB meetings,

also has a sound-activated
recording system.

There was a tape already
queued up and waiting

from a meeting
earlier in that day.

Nixon and Haig,
listening to their tape,

all of their conversation,
everything that the room heard

ended up at the end of a
rather brief OMB meeting,

and in my box of
tape to transcribe.

never subpoenaed, why?

Nobody knows it exists.

The original tape, the
one that they blamed

on Rosemary Woods, was erased.
