was watertight, he was at work.

So the accident
investigation report concluded

that it was probably joyriders
from the nearby estate,

which they'd been
having a problem with.

Two days later, the car was found burnt out,
dumped on an industrial estate in new Malden.

The case still open?

Mm. But what bothers me the most

is that fragments from the
bike's back reflector light

indicate that this was
the initial point of contact,

but there are no skid marks to
show that the driver even braked.

driver didn't see him, or...

Or he ran him down on purpose.
