It's just, it's hard for me to revisit energy

like that because I get so scared

that it's going to come back around.

When I moved out of the home that we will be talking about,

I moved in to here with my mother.

This is a few photos, before and after.

The first one is when I first moved into this house.

Very energetic, very smiling, very happy.

I was very proud.

And this is right about the time I moved out.

I can just see the gleam in my eye, the smile on my face.

It was a lot easier to smile.

I don't smile as much as I used to.

I moved into the house in December

with my three-year-old son.

It was a little outdated, but had

a really good rate on my rent.

I mean, I was only bar tending three days a week.

I was really grateful.

I felt at home there.

I was really excited because it was right before Christmas.

We had some help from my daughter and her boyfriend.

When you pull up the house, the house

is in a beautiful neighborhood out by the lake.

Peaceful, very nice, full of nature.

So it was the perfect place.

The previous owners had left some stuff there.

The house was absolutely full with their personal property

and belongings.

There was a guitar, a lot of things.

Where do you want this?

Oh, right over here.

But I'll take that right now.

I am a spiritual person.

I feel energy a lot different than a lot of people.

Almost instantly, living in this home,

I could definitely sense a presence.

And I did find out from the landlord

that there was at one time an old lady that had lived there

and had passed away years ago.

I think her spirit was still there because it was her home.

I took the paranormal less seriously than my mom did.

I didn't think it was, you know, to be taken seriously.

Oh, we got 1 minute.

I get some of these and you get some sparkling water.

This wasn't the same as the spirit of this elderly woman.

This was different.

Things started getting really rough.

I could have never predicted what was about to happen next.

As I walked through the house, I could

feel the energy was different.

It wasn't the same.

I knew that lady was still there.

The elderly woman, her spirit was still there.

But I knew something else was watching me.

Jamie?

What are you doing?

JAMIE: We're playing.

My son was spinning around in circles,

and laughing, and giggling, and carrying on,

and there was no one in the room.

You're it.

There was this little girl standing right there,

just staring at me straight face, just glaring at me.

She looked around, and then she was gone.

I was kind of in shock that my son was

interacting with this spirit.

It was alarming.

Who are you?

I'm sorry.

I didn't want to hurt anyone.

What's wrong?

There was more than one spirit here.

I just keep wondering, why is this happening to me?

Instinct told me just right away to start doing some research.

I got to understand what's going on and what I'm dealing with.

Bill Reminy, 29.

A man that lived there prior to me

committed suicide before I moved in.

And I did research about drownings at the lake

and what children.

And when I did, almost instantly,

it popped up that there was a girl who

had drowned at that lake just a couple of years prior to us

moving in.

That's her.

It was a memorial video.

And in that video, there was that child

to a T. Same appearance, same size, it was her.

The spirits and the energy in the house

wanted me to know they were there.

The house was open season then.

[screaming]

OK.

I was coming in, in a hurry.

And as soon as I opened the door,

as soon as I got right here, there was a grayish skeleton

face in my face of a man.

And it was like in my face.

And as soon as I let go the door,

I kind of jumped a little bit, and then I felt

instant squeezing on my heart.

And my heart started racing really fast.

I felt a lot of pain.

I was having trouble breathing.

Was that the light?

I was starting to feel heavy over here.

That's--

Yeah, when I started talking about all of it.

The lights went flickering.

The light switch is right back there.

There's nobody back there.

Let me see if I can imitate that.

No, you have to--

I was kind of in shock that there were

so many spirits in my home.

Things started to get really intense.

I was talking to my friend who is the psychic medium,

and she said that a suicide, and kind of knowing

the kind of energy that comes with suicides, it

can trap other spirits there.

He needed closure.

Once that happened, he would go.

And that once he was gone, anything negative or dark

would go with him.

The guitar was relevant because it was his pride and joy.

I found some things.

The landlord told me where to find you.

The closure he needed was for his family to understand he was

sorry, and don't be mad at him.

And it worked.

The suicide victim did go.

He did go.

He went on to where he was supposed to be.

I was told that once he left, the other spirits

would go with him.

Oh my gosh.

If you haven't had that happen to you--

the feeling of seeing something that intense coming

from my little child's room.

There was something there wanted to hurt my son.

It just started getting worse and worse.

I was like, that's a little creepy,

but are you sure you weren't just dreaming or something?

At one point, I did think my mom was crazy.

I thought that maybe she dreamed it.

Or, oh, she's just being dramatic, you know.

I had no way out.

I had nowhere to go.

I have problems that kind of ruined my rental history,

so I couldn't just move and sign a lease somewhere else.

I just had to sit there and keep trying to fix the problems.

I wasn't sleeping much.

I was working a lot.

And it kind of affects me with coworkers,

just being real grumpy, dealing with people,

working with the public.

Affected friendships.

I didn't talk to people as much as I had before.

I kind of reclused a little bit.

I was a social butterfly before that house.

I decide to seek out help from the psychic medium.

We had definitely come to the conclusion

that because of the suicide, there had been

a portal opened in the house.

When you have a portal, you have both good and negative

energy coming through.

There's no filter.

It's very dangerous to have one open.

You need to close it.

That's when I decided to take my son to my mother's house.

Grandma!

You don't mind having a sleep over, do you?

I'll take this little monkey any time I can get him.

The portal needed to be closed.

That was my family.

The psychic medium came up with a game plan to try to fix it.

There's something that you can do.

You can use aids like red brick dust with some cinnamon,

and some thyme, and some crushed egg shells.

This is where it's been the strongest.

This is probably where he killed himself.

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in our battle.

Be our protection against the wickedness

and the snares of the devil.

There's a monster in the house with mommy.

have any recollection of it.

We'd only had a couple of drinks,

just sitting there after thing was done, and we were visiting.

It's a very weird sensation.

I mean, I don't really remember too much of it.

Oddly enough, I just really don't

remember when it was happening.

I think there's a lot of spirits who can't leave,

who don't have an exit, who are trapped at their location.

That's what was going on.

I'm living in hell at this point.

I'm scared to death of the dark, dark, dark, negative energy

at the house.

I was really scared.

When the physical attacks started,

I mean, it's just hard to explain to someone

who doesn't understand.

Like, it got really dark after that.

I had started feeling like I was being watched.

Something very bad wanted to hurt me.

The sleep deprivation is really getting to me at this point.

How can someone sleep when something like this

is happening to them?

The house went from being a new beginning, real airy, to--

oh my gosh, I turned that volume off.

I'm so sorry.

That is so weird.

I turned that off.

That volume, I turned down til it vibrated,

and it still did that.

I powered it down.

My phone was off.

My daughter had contacted me and asked me if she could stay

with me for a couple of months.

We got laid off from our jobs.

And so we decided to stay there until we

could get jobs, get back on track,

and get our life back together.

I did tell her that there was something

going on in the house.

She wasn't really scared.

Why, because it's haunted?

I wasn't concerned about anything.

I was excited to be staying with my mother again.

I was really excited to be with my brother.

I'm just kidding, mom.

through the door in that house, it was like he

was just a person of anger.

The spirit of targeting him to get to me--

I had been streaming a show, and they

were talking about how to cleanse

the dark, dark negative spirits.

She was talking about tar water.

So I started doing a lot of research into what it is,

and what its uses are, and how to use

it to get rid of the bad stuff.

And this stuff smells so horrible.

It does not smell good.

Mom, what are you doing?

That smells awful.

What is that smell?

That's when the anger in the house really set in.

The feeling of just--

I knew something was mad.

It's angry and it wants to harm me.

I had no idea how bad things were about to get.

[screaming]

This thing attacked what I love, you know.

This is a huge turning point for me.

I'm determined to fight.

I can't even like put into words just

how terrified we were like.

I, just knew that we needed to get out as fast as we could.

Hurry up.

I'm sorry.

You need to leave.

I was terrified for her.

And I genuinely felt bad.

I was kind of ashamed that I was leaving her in this situation

that I knew was dangerous.

I'm not going to let it defeat me.

The final straw was seeing that face to face.

And it was nothing that I wanted to go to war with.

And I folded.

I admitted defeat, as far as trying to make everything stop.

There was nothing else I could do.

I couldn't beat it, I couldn't defeat it,

and I didn't want to try anymore.

I was done.

Mom!

Buddy.

Do you have room for us to move in?

I'll make room.

It was hard for me to accept, but it was time to go.

People were getting physically harmed.

Health was deteriorating.

I was losing who I was as a person.

My whole perspective on the paranormal world

completely changed.

I never want to go back to this house again.

I have like a new direction now.

I want to use these experiences to help

both people and spirits.

Getting this RV means a lot to me

because it's a new beginning.

It absolutely is.

I have freedom.

If things get really bad where I'm at, I can just get a truck

and pull it somewhere else.

You know, that's some freedom.

That's some peace of mind for myself

so I don't feel so isolated and stuck in a bad situation

anymore.

Because I was stuck.

And I don't want to ever be stuck again.

And this is, you know, my son and I are going

to travel around the country here in less than a year,

and go all over.

You know, every month, we'll be in a new location.

And I'm excited.

I live, eat, sleep, breathe the paranormal field now.

And I host investigations around the country.

I interact with spirits and the people there.

I've been able to really talk people

through a lot of that stuff.

Despite all the terror and horror

that happened in that home, I mean, I've come out of it.

I've come ahead.

OK.

So basically just relaxed.

Think good intentions or good intent.

Just anything negative is not allowed to go with you.

Just only imagine positive energy being on you.

Breathe in good.

Exhale bad.

Nothing negative is going to be with you.

Just think about how the energy is

only going to be good that's attached to you

when you leave here.

And leaving anything negative, it will stay where it's at.
