So listen guys, we just got a call

and this call is coming from Kansas from a very, very worried daughter,

a very worried sister.

Her name is Brenda.

And she's very concerned for her mother and her brother,

but also, herself and her sister.

They've all had bad experiences in this home.

I don't think they can leave this home.

There's been attacks, there's been bruises,

there's been strangulations by this entity.

Let's listen to Brenda and let's prepare ourselves

for what we're about to get involved with.

Hi. My name is Brenda Miller and I am submitting this for my mom.

The biggest reason or concern for submitting this is for my little brother.

It's affecting my mom, but it's affecting my little brother the most.

My biggest concern is that he's starting to experience things

that I experienced while living in the house.

I want to find answers so that we can figure out

what to do to keep him from experiencing any more

because right now, it's keeping him from sleeping.

And it kept me from sleeping in that house, at least not very well.

It kind of seems like, you know, the concern is for your brother...

Who still lives here.

I feel like he's just taking it differently than some of us have.

He never really talked about much of the experiences in the house.

I think it scared him more to talk about it.

And you guys don't live here anymore, right?

It's been 16 years when I had first lived...

when I first bought the house and moved here.

A lot of stuff happened in the first five years.

The kids were getting older and I noticed they were hearing

- and seeing more things upstairs. - [Billy] Got you.

The second floor is probably the most terrifying out of all of the house.

The hardest to be in is the second floor.

[Jay] You want to take us upstairs

and kind of show us what's going on?

[Brenda] Yup, we can go ahead.

[Billy] And that's where you guys lived when you lived here...

- [Anthea] Yeah, that's right. - Was upstairs?-

[Brenda] Yes.

[Jay] I'm gonna, I'm gonna grab my camera,

we're going to grab some gear and then we'll follow you up there.

[narrator] Outside the guys wonder

where the little brother is why isn't he here,

and will he be willing to talk to them?

So we gotta remember our main focus is...

The son. He's 15, he's the youngest living...

We gotta talk to him.

And they seem mostly worried about him,

like, he's going through it now.

I think we really need to talk to him

and kind of like focus in on what he's going on.

Hopefully, he'll open up and tell us

what he's experiencing because it sounds like

he doesn't like to talk about it.

[narrator] The team keeps the mystery of the brother' whereabouts in mind

as Brenda and Anthea take th upstairs to the second floor

where the siblings have endured years of horrifying nightmares

and witnessed the presence of a shadow figure

in full-body apparitions multiple times.

Even now, as adults, they still don't feel comfortable

on the second floor.

[Brenda] And be careful, the stairs are pretty steep.

[Aaron speaking]

- [Anthea] Yes, the stairs are really steep. - [Billy] It went out like...

Dude, something came across me.

Ooh, that's weird, I'm getting like height, the heightened stuff.

[narrator] While exploring the second floor,

Aaron and Billy begin investigating with a camera

and an EMF detector.

[Brenda] I woke up in the middle of the night and there was a man

standing over by the window

and it looked as if he was like floating in a way

because he had nothing below his belt, like,

belly button area and he was staring right at me.

And he walked across the roo

[Aaron] You ever felt like attacked or anything from it?

[Brenda] I was attacked in my sleep at one time.

In the dream, a man completely like distorted features

and whatnot came running into the room,

jumped on top of me, and just started strangling me.

And later throughout the day

I look into the mirror and there's a little thumb-sized print

- on the side of my throat. - [Aaron] Whoa!

And I was like, that was not a dream then.

[Aaron] Yeah. So it's physical.

- It's violent. - It can be at times.

[Billy] I was just monitoring this

and you can see that that's all zeros, right?

[Aaron] Right.

[Billy] Zeroes through the whole house.

We walk through the kitchen, we came up here,

and as you start talking about the shadow man and being choked,

that's when the EMF detector was detecting higher levels.

There's a little thumb-sized print on the side of my throat.

- [Aaron] Whoa! Yeah. - And I was like, that was not a dream then.

So...

[Billy] And then when you changed the subject, it backed up.

It's gotten to the point where even if we stay the night here,

we can't sleep with the lights off.

Why do you think it haunts this place or...?

Back in 1905, there was a tornado that swept through here.

Pretty much took out the whole town.

There was only, literally one house standing

The tornado when it hit, it happened that night,

and it killed about 31 people.

It took out a pretty good amount of the town,

and the street I live on is also nicknamed as a Cyclone Street.

[Brenda] Some of the houses were rebuilt

with boards from the houses that were torn down.

[Aaron] Ooh. That gave me chills.

- [Brenda] Yeah. - [Aaron] Look at that.

[narrator] Their mother has spent years renovating this old house,

but it wasn't until they expanded the basement

that they realized their floors were once another home's walls.

Looking up, you can still see markings

from the wall slats and plaster on the floor above.

Has this repurposed wood retained the spirits of some of the dozens of victim

who died in this neighborhoo during that horrifying torna over a century ago?

They don't know they're dead.

They realize their house no is built on another house.

[narrator] However tragic as the tornado disaster was

we're having a hard time believing that the victim's spirits

are causing all of these evil attacks on the family.

And if that isn't the source what is?

[Brenda] After all of us moved out,

our little brother had up here to himself pretty much.

And he stayed up here for, probably like a month or two at most,

and he said that he couldn't do it anymore.

- [Billy] Oh. - [Brenda] And so now what was supposed to be a guest room

is now his room down in the basement.

[Trenton] It's very unsettli to have the feeling

of not being able to comfortably go up into a certain section of my house

that I've been living in my whole life.

[Anthea] He is absolutely terrified of the upstairs ever since he was little.

He would either see things

or he wouldn't be able to sleep at night because of nightmares.

I'd wake up thinking like it actually happened,

and I was just scared for my life thinking something was gonna happen to me.

[narrator] It's truly disturbing to kno

that Trenton was in fear for his life

by whatever malicious entit resides on the second floor

But the question remains, does he really think

he's completely safe by being in the basement of the same home?

As the guys question Brenda and Anthea about their brother,

Anthea suddenly begins to become affected by something.

[Anthea] Yeah, I need to get downstairs.

[Jay] Did you say you need to go downstairs like,

you just don't feel comfortable up here?

[Anthea] Yeah, my... I'm starting to panic a little bit.

[Anthea speaking]

[narrator] The pressure of being on the second floo finally overwhelms Anthea,

and she's compelled to flee the house completely.

Outside, she is comforted by their mother in the front yard.

- [Jessica] What's wrong? Why? What happened? - [Anthea] I can't breathe.

[Anthea] Just... I just can't breathe.

[Anthea speaking]

[narrator] Billy goes outsid to check on her.

- [Billy] You okay? - [Anthea] Yeah, I'm okay.

It's anxiety or...

[Anthea] Feels like I'm about to cry right now.

[Billy] It's okay. Because it's real.

We do the same... same thing when...

when we are somewhere and like it's overwhelming, we gotta get outside.

So, I get it.

- [Anthea] I'm okay. - Okay.

Just making sure.

[narrator] The guys head dow to the basement

to check on the little brother, Trenton

who seems to be doing bette since moving as far away

from the second floor as possible.

But his sister's panic attack upstairs

could be an indication that it can still affect someone

at a moment's notice.

[Trenton] I feel like every time

I get close to the stairway going upstairs,

like if I'm just getting something to eat,

I'll feel like something's wanting me to go upstairs.

And so I just try to avoid even the kitchen as much as possible.

When you're like relaxed and like,

you're isolated from everybody else, that's...

that's definitely when it starts to happen more.

[Aaron] We could split up and go room, room, room.

Someone stay in the kitchen,

some... three people upstairs in those rooms...

- [Jay] And just observe for a while... - [Aaron] Quiet.

[Jay] Don't even actively investigate,

just kinda chill and just see what happens.

I'm glad my sisters reached out because otherwise,

I feel like it would just gradually keep getting worse

until the point where it's kind of unbearable.

[narrator] Lastly, the team wants to investigate the kitchen,

where this door mysteriously opened by itsel

and was captured on a home security camera.

[Brenda] This is the laundry room door

and like, you have to pull on it, but this was...

this was completely closed

and you have to full-on pull on it for it to completely open.

And so in the video, when it was completely closed,

no one was home and it just swung all the way open.

[Jessica] At the time, we had the camera set-up

and that's where one of the cameras was,

they are off right now 'cause we had some issues with them,

but yeah, that was the camera that was showing it when it opened.

[narrator] It's now time for the family to leave,

so our investigation can begin.

[Aaron] Let's get set up.

[Zak] Okay, so before we begin, there's a lot going on here.

I mean, this whole family, it's very obvious,

it's very apparent that something in this hous

has been affecting them for a very long time.

It has affected their lives It is still affecting them.

I mean, we just saw Anthea have to leave the house

because of what she was seeing.

Trenton, the guy can't even go to the second floor.

So before we begin, Lauren is our camerawoman and what did you see?

While we were setting up for nerve,

looking across the kitchen to the window, it was like a ripple of light.

And it happened twice and I thought,

"Oh, there must be something blowing in the wind outside."

But I stood in the kitchen and stared at the window for about 10 minutes,

and it didn't happen again.

So I'm not sure what could have created that,

- because it's not the roadside of the house. - [Billy] No.

So, we need to get evidence of this,

so that we know how to diagnose this problem

And so we need to open furth whatever doorway is there

and they need to understand this.

So why don't we start this off?

Right now, somebody go run in there

and put a walkie in the second floor bedroom there,

where Brenda was strangled.

Right when I got to the top floor,

I hear [hisses] right in my ear, but there's nothing there,

whatever you're doing to this family.

You will not punish. You will not attack Jessica.

You will not attack Brenda and Trenton and Anthea.

When you started doing all that, Zak,

my heart rate shot up to 114.

I have anxiety, too. I feel it.

I feel it through this connection.

I feel the same tension that you guys are feeling on location.

That's what's crazy right no

And I just saw something on camera.

So did I.

When he was off to the side there was something up high, right?

- Did you see it? - Yes.

I just saw like a white figure, dude.

I swear to God, right in the hallway,

just down then a dark, dark shadow towards that camera.

That's exactly what they said.

[Aaron] I saw it with my own eyes go back.

We were feeling the anxiety the second you started saying all that,

my heart rate shot up.

[Aaron] When you guys were talking about that,

I saw like this white figure about this tall,

kind of walk here... See the shadow of the tripod?

- [Billy] Yes. - [Aaron] It disappeared right there.

And then all of a sudden a black shadow came out right here.

When I went up there to join Aaron,

in the dark after the family had left,

it was a completely different house.

It's like I come to this room, there's a noise over there,

it's like switching when I go to the other room.

Something tapped over there now.

[Billy] I heard the same noise as well when I was setting the camera.

The family was saying they would hear tapping all the time.

It seemed to be taunting me because I would hear a noise, follow it into the room

and then there'd be a noise in a different room,

and I'd go into that room and hear a noise in another room.

And it just had me running around.

Are you trying to torment the women in this house?

that would mean the neighborhood heard you

When I was laying there. There was a moment where,

and I wake up.

And I feel like there's someone standing next to me and I can't move.

a historic windstorm descend on the tiny town once again

With hurricane force winds topping 80 miles per hour,

knocking down trees and ripping off roofs.

Tragically, the storm left at least five people dead in the region.

The locals could not recall ever experiencing winds

this fierce outside of a tornado.

[Zak] So, Brenda and Anthea

let's get into the first piece of evidence.

[Billy] Okay, so during the investigation,

where we first got started, Aaron went upstairs

to set a walkie-talkie on the chest right there.

From nerve center

we noticed an anomaly floating in the room up here near the rafters.

So this anomaly is what we would call an unexplained light anomaly.

We rolled for many hours on.

On multiple cameras, that is the only light anomaly that we captured,

on all the cameras from multiple hours.

That's why it's interesting.

And it's in an area where bad things

have happened to your family members and you all.

So let's move on to the second piece, Billy.

All right. So Aaron decided to lay in your bed

with the Polterpod device on his chest,

and I was monitoring the EMF readings around Aaron.

And during this moment,

something came through the Polterpod.

I'll play it for you.

[Aaron] Oh, my God, I about [bleep] myself, dude.

[spirit speaking]

Whoa!

[spirit speaking]

Whoa!

[spirit speaking]

Whoa!

Oh!

[Billy] I mean it's clear that it said pissed off.

Does that mean anything to you guys?

[Brenda] Whatever's in that room,

like between my sister and I whenever either one of us had that room,

it's always been negative.

Like nothing good has happened ever in that room.

So that doesn't surprise me that, of what it said.

Well, it's interesting that this seems to be

a human voice saying pissed off.

Are we concluding that this is a demon?

No, we're not.

Could this possibly be a very angry,

pissed off spirit that's human? Yes.

Why is it pissed off and why is the spirit there?

Was there a death in the house before,

you know, your family, owned it?

Billy, move on to the next one.

All right. So now we've moved from that room

and this came through the Polterpod.

Now. Quit messing around.

[Billy] Whoa!

[spirit speaking]

- [Billy and Aaron] Child! - [Billy] Whoa!

It's very interesting that you saw those spikes happen.

Seems like there was a little frequency burst the

and then the "Child" voice came out.

That is solid proof that that was a spirit voice

because Billy was using a scientific instrument to document,

a coincidental EMF spike

happening at the same exact moment.

I believe detecting the manifestation of that spirit,

using the electromagnetic energy field to say that word.

Billy, set off this next sound.

Why don't you ask them if, you know, what... what this sound is.

[Billy] We sent in Lauren

and she walked into the room that's...

You had an anxiety attack, right?

- and we went outside with yo -[Anthea] Mm-hmm.

[Billy] Lauren went into that room by herself

and the second that she entered into the room,

she heard a very strange sound.

Maybe you can help us figure out what that might be.

What is this sound?

It sounds like a few, like, piano keys or something.

Do you know of anything in the room that could make this sound?

There's like no toys or anything in that room that could make that sound.

So you can't explain what this sound is.

- No. - But there's been a few times,

sometimes it'll be a really, really quiet,

like just one single piano key,

but it was really, really faint.

I've never heard it that loud before.

So this was a quick experiment I had.

I had three of my team members all lay down on separate beds throughout the house.

And during this time, this was one of the creepiest things

that I have ever heard or witnessed

because I was watching all of them on camera

laying in bed, not moving.

She's laying in bed and she hears this.

[footsteps]

[Anthea] Yup.

That's an everyday thing, like every night, all-the-time thing.

Somebody is walking in your family's house

that we can't see, but we can hear. Okay.

Somebody was walking down those steps.

Billy, why don't you show 'em just two more pieces of evidence.

These two pieces go together.

I think that this evidence of the XLS camera, what...

what we're gonna show you is the same exact thing

that we captured on the infrared camera,

the anomaly, it's the same exact thing.

And I believe, this is the spirit.

This is how the spirit is in form.

It travels in an orb.

It's in the shape of a circle,

and it's camouflaged as the same color in the background.

Watch this.

[Aaron] Yeah, I have shortness of breath.

- [Billy] Whoa! - [Aaron] What?

[Billy] It looks like a bump over the bed.

And as it comes down, it travels through the bed

and then shoots out the side of the bed in a circular form.

It starts out translucent, and then once it leaves the bed,

it turns black in color, which in this particular camera in black,

it has a lot of mass to it.

We've never seen this on the XLS.

So when I saw it, I was like, that looked like the predator

when he's invisible and he's trying to blend into the trees.

And it's very similar to the anomaly

that we captured on the night vision camera.

I believe this is how the spirit is traveling through our dimension.

We captured it twice in the other room

when the XLS was left by itself and no one was in the room.

Watch this.

Right here, it's by the dresser or the trunk,

and it's heading towards where the pillowcase is

and it travels over the top of the bed.

We've got spirits saying that they're pissed off.

We've got EMF spikes going off when they're talking.

We've got anomalies.

We've got unexplained piano sounds.

After looking at this evidence,

yes, your house is very haunted

and I believe it is from a very angry spirit that wants that house

and they don't want to be bothered.

They want your family out of there,

particularly in that room where Aaron was laying down.

We believe you, okay? We believe you.

So if you stay there, your family stays there.

They're probably gonna... What's wrong?

Our entire lives, we've always been told by other people

that we're crazy, so it makes me want to cry knowing

that like we actually have the proof,

we have the evidence and we're not going crazy.

- [Zak] All right. - I mean, it felt like we were going crazy for a while there.

Like, even after you guys left, we were like,

what if they didn't catch anything?

You're not, you're not alone. We believe you, okay?

And Anthea, I want your tears to also motivate you

to realize that you guys are not crazy, Okay?

But now, you either, A, find a new house to live, okay,

or this is going to be ongoing,

or you can just keep going through the fight

and trying to rid this entity from the home.

But I just don't know how strong of a grip this entity

has on its territory.

And the more that you try to push it away,

the more it could backfire on your family.

And I'm worried about your family.

That's it. I hope that at least this helped you.

And I know that, Anthea, you had some emotions

just because of watching our evidence helped you to know that you're not crazy.

So we're glad we at least helped you in that respect.

It's overwhelming, but it's a relief.
