All language subtitles for 2. Cherry Tree

In this video, we're going to take a look at one of my favorite notation programs Cherry Tree now a

cherry tree is a free notation software, and it stores things in a hierarchal note taking application.

It does rich text syntax, highlighting story data.

And you can export in Excel as well light file, PDF, etc..

And it's also free, and it's available for Windows, Linux and OS X so you can find it over it.

Or just do a Google search for cherry tree notation.

So.

If we scroll down here, we can kind of see the screenshots and break out of Cherry Tree will also take

a look at it momentarily.

And down in here, you can see the different ways you install Cherry Tree for the various operating

systems.

I'm not going to go through that because it is pretty straightforward with just launching the program

itself.

So this is Cherry Tree again, pretty easy program, so I you do file new instance and it opens a new

one here.

If I right click on the bar here, I could add a node in here and we'll see what this looks like.

So I'm going to name this one.

S. main page.

And we can make that bold, we could change, we could select a color for it.

Let's make this dark blue.

And you could do new type rich text, plain text, automatic syntax highlighting, you could put in

tags for this.

You can make a read only.

I'm just going to click OK and we can see the first page here and I could put down.

Those on main page, and then if I want to make a sub known to this, I can right click this I can do

and sub nude or I can duplicate change new properties, bookmarks, et cetera.

Add to some note here I'm going to put down some basic information.

And we'll bold that, and then under here, I can make another one at a subdued I could put down social

media,

OK, and I can make some notes of some notes of basic information.

And as some node here and we can call this extra extra information

and you can see there's a sub note in here and I can put another one in here.

I could do media files.

OK.

And it operates pretty much like any other techs, Ed, so under basic information, I could put down

name age.

Location, cetera, et cetera.

And other media files say we find a media file.

The nice thing about this is I can click in here.

I could do insert insert image I.

I'm doing a own investigation and I find some images that are of interest.

I can click this, I can open, we could change the properties of the image itself here or to leave

it the same here.

And we could put a note down here.

Subjects House and we could do another.

Some note here, I'm going to do files

and say we find some files we can.

We're going to insert and we can do insert, file even and say, I have a file that we find here.

I'm going to just add this file here.

And we could we could also do links to so.

By clicking here, we could do insert.

Tables, we can insert images, we insert code boxes, insert edit links, so I can do a link name,

we can do link.

And we're going to link the website so we could do, say, HTP.

Yes.

Google.com.

I can click enter and there's a link.

Now we're ready to export.

We could do file.

We could do export.

We can export to PDF, h, html, plain text or a cherry tree document.

So let me export this H.M. file, and it gives us some options here, tex.

Always like note only I'm going to do the whole tree, which means it's going to grab everything here.

OK, I'm going to make that a single file where you click, OK, and let's put this in or put this on

the desktop, so it's easy to find.

OK.

And let's put it in this intro, one folder.

OK.

And here's our final intro one a.m. there's a e-mail folder here, which is this.

And if I click on the index here.

We could see it broken out, there's a main page, there's a some page name, age, location, there's

our image here.

Subject's house and we can go in here.

There's our file that we could download.

I can do save link as a download that file.

And here's our link.

I can click on this and you'll take us to the link that it goes to.

So it's a pretty cool program.

Again, you could definitely break this out and into a pretty easy to read read format for for a report

writing.

Again, it's pretty cool because if we find images, we find media, we find videos and whatnot, we

can drop it into into cherry tree and make it a pretty easy to read format for someone.

Or even if it's just for ourselves, we can help organize our thoughts and the stuff that we find pretty

easily with this program.
