I want to show you guys.

My favorite Chrome extension in that is DS Amazon,

quick view.

The best part about it is that it's free.

All right,

I'll put a link to it in this lecture.

So you can download it.

What this does is it displays best seller rank or

BSR?

For short on Amazon in search results when we perform

a keyword search.

Let me show you.

So,

here I searched for stop staring at my dad bod.

Now,

when I scroll down,

you'll notice with Ds Amazon,

quick view installed.

It inserts this,

you know,

hashtag and then which represents the number and then it

puts a number.

So those numbers represent how well a product is selling

relative to other products in its category.

And you can actually see here that it says,

for instance.

This is the 370900 20th.

Best seller currently in clothing shoes and jewelry in

that category.

Okay,

by the way,

you can even see the top 100 in the category

by clicking that link.

You can see what what the bestsellers are.

But what does this number?

What's the significance of 370,000?

Right?

Well,

I guess it,

when you start looking at other products like this 15.3

million,

we know that the 370,000

vs.

Our product is selling significantly better than 5.3

million and here's 1.8

million,

which is better than the 5.3

million and you can keep scrolling and you can see

How well a product is selling relative to similar products

by looking at the best-selling?

What about when it says rank?

Not found though.

When you see rank not found,

that means that this product has never sold.

If a product has sold on Amazon before,

it will always have a best seller rank.

Okay.

So any time you see rank not found,

you can probably I believe DS.

Amazon quickview.

Also let you Hover over.

Let's see.

Do you have to pay?

No,

there we go.

This is BS Amazon,

quick view,

or Amazon.

But if you hover over the product itself,

you can see the date that it was first made

available.

So often times will notices that the products that don't

have a rank either.

They either the design sucks or the nice selection sucks.

But if it's in a good Niche with a good

design and it has no no best seller rank.

It might be a newer product.

Now you can use the best seller rank the BSR

as an indicator of sales velocity,

but it's really hard for you and I to like

actually pull these numbers out of like,

you know,

if you ask me.

like how many cells a day are they making?

I would have to guess now.

I just want to show you.

I'm not recommending that you guys selling print-on-demand.

Pay for Jungle Scout.

But there is a Chrome extension called jungle Scout.

That is the most accurate product research tool on Amazon.

Now,

the reason I have it is because I'm an FBA

seller as well.

And it's really useful for Amazon FBA,

where we accept the front,

the money for the stuff that we sell as opposed

to print on demand.

Where if we post a t-shirt.

It doesn't sell all we're out of our time,

right?

Now,

when I run jungle Scout,

I can actually sort by daily sales and see which

products in the search results.

It's estimating to be the best sellers.

So it thinks that a couple of these products are

doing three sales ad,

a dad bod powered by,

then.

They put Busch Light in the shirts.

Probably not a good strategy,

this one.

I'm a proud dad of a super awesome daughter.

Three sales ad a dad bod shirts,

working on my dad bod,

Sasquatch bud,

has like a joke on Dad.

Dad bod saying to sales a day today.

That's,

you know,

60 sales a month.

And if you can make $5 per sale,

that's $200 a month from one shirt.

I mean know if you are getting blown away by

like today,

3 sale today,

like it's not that bad if you actually like make

a decent profit margin on them.

So just pointing it out there,

but guys,

the important takeaway is just that DS,

Amazon,

quickview is awesome because it allows you to just very

quickly,

do Niche,

validation,

you know.

Like if you had this Niche,

stop staring at my dad bought it and you're like,

okay,

should I sell this?

Should I not sell this,

come to Amazon,

do a keyword search and just scroll,

you know,

scroll really quickly when you see like three hundred seventy

thousand.

Guests are 5.3

million,

1.8

million 268k rank,

not found.

I found you can do a quick scroll and just

look,

you know,

I'm seeing 11 million 1.7

million 4.2

million,

6.3

million,

million million million.

Right now,

found to me that indicates like it gives you a

general idea really quickly.

First of all,

that's a free tool,

right?

Of how well does niches moving and my general rule

of thumb is if it seems like page one has

an average BSR under a million.

It's probably worth entering that Niche but if it has

an average BSR of above a million which again,

you don't have to have like an exact science.

Just do a quick stroll and look above a million

though.

It may not be worth it.

Now.

Let's look at it.

Like this one has a 1.1

million BSR.

I'm going to run.

Jungle Scout.

And let's look at how many sales a month it

estimates that this product is doing just to give you

an idea cuz 1million basically,

like I said to me,

it's The Sweet Spot.

I want to,

I want to enter new shoes with under a million

PSR.

All right,

and it is saying zero monthly sales,

which is interesting because I think about a million BSR.

You actually should be making at least one sale a

month and there is actually another Chrome extension that you

can grab for free called helium 10.

It's another like Amazon FBA specialty extension,

but it can help for Merch and it's free.

So again,

you don't need to pay.

They will try to make you pay if you don't

need to pay.

All right,

you do need to make an account though.

So I'll put a link to the helium 10 from

extension as well.

When you install it you should see this like pop

up on underneath the individual page listings.

Now what I'm doing and by the way,

I typically don't even come to a specific product page.

Like I don't come to the listing itself.

I'll just do my evaluation from the search results.

But if you wanted to do what I'm trying to

do right now and illustrate,

how many sales a month about 1 million,

gets you well just as I expected you can sort

by 30 days and you can see the best seller

rank history.

It looks like it's a 3.8

million 4.5

million five.

6 million,

27 million and look what happens?

They make a sale and when they make a sale

BSR drops down to four hundred 34,000

case,

it goes from 7 million to 434000 but notice as

time goes on and they don't make sales.

The best seller ain't just keep getting higher and higher.

And as you know,

why I write it because other products in this category

are making sales in this one isn't.

So get it pushed back.

All right,

so it looks like about 1 million.

BSR means one sale a month as I expected.

And again,

guys that you really only need to make one sale

a month.

Think about it.

Like you make one sale a month and you're into

your 1000.

So that would be a thousand sales.

If you make $5 per sale profit $5,000

a month.

I know that that is not actually how it works.

No one's going to make one sale on every single

product,

APUSH per month,

but hopefully you get the gist of what I'm saying.

Some were going to sell a lot,

so I won't sell it all and then you want

to make Evergreens that can sell.

Even just once a year.

You don't answer.

You're doing a thousand Eyes by make one sale a

year on.

Hundred thousand products that make $5 for sale.

That's a million dollars profit in a year.

So,

you know,

it's different.

How you approach this by your tear and that's why

we talk about that in the Amazon merch course,

but even if you're not selling on Amazon,

you know,

you can still use the best seller rank of Amazon,

you know,

from the search results to validate entire niches because this

is the number one.

You Converse website in the world do if it's selling.

Well here,

it's going to sell well in other places,

if it's not selling.

Well,
