Now, of course, we have six strings on the guitar and the string numbers that you may hear me refer

to and, you know, other guitars would refer to, that's the first string, second string, third string,

fourth string.

Fifth straight and sixth.

So.

The notes of those strains in.

B.

Jean.

De.

A.

And he.

It's important to remember those, you know, as we talked about in attuning video, you need to know

how to tune your guitar to the to the right pitches, of course, each string to the right pitch.

But remembering.

That's the string.

That's the B string.

That's the G string.

That's the D string.

That's the string.

That's the E string is important.

And, you know, if I'm providing an example in this course where I say, OK, the pinky is on the third

fret of the first string.

Then you'll know that the thinking is on the third fret, one, two, three of the first string, which

that's the first string.

If we say it's on the second fret of the fourth string, it's going to be there.

So one, two, three, four.

So those are the string numbers and names.
