It's all set up in action, so I think having your guitar set up well is maybe the most important step

in making your music journey as easy as you can on yourself.

The action of the guitar is how low the string is to the frets.

So if the action is too high and it requires too much effort from the left hand in pressing down on

the fret, it makes it so much more difficult to play.

And when guitar manufacturers ship guitars all over the world, you know, the guitars are not set up,

you know, so they're pliable because every climate's a little different.

And you really need an experienced luthier to set up your instruments so that the strings are a good

height of the of the fretboard.

And a lot of stores don't do this by default.

So especially for playing fingerstyle guitar, which, you know, is an intricate playing style.

You want to have the guitar as easy to play as you can make it, and it doesn't cost a lot of money,

you know, maybe fifty dollars or something at your local store if you can have.

An you to tackle luthier, do a quick set up on your instrument.

It's really, really important because you want the action as low as possible.

So your guitar is as easy to play as you can make it.

So I really encourage you to go to your local store, to your local guitar table with you have them

do a set up on your instrument and make it as easy to play as possible.

It's going to make everything else easier.
