In this lesson, I'll show you how I upload my artwork to the monthly upload and which products to choose

and when, as well as the government colors that you should choose and the logic behind choosing specific

colors.

So let me start by this.

If you're not here, I'd say up to five hundred only upload standard T-shirts, pop sockets and phone

cases because they sell the most and only upload in the US market.

Unless you find a very profitable niche in one of the overseas markets, then definitely give it a go.

Otherwise, as you get into the App Store, upload into products and markets according to their popularity,

as you can see where in the product creation page of merch by Amazon and we can see all the products

in front of us.

So let's say you've already created your designs.

You know exactly what you're going to upload.

And this is what I've done here.

I've got my designs prepared.

I'm assuming you've created your designs, respects in the right dimensions, like I showed you in the

design tutorials.

Now you're ready to upload.

So there's two ways to upload the idea.

Click on your products right here and then you select your design and Double-Click it this way.

Your design will be uploaded to all the products that you've selected.

And as you can see, as you upload a design to either of these products up to here from here to here,

the same design would be uploaded to all of them across the board because the prince area has the same

dimensions.

Now, the other way is to simply drag your products right here like so, and it will get uploaded in

the same way.

I personally prefer the second method because it's just easier to track and drop.

Now we need to upload to this the pullover hoodie and the zip hoodie, which have different dimensions

from these products right here.

So we're simply going to drag our design and drop it over the hoodie.

And as you can see, our design is uploading to both hoodies.

And now we do.

The pop socket is done uploading very quickly.

And now, as you can see, I've got two versions of my design for the iPhone cases.

I've got one for Samsung and one for iPhone.

So this is the iPhone design.

I'm going to drag it and this is how it shows on the iPhone case.

Amazing.

Now I'm going to drag my Samsung version and drop it over the Samsung Galaxy cases.

It shows perfectly.

Can you see how the proportions are?

Amazing.

Perfect.

So if you follow my design tutorials, your designs will always look great when you upload them to the

product.

Now, the next thing I need to discuss with you is how you choose colors.

So if you're uploading to the fitness needs, for example, it's always wise to upload your tank tops

and hoodies as well as standard t shirts.

I wouldn't upload to the premium t shirts unless you have a lot of slots to fill because they have a

lot of sizing issues with them and they get a lot of returns added to the fact that they don't sell

anywhere near the standard t shirt numbers.

However, I've noticed that Amazon sometimes gives them a push up the search results to promote them

a little bit.

Let's say you're doing a summer vibe design.

It doesn't make sense to put the design on hoodies.

Right.

And let's say you're doing a St. Patrick's Day.

It wouldn't make any sense to upload to a purple T-shirt because St. Patrick's Day is all about the

color green.

Right?

I think you've got the idea definitely considered that you're uploading to when you select a new government

color.

By the same token, if your design is generally like put it on darker common colors and if you design

is not considered, put in your design on lighter colors in order to create contrast, which is what

makes the design pop.

So let's choose our colors.

I click on edit details and we can see a bigger picture of our mock up so we can make the right choices.

So how does this product look on black?

Looks amazing, right?

So we select black 100 percent.

Just bear in mind, black always sells, so make sure you always select the black common color if your

design suits.

Of course.

Let's see.

How about this one?

What does it look like?

Asphalt's.

It looks good.

I'm trying to select the darker colors because they sell the best and if I have any slots left, then

I'll attribute them to some lighter colors.

Brown looks good.

I'm going to select it.

This cranberry red.

I'm not sure there's not enough contrast for me.

Yeah, this is good.

No, see this grass green.

I'm not going to select it.

It's all because matics down here does not show at all.

It gets disappeared.

Had a blue.

Yeah we can select it.

Navy of course.

Olive.

Sure.

For now.

Purple.

Yeah.

Maybe Royal Blue.

Yeah.

I'm going to select silver because it sells.

I'm not going to select Slate because my green text here does not show at all.

Can you see it doesn't show why.

Yeah we can select white even though it doesn't generally sell but some people might like it.

Who knows.

And generally speaking a lot of text designs are designed in white, so it doesn't make sense to choose

the wogaman color against a white design.

But in this case it works so we can select it.

Well, it looks like we run out of colors because we're only allowed ten colors.

And I think we've done a great job because we've selected the best colors that suit the design.

Now, in terms of color choice, you can either choose five colors, which is what Amazon recommends,

or the maximum number of colors per product, which is ten.

I've tried both and I've had similar results.

So test both ways and see which approach works best for you.

Now let's do the premium T-shirt.

Black, of course it looks good.

Asphalt's.

Yeah, not bad.

To be fair, baby blue looks good as well.

So let's select it this time.

We can do Cranbury as well.

It's not bad.

Dark hair.

The one thing I've noticed is that the shade of the premium colors are slightly different from the standard

t shirt.

So remember earlier our text retrieving was lost completely in the grass color, but here in the premium

t shirt it shows slightly.

But I'm still not going to choose it because it just doesn't look good.

We can choose the blue color green a complete no, no.

Hey, the great.

Yeah, not bad.

Lemon is actually not bad.

So maybe this time you can choose slightly different colors.

If you're uploading to the premium t shirt, I'd advise you to have a little bit of.

Variation in terms of colors, this way you give yourself a better chance of selling.

Yeah, we can upload to Naveh definitely we can upload Olive and this is the maximum can upload to obviously

I've missed some good dark ones, but I replaced them with some brighter colors in order to give myself

a better chance of selling because who knows, maybe someone would want this design in lemon and if

I didn't have it then they might not purchase.

One thing I need to mention to you, which is really, really important in terms of types, always choose

men, women and use.

Even if your design is only for women.

Some women want a benefit and a lot of them do.

A lot of them go for unisex instead of women because the women is different.

And even if your design is just for men, I'd also select the women and use because some men may want

a women because they prefer over the men, who knows?

Or they may go for the youth option because they don't fit in the men or women, maybe because they

choose more, maybe because they're too petite.

So always give all the choices.

The only time when I wouldn't offer a youth fit type if it is against Amazon's policy.

So if your design mentions firearms or profanity or anything like that, make sure you read the policy

to understand what I'm talking about.

I'm going to link it down below for your convenience and so that you don't make any mistakes next week.

Next, obviously, black looks glorious or we can choose the baby blue.

Yes, we can choose this one as well.

Sure, because I'm not liking the way retrieving looks.

It kind of disappears in it, so I'm not going to select it.

Navia Definitely pink.

Yeah, looks good.

Purple looks good.

Red not bad.

Kind of borderline.

Even though that don't stop doesn't contrast well with the common color, I'm still going to choose

it because it's not really 100 percent bad.

Saphire, I'm not sure that retrieving just gets dissipated, so I'm going to leave it out.

So if I was to compare both red and sapphire, I think red looks more contrasted than Sapphire, as

you can see.

And I did tell you that red is a bit borderline.

I wouldn't go any more than that if my design disappeared more in the red common color, I probably

wouldn't choose it.

OK, next tank tops again, which is men and women types, because it doesn't really make any difference

and we don't have the youth type to worry about.

So yeah, leave it like that.

Men and women in terms of colors, again, we're going to go through them one by one and see which one

works best.

By the way, I chose all the colors available that I can upload because I wanted to give you an example

of what you can do, but you're free to choose however many colors you want, maybe less than five colors

or five colors or more, or the maximum ten.

Again, I think less than five colors is probably too little.

So do five colors.

The right black, of course, dark hair.

That looks good.

I think retrieving gets lost.

Some are going to choose how the great navy is good.

Neon pink.

Yeah.

Purple.

Yeah.

Yeah, red is fine.

Again, this is borderline royal design gets lost in the fire so I'm not going to choose it.

White is fine.

I mean you could choose the gray if you wanted to.

It's kind of borderline for me.

I probably wouldn't choose it, but yeah.

If you think it won't hurt then choose it.

Why not.

But as you can see, comparing it with the white, it's really not contrasts yet.

So it doesn't pop always the Black Sea now.

Long sleeves again, which is the black color, dark hair.

That looks good.

Heather Grey looks good.

See different products have different shades of the same color.

So shades of Heather Gray not working on products, but it might work in the different products, as

we can see in this case.

Navy, of course, it really pops and royal blue as well.

Looks good.

OK, next ratlines again, which is men and women.

The white looks much, much better.

So which is all the white ones?

The gray one just doesn't pop.

But it's still not bad.

It's kind of borderline.

So let's go with it anyway.

Now sweatshirts black, of course, dark hair.

That looks good.

Heather Grey looks good as well.

Navy, of course, and Royal Blue as well.

And Pullover Hoodie would have the same color.

So yeah, we select the same colors.

Looks good.

Yep.

Yep.

They're all good as you can see next.

Zip hoodie.

The black looks glorious as always.

Stuck.

That looks good.

So we select it for a screen.

I'm not going to select it because there's not enough contrast for me.

Do you know what.

Look and again, it's not that contrasty but it still shows.

So I'm probably going to choose the Grey.

I'll choose Heather Grey, even though it's kind of borderline navy, 100 percent purple.

Looks good with this red.

I'm not sure.

I'm really not sure about how the red in my design is going to be printed on this red color.

So I'm going to leave it out.

Royal blue, definitely with pop sockets, you've got no colors to choose.

And with iPhone cases, you've got no colors to choose as well because you choose them when you're doing

your background in the design process, of course.

And that's how you upload your artwork.

So the product creation page unmatched by Amazon.
