All language subtitles for 10. Design On Your Mobile Phone With The Over App

In this lesson, I'm going to show you how to make a quick design with the over app on your mobile phone,

so sometimes you get an idea and you need to design it very quickly and you may not have your PC or

laptop or whatever that you design with in front of you.

But obviously everyone has got one of these right.

And you're going to leverage that to make your design.

So first, go ahead and download the app on the App Store or Google Play store, set up your account

and start designing.

It's as simple as that.

They do have a free and a paid version.

The free version is more than enough, in my opinion, but the paid version allows you to do so many

things like importing your own fonts or using their graphics library and so on.

I'm going to do a demo and a free version.

So what is the Over at the Oviraptors is an app that you can use for all around branding.

It's not just for designing T-shirts.

You can use it for design and Instagram posts, Facebook banners, etc. But for this lesson, of course,

we're going to cover how to make a T-shirt design.

So as you opened the app, you've got this Discover section.

You can either search for what you want or simply scroll down and see what ideas are presented to you.

You can also click next to it on templates and we can find so many templates for so many things that

even have video games.

But it's only there's lots of free templates here as well.

So if you want to start with a template, for example, this one right here, you click on it and it

comes up and you can edit it right away.

Now, what we're interested in is creating our own design with our own dimensions.

So we click on the plus button here in the middle and we really contrast parents right here.

And we want to click on the dimensions right here and we want to enter our own dimensions first.

We want to disable constraints, proportions, and we click on with and we change it.

Forty five hundred and then click on height.

Fifty four hundred.

These are the match by Amazon t shirt dimensions and then click on the text to confirm.

Fantastic.

Now we've got the canvas with our own dimensions.

The first thing you're presented with is the image so you can add an image from wherever you want.

Picture eBay or Splash which are both free.

Of course you can even enter your logo if you want, but you have to have the pro version.

We're not interested in entering the photo, so we're going to go to text.

I'm thinking of making a beacon floral design, so let's see if we can do that.

So it'll be and then enter, enter.

And I want to enter another text because I want them to be separate so that I can change them however

I want.

By the way, you could duplicate the text if you want, just by pressing and then go to duplicate like

so and you can delete it by clicking again.

Right.

Arrow and delete.

Now I want to change the font size double click and I can further manipulate the text in terms of changing

the color, the font, the style, etc..

I quite like this fonts right here, skinny and I go to the first text as well and change its font.

OK.

Awesome.

OK, great.

I'm happy with that.

Just going to make them bigger of course.

Like so for now.

Now we can add the graphic, you can add the graphic to the text or you can add the shape for shapes.

You have to have the pro version of course.

So when you click on it, says Pro.

Now let's go to graphics.

You can have free graphics or you can have graphics that work with the pro version.

But obviously for this lesson, we're going to choose a few graphics.

So it's I breathe and see what we can find.

OK, not bad.

As you can see, these are all pro version.

Let's find something that's free.

So I quite like this Christmas watercolor flower one.

So I'm going to click on it.

And as you can see, it appears immediately.

And how you make something bigger or smaller is literally like zooming in or out.

So we're going to make it bigger, like so awesome.

It's centered right now.

We're going to click on the Yellow Tech.

Fantastic.

Now we click on layers and we'll make the read layer, the bottom layer.

This way we can in be kind freely.

So it will be kind of slightly up and I think it looks good.

Now we go to layers and goes our transparent background and we change it to a color background, maybe

black just so we can see how it looks.

And that looks awesome, guys.

Brilliant.

We turn it back to a transparent background like yellow tech.

And now, guys, we can expose it as a PG.

And now we click on the yellow button, click on exposed settings.

As you can see, Panji, high quality with transparency.

Great.

Done and save.

Before I finish this lesson, I just want to go through some options for text.

I mean, there's so many options.

It's crazy for a free app.

It's really good.

So we can go to stores, we can align left middle justify a line.

Right.

Keep it middle.

So this is the spacing section.

You've got horizontal and vertical spacing and then we've got caps.

You can change it around if you want, as you can see, curves so we can make it curved like so.

And then we have the colors.

We can change the color to whatever we want, like so size.

This is how we can change the size as well.

We can create a shadow and this is how we change the angle up or down, right or left.

You can add blur to the shadow color.

You can have your shadow a different color like so you can change the opacity, make the shadow stronger

or less prominent.

This is the opposite of the text so you can make it lower or increase it.

I'd always suggest you keep it at one hundred percent.

You can rotate the text if you want, like so can energy up or down.

If you want to make very precise adjustments, you can mask the text and then unmask the text.

It also has a blend amount which is really good for free up.

And yeah, that's it guys.
