All language subtitles for 9. UK, USA, or DE market - which one performs best-en_US

One question that I receive quite a lot is this one, does the American market.

The German market or the UK market performed best?

Which one should I choose?

Now, I already talked with you about that a while back when we talked about the situation of the markets.

Now, the earnings potential in my mind and of course, you can disagree with that, but it's just simply

that I am experienced over the last couple of years.

I can just tell you that the market in the U.S. is a bit more saturated, but the earnings potential

is a lot higher.

So if you have a great product, you will make more money with that great product compared to, let's

say, the U.K. market or the German market.

So what market should you focus on?

Well, I would actually recommend you to always go with U.S. markets, because even on average, you're

going to make more money there.

So on average, for instance, and this is something that I've seen across the book, when people go

to the market, they're probably going to make, let's say, around one to four dollars per book per

month.

So if you publish, let's say, 1000 books, you're probably going to be at around, let's say, a thousand

to 4000 dollars per month.

This won't happen in the first month, but probably like after two or three or four months.

And you will.

And this is what I again, I cannot promise you, but that is what I assume you will make money in the

first month is actually one thing that I've seen across the book with pretty much everyone that started

such a business that they earned already money in the first month when they published lots of books.

So, of course, if you just published, let's say, one book in the first month, you're probably not

going to earn a lot of money or any money at all.

But when you publish, let's say, a couple of dozen couple hundred books in the first month, you will

see some earnings in most cases.

So when you build such a business, start with the U.S. market, because the earnings potential is the

highest.

It's more saturated.

But when you do a bit of research and you actually find interesting niches which are not too over,

let's say, crowded and there are not too saturated, you will actually make more money there than in

the U.K. or the market.

What I would recommend you to do is to just start with the U.S. market and don't think too much about

the other markets.

So take the U.S. market publishing book.

They're translated to other languages, publish these books on these other markets, and then just leave

it at that.

One more advice, if you will.

For instance, for some reason, don't want to publish in the U.S. and you just say, well, I want

to focus, let's say, on the German market.

That's fine as well.

Just go with that.

But it is, in my mind, the best idea to just take the book and to translate it.

You don't necessarily have to publish on the UK market or U.S. market or something like that, but publish

on every market possible that you really want to publish on.

So if you say, well, I don't want to publish on the UK market, not even on the market, so the German

market or on the U.S. market, then take the book and publish it on the Italian market, publish it

on the let's say the Mexican market, publish it on, let's say the Chinese market, the Japanese market,

the Spanish market, and so on and so on, because you will make money on these markets as well.

One more advice that I want to give you concerning that is in the long run, you will have that first

mover effect, because think about the situation when it comes to low content books about like five

or 10 years ago in, let's say, the U.S. market, there were very few people that actually took this

business seriously and who published the thousands and thousands of books.

And these are the people that really make the most money because their books are very old.

They are very, let's say, popular amongst people on the platform because they have recurring customers.

There are people that purchase these products and left reviews.

There are people who uploaded photos and, you know, basically showed that the product is great and

these products are very hard to beat.

And the same thing applies to these smaller markets, let's say, like the Mexican market or the Italian

market or the Japanese markets or any of these markets.

They are not saturated yet.

And if you start right now and perhaps even, you know, have no problem with not making too much money

over the last or the next, like two to three years, and then you will see the bigger profits coming

in after, let's say, like four or five years or something like that.

So it's rather an investment in your future than a short term strategy.

But I think this long term strategy makes a lot of sense and will make you in the long run, a lot of

money.
