In this course,

you'll learn a lot about React.

You'll learn about all those core features

that make up React and you are able

to build your own React apps

if you went through that course.

But in this entire course,

we used React with JavaScript.

With the JavaScript programming language

because React is a JavaScript library

and most examples and demos and the official documentation

which you find out there is about React with JavaScript.

But you actually can also use React with TypeScript.

And that's what this course section is about.

Now for that, I'll first of all explain

what exactly TypeScript is and why we might want to use it.

Good news is,

that it's not a totally new programming language.

Instead it builds up on JavaScript.

Then I'll walk you through some TypeScript fundamentals,

some important basics,

which you need to know about TypeScript in order to use it.

And then of course, most importantly,

in this section I will show you how you can use TypeScript

in combination with React,

how you can write your React code with TypeScript.
