I am such a huge believer.

I just want to get started
right out of the gate.

You absolutely 100% believe
in life beyond our planet.

and proven it exists,

and now it's all starting to
come out in the mainstream

We've been making contact with
these civilizations as a group

since 1990.

I was supposed to save this
for the end of the interview,

but I'm just gonna
do it right now.

- I used your app.
- Okay.

And I made contact
on my 28th birthday.

What did you see?

I actually went through
this whole thing in my head

where I was like, "Hey, guys,

so, uh, there's this thing
called birthdays down here,

and it's mine, and I'm gonna
talk to your friend Dr. Steven
Greer

- in a couple of weeks."
- Wow.

And shortly after,

right in the middle of the sky
was this bright, bright light.

It started changing colors
and moving around.

At one point it almost looked

like it was moving
like a shooting star

but very slow
and way far in the distance.

- And then it just stops.
- Right.

- And as it stopped...
- Mm-hmm.

- ...it backed away.
- Yes.

Well, this is real.
You can't debunk that.

That's a classic close encounter
of the fifth kind.

It's interaction
with consciousness.

That do things that a satellite
and a plane can't do.

- Yes.
- Sometimes you should come

- on an expedition.
- Oh, my gosh.

We should go.
It would be so cool.

- and I will go right now.

What are some of the most
interesting things

that we know about
extraterrestrials from your
perspective?

I think the most interesting,
to me,

is that we've not
ever been alone.

There's very good documentation

that civilizations
from other star systems

have observed this planet,

perhaps assisted us
at various times.

The most amazing things
that we've had happen

is that when we've made contact
with these civilizations,

and you see this in this
documentary "Close Encounters of
the Fifth Kind"

where there's this man
and this E.T.--

we have a photograph of him--

appeared between me
and this elderly gentleman

who had had a hearing loss
in middle school,

and he had a contact experience,

and that E.T. healed him
completely of this hearing loss.

And that sort of thing happens
because they have the ability

not only scientifically
but in consciousness

to interface with the whole
mind-body nexus where we
connect.

And these civilizations
understand that science

as easily as you and I
would flip on a light switch.

I know that you have appeared on
"Ancient Aliens" multiple times,

and that was actually
what kind of started my thinking

about possibly coexisting--
religion, civilizations--

and then there's, of course,
all of this technology

that we have no account for.

Is that what you call
the lost century?

The lost century really refers
to the fact that,

for the last 100 years,

there have been
classified programs,

way back in the early part
of the 20th century,

that have sequestered
big breakthroughs in technology

that would get us off
oil and gas and coal.

Why haven't they just
outright said it,

that it's real, that it's--
What are they waiting for?

- You mean the government?
- Yes, the government.

Well, this is complicated.

When I first briefed
Bill Clinton's administration

and his CIA director,

I couldn't believe it,

but I was told in the meeting

that he and the President were
denied access to these projects.

I thought, How can this be?

Well, it's because, if someone
is in favor of the truth coming
out

and starting a civilization that
doesn't use oil and pollution,

those people aren't
going to be told.

It doesn't matter
if you're the President.

- Mm-hmm.
- What I'm concerned about:

if a president
or member of Congress

takes an interest in this,

they are told that this is
an alien threat,

a national security threat,

because the people
keeping the secret

want us to go
into an interplanetary war.

How do we stop that
from happening?

The people need to know
what the truth is.

They need to get educated.

The people keeping this secret,
it would blow the lid off.

The real power, frankly,
is with the people,

which is where
this has to come from.

Mm. It sounds like consciousness
just has to do a lot

with empathy and compassion

and also being aware
and being present

so that you can focus on things
much bigger than yourself.

- Yes.
- And I feel like that's

the biggest lesson that I've
learned over the past two years.

I had to overcome
my personal struggles

so that I could become more
of an activist for other people,

- including the planet.
- That's beautiful.

The total number of minds
in the universe is one.

So we always think
we're separate from each other,

but on a really profound level

that's real
and is proven scientifically,

we're actually all one
and connected.

- Wow.
- Yeah.

I had an incredible

and I cannot wait to continue
to hopefully work together

and partner on helping prevent
interplanetary war?
