Original subtitles

In this package to trace a lab you need to configure static routes to enable IP connectivity between

pieces on the left and servers on the right.

You need to configure static grants using next hop IP addresses and do that without using default cross.

So in other words configure static grants using the correct subnet mosques in this topology the devices

in this network have passwords configured of Cisco so use that if prompted for a password for verification

you need to ensure that P.S. 1 and P.S. 2 on the left can browse to Cisco dot com.

Do that using the DNS name Cisco dot com.

This server 170 16 one or two is configured as a DNS server and is doing a name resolution for various

domains including Cisco dot com.

Now in the real world a Web site such as Cisco dot com wouldn't be using an RF C 1918 address but that's

what we're going to do in this topology.

This lab is not testing your knowledge of net or network address translation you are simply configuring

static ranch to enable connectivity between devices in this network.

So make sure that your PCs can access Cisco dot com using a web browser and in addition make sure that

switch one on the left capping the DNS server 170 16 wonder to add to the moment if I open up a console

on P.S. 1 and paying 1 7 2 16 wonder to notice we're told that the destination host is unreachable this

piece he has been allocated an IP address of via DCP thus rowdies configured as a DCP server and is

allocating IP addresses to the pieces but routing is not working properly.

So can you complete to the slab.

Can you configure static grants to ensure that to the network works properly download to the attached

packet trace file and see if you can complete the lab yourself.

Otherwise watch the next video where I complete the lab.
