Is Sang Hee his daughter?

I like you. I want to be by your side.

She has no one to rely on but me.

Yes, I'll try to get close to her as much as I can.

In any case, we have the same objective.

Kim Hyun Tae.

Let's start over. I'll be really good to you.

I'm sorry. I won't be able to meet you today.

The murderer took a scented candle.

The candle was that I made at Jae Hee's workshop.

The two cases of death must have some connection.

I need to dig into the death of Jae Hee.

The last night. We killed a man.

I like you, Se Yeon. Give me a chance.

- Episode 5 -

Did you make the wick fixed in place?

Yes.

This time, put your marker into it.

Slowly... Carefully.

Mothers, give this to your husbands.

Don't make it for your immoral partner. You will get in trouble.

By the way, Hwa Yeong didn't show up.

She skipped this, saying it wasn't her thing.

This is not the time for her to be making a candle.

If she has the time, she should be dating.

You're right.

Hey, whose initials are those?

They're not your husband's, so you don't need to know.

Do you have a boyfriend?

Hey, Eun Soo has a boyfriend.

Who is it?

Why won't you tell us?

- Let's see. Who is it? - What are you doing?

Everyone finished?

Yes.

Then next we will...

[Suspicion]

[For Our Hopeful Future]

You wouldn't come here just to check a man who killed his wife who was your friend,

nor to brag about your well-being after turning in some evidence

that was adverse to him.

Although that was adverse to you,

the details of the counseling record of Jae Hee was reasonable evidence for the deceased Jae Hee and her family.

Knowing that beating the drunken wife to death leads to being accused,

the flirt didn't have any spare phone nor any alibi, only on the day she died.

So I ended up being thrown into the crowd of lowest losers

and spending every day like hell.

Was that the reasonable evidence?

There was more decisive evidence... CCTV.

I didn't kill her!

Then who did?

In court, you denied the crime.

You said Jae Hee was having an affair and must have been killed by her lover.

Did you mean the lover was Teacher Cha Min Jae?

The asshole must have bloodied his hands ages ago.

Following Jae Hee's death, Cha Min Jae was also murdered.

At his home, a candle made in her workshop has been missing.

Are they possibly related?

You know something, don't you?

Why do I have to tell you?

Even if I knew something, why would I say anything... to you?

What did he say?

It seems like he knows something, but he won't say.

Then there's only one way.

Please show me the medical record of my father.

Did you also get your stubbornness from him?

I heard that I'm like my mother more.

If I face an obstacle, I find a way by any means.

Se Yeon, ta-da.

Have a taste.

This is...

Is it alright?

Not just alright.

I knew it! I'm the man who dreamed of becoming a barista.

- Tastes good. - Then I'm going to make a wish.

My wish is... A one night trip to Jeju Island,

with our children together.

What food do you like?

Food?

Would you like to come over for dinner?

I'll make you something delicious.

Really? Every day I eat meals which I bought outside, unheated.

Am I going to have home cooking cooked by you?

What would you like?

Well, I like everything.

Tell me anything. I'm good at cooking.

I don't know if you'll like it, but I'll try my very best.

And... I've been thinking that I need to tell you.

I'm very thankful to you.

Se Yeon.

Sometimes you make me forget what I have to do, who I am.

Se Yeon, I'm not going to miss this chance. I'm going to stay right by you.

You'll see.

Just a minute.

Hello, welcome.

I'm sorry. Could I park my car in front of the store?

Yes, please do so.

Is Ah Yeon doing well?

Ah, yes.

She probably grew a lot.

Give my best regards to her.

Ah, okay.

What is this? A cellphone?

What are you doing, not going in?

I will go in a moment.

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by the Mysterious Lover Team @Viki

(Get to work on time, and have another great day:)

Can we have a great day as we want?

You are now crazy over me.

One moment, please.

Hi, Ye Rin.

I have to leave urgently.

Ah Yeon, snort.

May I wash her face instead?

No need. She just needs to change. Wait for a while.

You mustn't miss the bus today because I can't give you a ride.

Small things cause problems every day.

Ye Rin, don't enter his room as you please.

Mom, doll!

She liked to make a list on anything.

She listed whatever systematically,

even about our divorce.

When I saw it accidentally,

at the end of "things to leave" list,

I found the name of Ah Yeon.

[Han Sang Hoon]

CCTV at the parking lot? Such things are left to each user.

Due to the cost. Also, the recent models of cars have black boxes as a standard feature.

Who is it?

Did you two get in a fight?

What is this silence?

You're here.

Everyone says I take after my mom.

If I face an obstacle, I find a way by any means.

- Se Yeon? - What?

Is something wrong? You look unwell.

No, it's nothing.

Continue. You said you met Jae Hee's husband?

It seems like he knew something, but he didn't say anything.

By any chance,

what would you do if a different person is the real culprit that killed Jae Hee'?

Other than her husband, who?

The person I was seeing.

She was assaulted by her husband. Why the lover?

You know something.

Jae Hee got counseling from me a couple of times before she died.

I can't tell you all the details,

but she had problems with her husband

and a problem with another man.

It seems like she liked him a lot.

Do you know who he is?

Hold on.

Hello?

Ye Rin's Mom? It's me.

I'm sorry, but I'm taking the day off.

My hip is hurting that is why I need to go to the hospital.

No, how can you say that so suddenly?

You are not in any pain. What should I do?

- But how can I find someone to watch my child when you suddenly... - Anyway,

I'm sorry for today.

If I face an obstacle, I'll find a way by all means.

Excuse me, but did someone enter my office during lunch break?

No.

I didn't see anyone.

Then, did Cha Seon Ho drop by today?

No, he didn't. Is something the matter?

I understand.

[Cha Seon Ho]

Do you think you'll never get spotted by leaving the tapes?

What are you talking about? What tape?

Are you playing innocent after committing a burglary?

Voice record?

Wait. Is there a tape of his voice record?

Tell me! Is there?

I will call you back later.

[Baek Jae Hee 1 Baek Jae Hee 2...]

Baek Jae Hee

I'm sorry.

I should have locked the door when I left, but I was too upset.

Because the fire alarm went on...

What about the face?

Do you remember how he looked like?

Her two eyes were, like a mask, really, really big.

[Things to Leave : Refrigerator, closet, book shelf, washer, album., Ah Yeon]

Boss, I will do it.

Is the child doing well?

She must have grown a lot.

[Ri Ah Flower Garden]

[Ri Ah Flower Garden]

Excuse me?

One moment, please.

I'm sorry but I don't know much about that person.

You seem to know Ah Yeon well.

I've seen her since she was little.

Now it's hard to see her because my brother-in-law is too busy.

You have a contact with your sister, don't you?

If it's not too much to ask, could I have her contact details?

Are you two dating?

You are going too far. It hasn't even been that long since she died.

She died?

I heard they were divorced?

Anyway, I don't know that person.

Please leave now.

Ah, yes, Se Yeon?

You said your company is in Euljiro area.

I'm close by, so would you like to have dinner together?

Oh, I'm working away from the office.

Then how about just a cup of tea?

Where exactly is your office?

I'll come to a nearby coffee shop.

I'm sorry, but a ph-phone call just came in. I'll call you back later.

Sorry.

[CEO Kim Young Dae]

There must be something. Could be a clue...

Here. Look at the side mirror.

Hold on. Is there a person in the back seat?

Not at that. I said look at the mirror!

I know. What a short temper.

Is it another car?

Please find the model of the car.

Working at the law firm, it may be possible for you to do that kind of search.

It's not hard, but...

What kind of video is this?

Just don't ask.

What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?

My stomach keeps hurting.

Isn't it mental problem?

Recently you look so pale.

Okay. I'll get the information.

Thanks.

That person...

Is it that lady?

It's alright, so tell me.

That lady did this to me.

Shhh...

You're not sleeping?

I can't sleep.

Wait. Hold on.

Why?

I need to use the restroom.

How often a day does she need to go for a pee?

It is the same person who killed the teacher and who took the Jae Hee's counseling tapes.

Obviously the two deaths are related.

The candle and tapes must hold some crucial clues that only the culprit knows.

Then what do we need to find?

Anything. Anything that links those two together.

We already searched thoroughly.

There's definitely something that we missed.

Mom.

This is a barista given coffee.

You're tired, aren't you?

Have this and relax, although this is the only thing I can serve.

Ah Yeon will get so excited.

I like shrimp so much!

Was it going well, your working outside?

Yes.

What kind of work do you do?

Just a job I've been working for a long time.

A small company, a minor business. You won't get it much even I tell you.

Sang Hoon, why do you like me?

What kind of question is that?

I have to leave now because Ye Rin has been waiting. Can I borrow some money?

Can't you stay a bit more? Wait for a minute.

Yes, Team Leader.

Yes.

[Viki Ver] OCN E05 Mistress "Suspicion" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

He cleared the room up.

You don't have to wash them for me.

It's okay, I finished.

[Hwa Yeong]

Hwa Yeong, How did it go?

The result of analysis arrived. The type of vehicle is SUV.

From the vehicle number, it seems like a loaner vehicle.

I sent a picture of a car of that model to you.

At your annual check-up last year, your blood-sugar level wasn't high.

Yes.

You urinate frequently, but haven't lost your appetite.

It's not because of the sugar level.

- Doctor. - Yes?

Usually, you drive your car to go home.

Yes, I do.

Do you sometimes leave your car at school?

No. Thinking about the next day, I always take it back home.

How about when you go out drinking?

No, that's never happened to me.

Then, how about within a month?

I don't know. Why are you asking this?

It's nothing.

The bus stop should have a lot of traffic.

Without the ending part, you can get some idea if the traffic...

The type of vehicle is SUV. From the vehicle number, it might be a loaner vehicle.

Teacher Han, where are you going throwing your duty to Teacher Kwon?

We swapped our shifts.

Okay.

Not Vice Principal.

Vice Principal.

Seon Ho has been lived lonely and starved for affection.

He goes crazy, even for slight favor.

Never having what he gave returned, he got hurt and shut his mind.

I have been caring his fragile mind.

But recently I'm concerned that

even his window-like mind could be cracked.

Cha Seon Ho is a strong person.

You don't have to concern yourself about him too much.

You seem not to get it. I'm saying please stop it now.

Don't cross the line.

You might not know since he hasn't shown you.

He might not know his feelings yet and still is confused.

But I know my son better than you,

better than himself.

What do you mean...

I'm going to take him back with me to U.S. after selling that house.

Sell the house?

That's all. Please understand.

That house... Cha Seon Ho has kept it,

in order to catch the real culprit for his deceased father.

That's why I'm selling it,

to stop his meaningless detective play.

What are you hiding, really?

There are no voice recordings here.

That's what I told you.

The person that really wants to hide something is you, isn't it?

[Passport of Park Gyeong Suk]

[South Korea DEPARTED - 2016 APR 11]

I told you.

I've been afraid that the last window of his mind will shatter.

Imagine this.

If Seon Ho finds out

the woman he fell in love with was the lover of his hateful father,

won't he shut the last window of his mind tightly?

[Cha Seon Ho]

What's the matter?

My mother has lied to me.

What kind of...

The day my father died, mom had left saying she was going to N.Y to see her friend.

However, by looking at her passport,

it turned out she was in South Korea on the date.

Do you know how I found that my father had a lover?

Two years ago, I eavesdropped on Mom and Dad's phone conversation.

"Unless you give up that woman, you will never see us."

"I'll find out who the woman is and kill both of you."

To tell the truth, I wanted to confirm that my mom hadn't killed him.

That's why I started my investigation.

But, at the end,

it turned out that she killed both Jae Hee and my dad.

Then what should I do?

I'm taking the role who doubts, so you can stay faithful to your mother.

Getting hurt while doubting and regretting doubt,

you don't have to do that.

Excuse me

Anyway, I don't know much about that person. Please leave now.

I told you repeatedly!

No worries! I didn't mention what you were doing.

Let me ask one question.

You told her that you had divorced my sister. Don't you have a heart?

Why are you approaching that woman?

For the money?

Whatever. I don't care.

I no longer want to be involved with you, so I'll never contact you.

You said you didn't know him much.

What did he say?

Well, please answer just this question.

This...

is his business card, isn't it?

Is it?! Answer me!

She was the one and only close sister to me, the wife of Han Sang Hoon.

After being asked for a divorce, she committed suicide.

I'm sorry for lying to you.

After seeing him coincidently at your cafe, he came to me.

He asked me not to speak much, say that I don't know him very well,

if you come here.

What?

Answer me earlier!

Se Yeon...

- Did you find her? - Not yet.

She doesn't pick up the phone.

You go that way.

By any chance, did some woman come by?

She has just left after looking at your desk.

What were you doing earlier?

At the vice principal's desk...

Nothing.

Did something bad happen?

Don't worry about it.

Then don't make me worry.

It was just lucky that I could cover for you.

There is no guarantee to have such good luck next time.

Hello.

Teacher Jeong Won.

Take this and go to the hospital if you still have stomach pain.

Thank you.

By the way, last month I didn't drive a car for a week.

Why not?

Because of an accident, my car went for scrap.

So, the car you're driving now...

I got the car from a teacher.

Which teacher?

The teacher lives in your neighborhood.

- Go back. - Good bye.

Teacher Nam Joong.

Teacher, you didn't have dinner yet? Want to grab some?

- I have things to do... - Let's go.

It looked like you.

Want to die?

How are you going to have an affair with me when you're so gutless?

Don't worry. Your wife always leaves it to us.

Isn't it the chance to stop this?

I have to continue to be on top of it, so that we won't get caught.

I'm sorry.

Why sorry?

Am I a burden to you?

You look like you're getting divorced.

I know you don't want such a thing.

Let's live comfortably.

Going back to your wife while minding too much would be troublesome.

Right. I'm thankful.

Look forward to it. It's getting hotter, and more thrilling.

Se Yeon.

That's why you approached me,

thinking I committed insurance fraud with my husband?

At first, it was like that, but not now.

Kim Yeong Dae is different from the person who you know.

How about you? Are you the one like I know before?

Or is there more unknown about you?

I'm sorry. I didn't think it would turn out this way.

Of course, you wouldn't.

You never thought that such a fool who bribed a complete stranger

would find out your true color so quickly.

I never thought I would really love you. My feeling is sincere...

You really are trash.

Se Yeon.

Don't touch me!

If you do one more time, I will kill you.

Kang Tae Ho, you know how to boost a person's morale.

Hwa Young, I have a really important meeting.

You can't go tomorrow. You said you're tired of living like you used to.

Think of today first, tomorrow is another day.

What is this?

What's wrong if I want to drink?

You drank!

Let's go.

Why are you like this?

Why are you like this today? Is something up for you today?

Should we go there today? Got it?

We need to leave.

Why?

Get up, quickly. We can't be here.

Why? I started feeling good.

Your wife is here.

What?

Let's talk outside.

She's passing by over there.

My wife is what?

Don't turn around. Your wife is there.

That's right. A cheat for a cheat.

What should we do?

Doesn't your phone app lag?

Are you crazy?

Where is she? I can't see her.

Over there! In that blue dress.

- Hwa Yeong. - Don't look back.

- That woman... - I got it, so stop looking.

is not my wife.

What are you talking about? I mean the woman in the blue dress!

She's not my wife.

Then...

Who is she?

Kim Yeong Dae is alive.

Did you go through my house?

This picture was also in the Kim Yeong Dae's office.

He's hiding, faking his own death.

From your symptoms, I'm suspecting something.

The candle. Did you find who took it away?

We have to find solid evidence.

A human is just a monster.

At some point, they come to say "kill you".
